82  Economy / Services / Re: Willing to escrow on: December 29, 2013, 09:07:38 AM
Using an escrow with somebody who's been here a day kind of defeats the purpose of using an escrow.

Yes you will have more luck as an escrow agent if you have an established reputation to leverage.

I think you need to build some trusted reputation before offering escrow services  Wink

See, that's EXACTLY like saying that the person you're interviewing needs more experience to be hired...yet you won't give them the chance to GET that experience. Sorry, not trying to sound ungrateful for the advice but I know this. And without people WILLING to let me escrow, how the hell can one BECOME an escrow.
83  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Which USB Miner Device is the best ? on: December 29, 2013, 08:53:28 AM

Which ones are you talking about? I just bought an ASIC Eruptor (333mh) for 44 bucks on ebay.

Im wondering why they cost $44, it should be $5.

Do you mind if I ask the reason you bought it?

Fun or serious mining?

I plan on serious mining but not for BTC. The best coin that I've found to mine, financially speaking, is freicoin. This is based off of information from coinplorer.com and the hardware mining simulator they have available.

Nah, I'm still healthy Wink
Although I should go see the dentist, there's this tooth...  Undecided

Haha. Keep an eye out for another one.

Ha, very nice...

My ex girlfriend used to snore like a bastard. The worst thing was she kept trying to tell me she didn't even snore. I was like, how the fuck would you know? She was a moron.

glad to know I'm not the only one who dated morons

My ceiling Cheesy

Do you actually sleep on your back? I've never know any one who sleeps like that, unless you're in the movies and like to wake up from nightmares by sitting straight up haha.

Yeah, I usually do. And spread all four! Cheesy

That's weird haha. I think only vampires sleep on their back  Smiley.

I sleep on my back until my wife punches me because of my snoring

Haha, yeah, I read sleeping on your back exacerbates snoring.

Most definitely. Add sleep apnea onto that and it's amazing.  Grin

Not sure wether I want to join this heated up topic or not, but since im writing it looks like I want to Wink

First off, I understand both sides.
Doing nothing and getting payed for it? Feels wrong!
On the other hand, there are not enough jobs for everyone. With the industrial revolutions more and more low education jobs are gone.
I think noone really wants to sit on his/her ass and do nothing. But even if you get a fixed amount of money no matter what youd still want to do something, dont you? Maybe its something most ppl wouldnt consider working, but maybe cultural works like art, music or writing. I personally think these cultural works have a value even though you cant sell them (well some artists get good money maybe, but the majority doesnt). So society should pay for it, right? Or mabye reduce daily work to 4 hours and raise the payment so you dont have to work more.

Well in my personal case I wish I had some money so I wouldnt have to work to pay for university.

You never met my ex-wife. She definitely never wants to work a day in her life

Oh I know "these people" you think about, but depending on how you define work, they do wether they know it or not.
Maybe its consulting or doing hair or whatever, even the I play WoW 60 hours a week because I have no job guys I know do some kind of work and even if its writing a how to grind dungeon xyz in WoW guide. Its a basic human principle that we want to communicate and share.
I mean there is this social system that gives them money anyway, so why not give money to everyone else who is doing something besides filling forms.

Heh, mine was a live off what I made and never add a dime type of person. I understand what you mean though. Some people are like this and some are just living off of everyone else!

Then the arguer says.. "In the Uk there are lots of immigrants that come into the country and dont work and they are given shelter and assistance." The arguer spoke as if every single immigrant in the UK did not work and just is basically sucking the life out the land and its ok!   << ---  wtf!

Don't listen to propaganda peddled by racist plebs. I have to hear this kinda of misinformation every day by people white british people who are themselves on benefits.

I agree that the system's wrong and it needs changing. In this country you can get pretty much everything for free if you so wish to play the system.

lol yeah, I'm in the UK and you get those kind of racist morons everywhere, what they're saying is it's okay if you play the system as long as you're white, I'm getting sick of people who think they can ignore basic mathematics especially when I'm taking the time to learn it all properly. The best one is the government departments and public unions in this country, essentially their message is "Yes we agree that we need to make budget cuts to bring down the debt, no you can't do it to us" and they all say exactly the same thing which does actually make me feel sorry for the politicians in this country.

I am seriously considering denouncing my citizenship and moving to a country with a low tax rate.

Hahaha, good luck on that man. Maybe we can buy an island with bitcoins?
91  Other / Off-topic / Re: BTC as Presents??? on: December 27, 2013, 12:16:19 PM
I wonder if more people are likely to give away BTC because they feel its not real Fiat, like people in casinos that gamble because they dont see the chips in their hand as real fiat.

BTC trust fund thou i think is an idea i'll continue.

Fiat?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_money

A saving account in the UK isnt making a massive amount right now, at the current rate BTC is seeing a better raise than a savings account, even at a 15% increase over a year would be better than savings.

OHHHHHHH that makes so much more sense now. Thank you.

Well I get about a third of what you get. So I know how you feel. Still wondering would it be worth to try and bribe people who work there on weekends to get an access to it. Since that would be great!

Honestly, it might be worth a BOHICA xP

I'm willing to accept any coin as a Christmas gift! xP

As for everyone doing the BTC gifts, A LOT of folks this year seem to have done it. Maybe it's 'cause I just got into crypto currency, but it really does seem like they blew up as gifts.
