Sunday.
As I expected, no update on sunday. They didn't learn anything. After all the delays and promises I thought this time it would be different. Why the hell do you always promise things and never hold the timeline?

@giorgiomassa
what are your experiences with the update? What hashrate increase in percent could we expect under good conditions (18° Celsius room temperature for example)?
Are we after the update far away from the goal of 50% additional?

We are quite confident that within the end of the week it will be released As I know bitmine is not working on weekend and I'm sure on friday not working longer than 17:00 - 18:00. I would be surprised if the new update will be for download today. Giorgiomassa should be carefully with his announced timeframes, but hopefully he got it right this time!

Is anyone from bitmine looking inside this thread? Any news, firmware or updates about turbo mode?
Mails are not answerd, what a surprise!

cex.io - mining fee: currently ~29.67%
They keep nearly 1/3 of mining rewards for maintenance. Keep this in mind when buying hashingpower there!

Hello Bitmine!
Any updates? New firmware? Working "Turbo Mode"? Any news? Any information? Any any?
I would like to know how bitmine will compensate the not working turbo mode. "up to 50% additional hashing power" means, 50% extra power is reachable when conditions are good. Currently the turbo mode does not work at all except the consumption auf electricity ;-)
I have checked the "up to" description by a lawyer, he verifies my sight of view.
So bitmine, what now?

Any news about the "Turbo Mode"? New firmware or something else?

Anyone has experiences with "Turbo Mode"?
How much additional hashing power in percent does the turbo mode provide effectively (what does the pool tell you) at the moment?

Hello Some days ago i asked about when i'll be supposed to get my desk and my rig and i get an answer 5 days after.
On my order status it's written february week 5 and they say i'll get them at the end of april (week 18 of 2014)
So i'll wait for that.
If have shipping on march week 1, they told me delivery will be end of april too (week 18 of 2014).

Hi,
What's the status of turbo mode for the desks? Maybe anyone has already a machine and tried it?
- is turbo mode available? - is turbo mode permanent possible? - for 1TH/s normal mode, whats the actual hash power increase in turbo mode?
I don't get the whole turbo mode problem at all. Anyone can enlight me?

Maybe just a stupid stupid question.
My shipping date is "March 1 week".
So what exact date should I expect to be my shipping date?
01.03 or 08.03?
I dont find any definiton about first week in month. Does the week need to be completly in this month or is it enough that one day is in the month? I heared about both variants, nobody knows it really....

Having ordered a coindesk in december, I'm completly confused reading this thread.
- Is the turbomode working permanent and what hashrate increase can I expect? Maybe some lucky customer got the desk already delivered and can make a statement to this? - When did bitmine change (or not change) the CPP? - Is it true, that bitmine delivers PTMine currently ignoring the order queue? When has PTMine ordered?
It's the first time for my to have a machine ordered. I read lot of in countless threads, reading about desasters with BFL, Hashfast and all the other companies. I choosed Bitmine to order from, because of a european company, they promised in time delivery, they promised a turbo mode (up to 50%) and so on.

Hi,

Vielleicht bringt er dir was....

Guys, can you tell me whether my hashrates are OK? Im using cgminer that supports scrypt-jane algorithm. I've read somewhere on the internet, that scrypt-jane hashrate should be something like 75% of scrypt hashrate. In my case, it is not ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) . I'm not getting any HW errors at all. radeon 7970 265 kH/s (WU: 220 kH/s) -- scrypt-jane760 kH/s (WU: 690 kH/s) -- scrypt I have HD 7970 and a hashrate about ~300 KHs. I have slightly different parameters in config. thread-concurrency=18432 gpu-engine = 1100 gpu-memclock = 1625 intensity 13 (not 12!), no hw errors so far ;-) In general I can recommend the following steps to get good parameters for both, scrypt and scrypt jane: - Start cgminer without parameters, just pool information and add -I 13
- Stop cgminer, look at generated bin file and write down the numbers after tg, this is your new starting thread-concurrency value.
- Start cgminer with new thread-concurrency value and increase this value by 2048 until cgminer doen't start anymore. Than you have your perfect value.
- In cgminer start with default values for gpu (mem and engine).
- Increase gpu-memclock in values of 25 until system crashes, step back 25 and set this value as parameter for gpu-mem.
- So we have the max gpu-memclock value, start increasing engine speed by values of 10 (wait 20 -30 sec)
- Repeat increasing engine value until your hashrate drops siggnificant, decrease value until you find a spike in hashrate.
- Now we have thread-concurrency, engine and memclock set, now you can play with intensity and find a good value.
- You're done!
With theses steps I found scrypt jane hashrate ~300KHs and scrypt hashrate ~750KHs with Radeon HD 7970. Hopefully it can help you. Edit: I used patches from https://sites.google.com/site/rmdavidson/ and compiled a cgminer with the "ut" patch. Makes it much easier to find the needed values automatically.

Crazy, mining on cach.catcoin.cz and i got with 300 KHs only around 1 cachecoin per day for the last 5 days.
If I mine multicoins and trade them, I'm able to buy 1.5 cachecoins per day...
So for me its better to not mine the cachecoin to get more cachecoins...sounds crazy doesn't it?
Most the time it's more efficient to mine Whatevercoin than Bitcoin to get more btc - crazy? no! I was just surprised that a new coin after 2 months from release is so hard to mine. Thats all... I battled my linux for 2 days just to get the cgminer with scrypt-jane compiled. Having compiled the stuff, set it up and got running, it is a little bit disappointing that all the work just ended in the result to better mine something else. But I learned much about linux theses days ;-)
