I believe everyone is hoping for it. But i don't think so, lets hope that when they get interviewd they will at least mention DogeCoin. We need those dudes to win. if they win you know they would say something about the opportunity we gave them. I'm pretty positive that when the athletes that we funded are up, the commentators will be mentioning their past history and on to their present and how they got funded by the Dogecoin community. We will get some sort of media coverage come the Olympics. To what extent? We'll have to wait and see. |

There is no real market analogy between a finite coin and an infinitely produced coin. Rarity is a significant part of the equation.
DOGE is going to take 14-15 years to double its supply at 5% per year after it hits the initial 100B cap. That's... the year 2029? More than a "lifetime" in the crypto market... Crypto may not even be around by the time a doubling of supply happens - which lets be real, a doubling of supply over 14-15 years in the crypto market is so insignificant. This actually has more positives in the form of 1) possibly keeping miners on to support the network and 2) added long-term price stability. I'd be far more worried as to what would happen to DOGE if it all just stopped at 100B considering just how fast we are getting there. Also, BTC does not have a "finite supply" either - not as long as it can be mined. let me be clear,no matter how much time takes,people would kow that doge will be more and more and more but BTC not.so BTC is gold,doge just paper money,you print it.people always know that,that is called faith.why people buy BTC,because they know,there is only 21 million,never lose.why people buy doge?maybe it is funny,but another important reason is people thought it will be 100B.that is called faith.if you want it being joke,ok,that is joke,but you want people accept it as money,take it seriously the purpose of dogecoin is for wide use, to be shared and not hoarded like btc. Hello Shibes, I'd like to propose we take Dogecoin a step further with a more serious Dogecoin face/logo on the currency. I know no matter how silly we love to be, we have to take the proper steps if we want to truly reach the moon. One thing that crosses my mind over and over is the logo. It's great for the fun we are having now. But I don't believe it's a fit for moon territory. I don't want it to be a meme currency that dies off. I want a real adopted internet currency that eclipses all. That's why I'm here, and you should be too. We have to preserve what we have. We're doing absolutely fantastic so far and I just love this community flourish. I think this proposed Dogecoin face/logo posted below done up in adobe illustrator by a professional would rock the Doge market. It looks strong, it's appealing, it looks serious enough for the real world, and has some serious history in itself. Below is Armstrong, a true spirit who served, "ten winters as a sled dog—a Sirius record, twice as long as most dogs serve. Armstrong hauled a sled at least 25,000 miles, more than a lap around the Equator." What an amazing achievement. I think about him from time to time. I first learned about him on Reddit. He's got that look that he's seen more moons than you or me combined. Armstrong didn't just go around the moon. He went around the world. Lulz, it's going up again. We saw this same shtick a week or two ago, it was going down and the haters we're doing their "nyuk nyuk we told you so!" then it rallied back.
To me it is amazing that the community has managed to push back against the whales. Also if you think there is a future in ANY alt coin, you SHOULD support doge being successful because if a coin like this can be dumped and abandoned immediately with so much enthusiastic support behind it, then no other alt stands a chance at being anything more than a pump and dump.
go to bitcoinwisdom. put 1h or 2h interval. We are not going up, I don't know who you are going to fool but we haven't reached the bottom yet. The bottom might be 130sat, 100 or even down to 50. Time will tell. Ive said it before; this is clearly a downtrend, the market thinks the price is overvalued thus the slow and progressive downtrend. Also some whales are part of this and taking advantage of some smaller pump'n'dumps. Im just a small orca so Im partly using this to my advantage also. Maybe Ill come back investing in doge when it reaches its right price - and also if I can see a good reward or a bright future for doge. But shortterm (days to weeks) - there is no bright future in my opinion. There is no trust in dogecoin when its all manipulated, average joe is not intrested in participating with a currency that goes jojo. so what r u mining then? |

Not good for me. I didn't get even 1/5 what I was supposed to get. Scam pool? I was mining at 31.135.191.243:22550. Maybe I should try other one. What's your hashrate and how long did you mine for, and how many coins did you get ? 1450kh/s between two r9 280x. I mined 12 hours and I got less than 1000 doges with 7 transactions to my wallet. My rigs have been mining on different pools for the past few weeks. Rigs are identical and each of them is 3300khash/s. I've been monitoring pools on a daily basis and fast-pool and dogehouse came on top of the list, so I switched all rigs to those two pools. Last 3-4 days dogehouse is giving me around 23K/24h, while fast-pool never manage to go above 16K/24h. I saw a message about some "payout fix", but decided to move them away to dogehouse. Never tried any of the p2p pools. Good info, would you list all the pools you tried and the payouts? It would be nice to see a comparison to p2pools if possible. I have to choose a new one as soon as the new cards arrive. I never tried dogehouse but I did mine at fast-pool for a few weeks. It's a solid pool. I tried multipool.us and I don't think i'll ever go back. |
