mine works, even my rigs powered with conventional disks.
try nuking your chaindata and resync with --fast.
some of the block with malicious calculations refer back to previous blocks to crunch more data. limiting the bulk of old blocks to headers only curbs the amount of erroneous calculations needed to process (and sync) a block.
how to resync with --fast ? would you be so kind and give a step by step list ? In windows open cmd. Go to directory where your geth is Enter geth --fast I am not sure but you probably should start from zero so you should delete old chain data (blocks).. search for removedb ok thank you, i will try this and give feedback couse i think there are otheres with the same problem and for info me os is win7 geth mist 0.8.6 Thank you too, have also massive problems to get the mist client synced, will give it a try. |

They also can honor the old holders, use their funds, and do additional 50% ICO (maybe less %). They can increase a little total supply for this ICO. This could be not very good for us (but who knows) and certainly good for distribution.

I guess there was a little difference in two languages. Also in january there was "a new young guy" that already learnd 70% of the code... where did he vanished ? ... Go figure... But anyway, i can not believe that two years of work will be abandoned just like that. If Silk does not find other dev's, there is propably someone willing to buy the project with all the premine funds.  Do you know whether silkroad will sell the project? You need to split your eth from etc. Do some reading, before doing this, as you may sell both eth and etc at the same time. There are so many other worthless coins with better potential out there.
i believe hodl is still one the best coins with a great potential. it is just the thing that we have to have something beyond mining n dumping .. I'll give you a shot. Please explain in detail what the "potential" of this coin is. It's unique it's not just yet another exact copy of bitcoin. And also it is evolving. |

Athough this may be good publicity for Steemit in terms of usership, it is probably bad publicity for long-term investment, as people will see this as a dysfunctional and unfair design.
Perhaps it will eventually be associated the ills of the capitalist and central banking system that rewards the few rich at the detriment to the masses.
