Looks like an amazing "one stop shop" for all kinds of great tools and resources. Will definitely be checking this out in depth when I can devote the time.

First off, I'd like to say I love the idea. However... broken link:

Also, a question that relates to the above traffic questions. You currently have an Alexa of 2103015. Aside from SEO, what are your immediate plans to drive significant traffic?
84  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: $200 in BTC prize. What is bitcoin? How does it work? Writing contest on: April 26, 2014, 09:02:33 AM
Quote
Thank you to the one person who made a submission, unfortunately without others to judge against it is impossible to have a "contest" as the only reason we were offering such a high prize was to have access to choose from several submissions for the best one Vs. just paying a professional writer $100 to write 1 piece and publish it.

You're most welcome. For 0.2 BTC it's all yours:

Very interesting point regarding BB into a WordPress plugin (apologies if WP meant something else!)

Spot on!

Quote
I guess there's nothing stopping a free variant of this concept for small and or non profit use, it could be inserted into a small website widget

Actually I'm thinking a 'child' plugin; dependent on a 'parent' plugin via the applicable API. How big is the codebase, and do you think would it run fine on each individual end user's web host (i.e. HostGator et al)?

Quote
however I see potential hurdles occur with not the payment, but the processing of 'what next' if that makes sense, ie is a digital good then distributed, if so how would the plugin then behave in order to achieve this? As a standalone WP plugin this is potentially tricky.

Hence why I envision it as a child plugin that essentially becomes a WP addon plugin, specific to the parent plugin it was ported to.
Again, I humbly must confess I am no coder; albeit I do get the 'flow' of how these things work.

With your permission, I'd like to request a copy of your codebase under whatever licensing option you're most comfortable with. In return, I will help you establish the real-world, in-the-field preliminary test data you hunger for; provided WordPress Plugin Jedi extraordinaire, Pippin Williamson, attests to the practicality of embedding your seemingly kickass framework into a child plugin.

As luck would have it, Pippin also happens to be the founder of Easy Digital Downloads. EDD is the Industry Leader of digital product management / shopping cart systems. And it's not hard to see why it's so highly rated on WordPress.org. It's the only WP ecommerce plugin that I'll ever use. I am eagerly hoping that Pippin will see it as totally viable. That would be the Cat's Pajamas! Grin

What advantages (if any) do you offer over http://www.coinreporting.com/ or https://cryptfolio.com/?

RE: your open source question, quite honestly I'm at a fork in the road of how to proceed!

One possibility to strongly consider, is to approach BackBit in a similar manner to Open-Transactions. While OT was open sourced from the word go, it also has a commercial counterpart.

Quote
It would need a 'handler' developing, that's pretty much the keystone to the project given that the rest works on the already existing BitCoin feature-set.

What are the server requirements, and is it feasible to port BB into a stand-alone WP plugin?

multi coin payment is also quite easy to offer

Is this to say that adding additional altcoins would be (relatively) easy? Forgive me, as I am not a coder.

EDIT: Typos

This ought to give you warm fuzzy feeling about Cryptsy...  Shocked Huh Shocked

Pull back ASAP, and regroup via Kraken et al; sadly it won't help the bigger issue of how to proceed w/ PHS  Sad

93  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BackBit the bit at the back of bitcoin, digital delivery concept. on: April 16, 2014, 05:52:43 PM
So would BackBit indeed work as I envision it (as a real-time affiliate partner / multiple equity partner payment split)? If so, how close is BackBit to being deployable, and what would it require to deploy? I probably will have many more ?'s, as I see BackBit a truly innovative technology (assuming that I'm actually even understanding correctly).  Shocked

My most immediate use for it would be in a similar manner as PayPal's adaptive payments layer, except with altcoins; particularly in regard to how 'equity partner' / affiliate partner payment splits work. Am I even thinking rightly, concerning BackBit? Undecided

Took a quick peek... nice work on the update, manual's looking good! Later on this evening I'll give it a thorough read and make any applicable suggestions.

Was able to access no problem.  Cool It would be great if you could upload your new manual to the Archive, as well (when it's ready).

Correct. The link https://mega.co.nz/#!JUgmzaCQ!ix92mMdSOQ6h2s0kCe97hgFk2GsbogFv7tnxd8hv0VI redirects to https://mega.co.nz/?_escaped_fragment_=JUgmzaCQ!ix92mMdSOQ6h2s0kCe97hgFk2GsbogFv7tnxd8hv0VI#!JUgmzaCQ!ix92mMdSOQ6h2s0kCe97hgFk2GsbogFv7tnxd8hv0VI

Any chance of uploading the manual to the Archive? Thanks!

For whatever reason your documentation link is not working for me (tried several different points in time). Is there any chance you could upload it to an alternative repository such as the Internet Archive? Thanks for such a great trading terminal!
