Few coins in DigiByte, still hoping it will skyrocket someday.

They haven't moved up since their debut
I know but the dev team is still here it's great introduction for newbies as their 1st altcoin it's just too undervalued.

Just another scrypt clone imo

Dont forget NRS especially now price got dumped by a hacker yesterday. It will only go up from here

I doubt a hacked coin will rise much

Ginger, why do you care so much about how much does one put into their savings? This is a personal matter, and honestly, there is nothing for anyone to mind there.

Moreover, if you are interested into investition, mark my words and do it with essentially with Bitcoin.

Good luck!

Well, some people are more inclined to share their thoughts.

I tend to agree with Gingermod.  Some people may want to have others invest in the same coin as them and would love to spread the word about their investment.  I for one don't talk about everything I hold or want to hold but that is the beauty of being an individual.

Thanks m8 Wink

Talkcoin is undervalued right now. So i suppose talkcoin is a good one to invest.

I don't even see that into the top 100

Just curious where the community stands on this right now. Personally, I'm trying to diversify my portfolio so I would like your opinions of where the majority should go.

Put your money where your mouth is, post how much you have invested in each coin.

Right now I got 5k in Bitcoin and about 3.5k in Litecoin

It is kind of like drowning during the gold rush, you have to let go of some gold or else you'd have to go under with it.  Maybe this is the wrong forum to discuss.

If we take a look at the human population graph, it just absolute exploded.  The cause?  Fossil fuel, which is being depleted ultra fast, and other sources of energy is far far behind.  What goes up, must come down.

If fiat is doomed, so is bitcoin, and everything else that has become bubblicious.  Thoughts?

Other sources of energy are only 20 years away. Stop worrying.

I would think that anyone who knows a little about how the U. S. Government works would have guessed quite accurately when and how the auction would take place.   They must dispose of any property that they seize according to the law.  They had neither  the choice nor the motivation to keep the coins, trade with them, or sell them in a private deal.

Couldn't they just "destroy" them, as they do for illegal stuff like drugs ? (send them to a random address and not store the private key)

The fact that they sell them instead of destroying them has a strong meaning.

^the guvnment destroying drugs? *thats news to me! LOL =)

When I thought about this it seems stupid to destroy a large drug shipment. THey should really sell it back to the cartels for a discount over production costs. This way intercepting drugs would be profitable.

Yes they sell it back to the cartels so they can have more money to battle them.

Despite the downswing that we've being having, btc had held up significantly better than the rest of the coins. LTC has been a little slow lately. Even on the price rallies, they seem to be btc only...

Are you implying that alt coins even have a chance of competing with Bitcoin?
100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 15, 2014, 04:49:24 AM
Bitcoin cultists accusing religious people of being cultists? At least when it comes to religion, people are usually indoctrinated from birth and have massive social pressures (there are hardly people who convert). Now becoming a cultist of your own free will, that's something else.

Also, I don't think there is any disadvantage in investment being Muslim, what does it matter if he gets 0% instead of 1% interest? Nothing.

Free will is an illusion bro

You're an idiot
