Good luck with whatever you're doing there, mate. it is this thing called a 'wallet' for your coins. A while back i installed viacoin core on windows but it didnt work. I asked here and n o response, but others suggested to someone to just use vialectrum because it works and is quick. people also say dont leave your coins on exchanges. So I used vialectrum and it worked. But now it just doesnt connect so it is completely useless and a dodgy scam piece of shit, I dont have the the keys to my own safe so to speak, so yeah , fucking top work vialectrum, anyway, when I find you .. and I will find you , your family and your familys family for generations until the end of time will know the meaning of pain. Fucking brilliant community here by the way , fucking brilliant. My understanding is Vialectrum is a fork of Electrum as such you should have your seed and/or keys, if you lost those that is on you ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ yeah d_x is making a complete fool of himself. He didn't lose anything even if the vialectrum nodes are down for maintance. The community can setup vialectrumX servers too. As it actually should be. |

2 of the nodes have issues. It's getting fixed. It's for preparation of 3.0.5. (At this point, you should consider a Ledger unless you do something with multisig). |

Just upgraded Vialectrum to 3.0.5 due to the whole json rpc drama with electrum.
Binaries will be pushed out for windows & Mac too.
Fixing Viacoin atomic swap to Switch from RIPEMD160 to SHA256 secret hashes.
Also some testnet3 address encoding fixes for testing purposes before merging it to Decred codebase.

There are some rumors on calander sites that Core 0.15 would be released. This is false.
The new Roadmap will be released in 2018 Q1 and we aim to release Core 0.15 in 2018 Q1 or Q2.
But the roadmap will be exciting.

Another thing, I've been looking at is Bech32 adresses for $VIA All addresses will start with "via1" Reason for switching to an bech32 address format? ---- - Base58 needs a lot of space in QR codes, as it cannot use the alphanumeric mode.

Next time, make a bug report in github not bitcointalk.

Been waiting for electrum 3.0 It's a major upgrade, a switch to python 3. So vialectrum 3.0 will be in python 3 with Segwit addresses. I will probably recode it from scratch, testing will take a while. |

And what makes you think that? Have you read the new whitepaper? A lot of things are being developed at the moment: - New website. - New roadmap (release soon). - Core 0.15. - ATM Viacoin support. - + more. Please try to be a bit more constructive or refrain from posting  . nobody wants to buy Viacoin, I'm a little disappointed I have bought Via when it hyped and now i'm forced to sell them low. It's not been making any movement already 5 months even the price dropped once. so until now I do not believe in this coin Via Well buying the top is a skill too ! |
