hey guys, anybody speak chinese? I think we should try to get listed on http://www.btc38.com/ huuuuge exchange market for alt-coins ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) +1 Getting listed there would be a great move. I don't speak Chinese so not much help but we should def. focus on getting on a Chinese exchange next. maybe we should ask the devs to contact the guy who did the chinese translation of the original digibyte thread?? BTC38 only support coin/cny (Chinese Yuan). And you must use QQ account to login. And you should have China ID to verify your account. What I said is that BTC38 is not good enough for foreigners. But that can promote DGB. There will be more exchange for DGB. yes thats what i mean...there's a looot of chinese out there ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) DOGE has been accepted there just few days ago and the price has jumped up +1 This coin will be used world wide , so yes to the idea of having it on Btc38.com or/and any other world exchanges .

About BTC withdrawals and the malleability attack:
Our wallet contained 212 unconfirmed transactions that were pending for too long (outgoing). 66 of them were actually confirmed, but their tx id was mutated by an attacker exploiting the malleability issue. 146 of them failed because they were using invalid change inputs.
We checked the recieving addresses for amounts that were sent using inputs that we control. This way, we found users who are not affected even if they dont see a transaction with the originally provided id on the blockchain.
(66 people got their BTC but under a different transaction id, 146 people need a refund/resend)
Affected users will be refunded as soon as possible.
Thank you! I have to admit you guy's are doing great work .

MANDATORY WALLET UPGRADE NEEDS TO BE COMPLETE BY FEB 10TH 8PM KIMOTO GRAVITY WELL STOPS MULTIMINERS FROM LEAVING DIFF HIGH
Please spread the word! This update needs to be done by everyone in the community. Check the main post of this forum for directions. Downloads are in the first post as well as here. The community asked for this update to be done and we implemented it as fast as possible. This will prevent multiminers from leaving the network with a high diff after they mine Karmacoin, making it more fair for everyone. The actual algorithm will change at block 10,500 which we estimate to happen around or a little after Feb 10th. That is why the upgrades must be completed by Feb 10th for it to be successful. Note: If you happen to download this update after 12:30AM EST 2/10, you will also get a wallet that contains a fix which allows sending transactions of > 84M coins. THANKS Windows installation program: http://www.karmacoin.info/downloads/karmacoin-gravity-win32-setup (append .exe to this url- the forum does not allow the .exe hyperlink to show) Windows zip file only: http://www.karmacoin.info/downloads/karmacoin-gravity-win32.zipMac: http://www.karmacoin.info/downloads/karmacoin-gravity-qt.pkgLinux: http://www.karmacoin.info/downloads/karmacoin-gravity-amd64.debI receive the following error when trying to update: Unpacking karmacoin (from karmacoin-gravity-amd64.deb) ... dpkg: error processing karmacoin-gravity-amd64.deb (--install): trying to overwrite '/usr/bin/karmacoind', which is also in package karmacoincoin 0.8.6.2-0ubuntu dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe) Does the previous wallet need to be uninstalled before installing this? If so, do I simply replace the newly created wallet.dat file with my old one? Yes, backup the wallet.dat file, then run "sudo dpkg -r karmacoin", then install the new package. It should just work at that point and you won't even have to restore the wallet.dat file. Running linux mint 16 , getting same error when trying to install the updated wallet . when running "sudo dpkg -r karmacoin" I get : dpkg: warning: ignoring request to remove karmacoin which isn't installed the first wallet was install using the deb 64 wallet. try sudo dpkg -r karmacoincoin if the first version did not work Ty !! IT worked , I got the new version now ! Great work !

It's always nice to have have more then 1 exchange , But I will stick with coinmarket for now , Easy to navigate , no lag , can't ask for more!
O man ..here we go , whoever is pumping Digi plz stop , pump and dump should not be associated with this coin
Why not pumps are so exciting. Lets tear through all the walls and bring DGB to 300+ satoshi! lol , you know ! Some people are gonna get burned when dumped on and cry/hate Digi 4ever .

Does anyone know how to make a Digibyte papper wallet ? Need to put some aside for my kids college fund ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) I think all you have to do is go into the console (Help->Debug Window->Console) Then type in dumpprivkey If you type in help, it should give you a list of commands. Once you get your private key write it down on a piece of paper, along with a public address for depositing anymore DGB. You should also probably use a virtual machine to make the wallet so it doesn't end up being a copy of your wallet! From then on if you ever want to get the money on that wallet back, go in the console and type in importprivkey (Your Private Key Here), and it will load that paper wallet into your virtual wallet. Make sure it's on a clean computer or VM though, because I believe loading a private key onto a wallet you all ready have funds on will just overwrite everything on there. Can't confirm though, never tried. It's also a pretty good practice to backup your wallet constantly, by going to (File->Backup Wallet) in case anything goes wrong. You could always back up your wallet.dat onto a flash drive and store that somewhere it would be safe, but it just wouldn't feel the same as a paper wallet ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Hoped all that helps. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) EDIT: Just to clarify, any address under your "Receive coins" tab is what I mean by public address. It was probably obvious from the text, though. Thx..Will try that on a live disto

Can anyone explain to me these crazy buy orders on Cryptsy ? I know people won't ACTUALLY buy leaves for 200 satoshis but I'm quite baffled : what's the "strategy" behind it ? Guessing there is a strategy and it's not just an idiot... Artificially pumping the price ? Who'd fall for that ? xD
Watch and see how it's done , work of art lol.
