Hey guys I am at yosemite for a short vacation internet here is limited but I will update the thread in an hour when Inhave access to a laptop, sorry for disappearing for abit there.
So dev will coincidentally not be online for a couple days. Nice timing. Indeed. Whenever a dev disappears for "vacation", "hospital emergency illness", or other abrupt reasons within the first week or two of launching a coin, it spells disaster 99% of the time.

Is there somewhere or something we can report bot activity to? This bot is inching the sell orders down by 1 satoshi every 4 minutes, and is causing everyone else to lower their sell orders. Someone is playing games because they want cheaper Cinni when you panic sell. It seems as though everyone else realizes this, but for those of you that are still unsure - Cinni is still innovating. Hold your coins, and please let me know if you know of somewhere we can report this.
call the cops lol Bots are a part of every market in the world - NASDAQ, NYSE, etc. all have algorithmic trading, at much higher frequency.

New coin's dev not responding to my messages for adding my pool to the OP, so I post the one liner.
Banned for 14 days within 8 minutes of my post.
How sweet these moderators are.
Rules are rules.. complaining about them while you evade bans to post isn't going to do you any good.

There will be around 18m coins now? correct?
I would guess there will be a bit less than that, given the specs, but without a block explorer it isn't easy to track. There is an block explorer integrated in the wallet EDIT: i did the calculations there will be 17,4M coins 17414629 to be exact I mean an external one with some more enhanced features like displaying the number of PoS blocks vs. PoW blocks Are the devs planning on doing something about the increase in the premine percentage? As it stands, the premine percentage is now 33% higher than the claimed 2% because of the reduction in coins generated from the PoW period because of the inclusion of PoS blocks...

"Proof of Reserve" sounds like an interesting idea. Do you actually have an algorithmic implementation mechanism, or is this just a pure-PoS coin with a manual initial distribution? When do you anticipate publishing wallet source code? What sort of plans do you have to make it actually useful - vendors, commercial adoption, services, etc?

LTC has been missing BTC rallies lately and price falls with fall in BTC price , whatsoever , if it drops to less than $2, I will grab a few Picture the money being pumped into it by the ASIC manufacturers... When LTC fails there is going to be a fairly large domino effect on the market... As both BTC and LTC are currently falling, most altcoins will likely follow the same path for now unfortunately. The ones with real utility will rebound. If we're all lucky, the useless scams will die.

Moderation powers can be removed if abused, so I don't see any reason why BCX couldn't be added since so few others are willing to step in and mod the alt currencies board.

Adding mods for alt currencies would definitely help, especially with the new rules on spam/advertising.

I'm open to ideas for a higher rank. I feel like "Legend" is too grandiose a title to give to a living person, though. Any other ideas?
I also feel the same. Reposting the same thing that I said in another thread: Legendary rank should only be given to a few, like original devs that are still active on this forum. If ANYONE can get that rank, then it detracts away from its epicness. Maybe a more fitting term for ~1k activity would be Noble or Templar. I was looking forward to seeing what came next to top that. I'd like to suggest "Prophet" at activity 1566 to commemorate the death of Nostradamus. "Prophet" at 1566 isn't a bad idea. As a middle step between Legendary and that, activity 1337 could be Elite.

I can't believe. I bought ~20k at 10000 sat and now price is 4000. Fucking mintpal. I thought mintpal is good for CYC, but... The real problem here isn't "mintpal", but all the bagholders that were just waiting for the coin to get listed on Mintpal so they could try to sell at a high price. This coin has been around since April, after all.

I think people will be a little confused at first because this is a unique feature to crypto. A nice Step-by-Step guide on how to register a username will be great. Also, give tips to people on how to choose a great, username. Example: I think having your most used internet ID would be a great choice. Which is really easy for me, because i only have one! Surestrike. So i recommend people to choose user names people know you by. Really looking forward to the IONS. Definitely! Even better than a guide would be a video demo.. don't forget the beets though.

Dev maybe a logo contest and the winner will be decided by voting
Logo contests won't help the price of the coin, but a new logo is a necessity. The biggest thing altcoins can do to be successful is to get real world PR coverage. Are there any plans to do that?

You can build FPGAs for almost all existing altcoin algorithms. NIST5 and X11 both have had fully published chip/board designs for FPGAs for years, but there's zero real evidence that there are any commercially viable (aka cost effective) FPGAs actually mining. Whether it is worth the time or money to build them depends on the prevalence of an algorithm, and whether they are cost effective vs. GPUs.
The rise in network hashrates for X11 is primarily due to two factors: 1) GPU mining farms have moved from scrypt to X11, and 2) X11 GPU hashrates are becoming more optimized by the week (and are now ~5-6x scrypt hashrates.. so keep in mind that 6Gh X11 is really just 1Gh of scrypt GPU hashpower).

I'm bearish on Litecoin generally, but the serious recent drops are surprising even to me.

Do you have plans to release a whitepaper detailing the anonymous system you've created "from scratch"?

Rynomster is the lead dev of ShadowCoin. I dont understand why CinniCoin and him couldnt tell us upfront that he had left Cinni, instead of leading us on for weeks. But in any case, now you know where ShadowCoin is headed, and it's probably the opposite direction to Cinni.
Cinni was a great coin a few months ago, but development seems to have stagnated now especially with the loss of Rynomster and the features he was working on. What else is planned on the development roadmap to keep everyone interested?

Who can redesign a logo?
I'd be up for it. Do we wanna start a bounty ? Or maybe a contest? Competition is always a good way to get the creative juices flowing!

Anyway, this is X15,no asics. The big rigs limitation is a joke.If people use it,they have invested, and the will support the coin. With my 7950 it has no sence to even try mining, for the crumbs i would earn,i better go to some other coin,to know, what i can get.I would give it a chance,if i could try luck by solo, but this is solo unfriendly coin.
Limiting workers or hashrates will inevitably fail because people will just create multiple users. Especially with the coin already being X15, what's the purpose in that anyway?

Thanks to the mods for finally enacting a rule about advertising on threads. Hopefully we will see some of the other needed changes that have been discussed around here as well.
