81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Exploring Lucrative Crypto Earning Opportunities: Recommendations Needed!!! on: December 22, 2023, 08:05:22 PM
Hello Crypto enthusiasts, I don't know who's like me, always on the lookout for new ways to accumulate tokens and expand my digital asset portfolios. Having been in the blockchain space for a while, I know that various platforms, tasks, and projects have emerged, offering unique methods for acquiring tokens.

A lot more people are participating in initial coin offerings (ICOs) or token sales. They invest in up coming projects by purchasing tokens at discounted prices, often before they are listed on exchanges.

Another method employed is engaging in bounty campaigns. It's the one I need the most right now. Those campaigns that incentivize individuals to complete specific tasks to earn tokens. In the past, I've seen tasks that requires Participants to share project-related content on social media, write blog posts, create videos, or even contribute code to the project. These activities help promote the project while rewarding enthusiasts with token allocations.

Here's me making a request: Who knows a very rewarding campaign out there with good reward that I can take advantage of this holiday. P/S: I've explored the bounty section for some but here, I need recommendations for the ones you've personally tried that works. Thanking you..

84  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: CRYPTO EARNING OPPORTUNITIES THIS FESTIVE SEASON. on: December 14, 2023, 10:37:49 PM
Glad to see we are in the last month of the year's last quarter. Interestingly, this also marks the beginning of the festive season where we get to celebrate with loved ones and family.

As customary, there are often events hosted in commemoration of the Christmas celebration, where crypto enthusiasts can get to participate to win some rewards.

For us wey never buy Christmas clothe and Christmas rice, getting this kind event fit dey helpful. Abeg, make una share any of these festive season events/competitions wey una come across under here. I go drop the ones wey I come across too.
I think there are several opportunities here but sincerely na mostly gambling fit just easily do giveaway but you suppose know say nothing Dey free for this gambling industry Dey free because e Dey be like cult group wey go use hand give you something and later use two hand collect but nevertheless try Dey check the games and round thread atleast you fit Dey get better awoof for that side but also try to Dey use your head and no let selfishness and greed hold you.
Good luck but Incase you later get better offer no also forget to share with us here because me too like awoof

Senior man, you're not entirely right! There are many legit opportunities in the Crypto space wey you no go do any serious thing but you go chop giveaway. Some na as simple as make you retweet their tweet for twitter (that's the task, you help them gain exposure and publicity) but it didn't cost you anything na. Especially new Crypto project wet just dey try reach their main investors. They fit dey giveaway some tokens. Some na just make you join their Community. One day you go meet person wet chop giveaway sha. That will change your perspective.

If you have any free earning opportunities why do you hod it instead of sharing them in the OP. I was curious when i started reading to see what you would shared at first but i was totally cut off. However, am still expecting it  Wink, Dont wait for others to share theirs before you do. Thats is not the right way to do things. Since you have started this topic we expect your contributions first. Thank you.

I dey tell you. Some title will make you feel you're about to make it in life and then you'll realize na long thing. OP share what you have let's see. Although there are Airdrop events and bounty happening in this space. it's getting the information on time that's the real thing. I missed JTO airdrop. The most painful one was TIP. I followed people to comment tip everywhere but didn't read the instructions on how to connect my account and enter for the reward. Some Exchanges are realiable in bringing rewarding events during festive seasons like this. Last year, I joined Binance Christmas Advant Calendar event. This year, I've seen Africa Christmas Trading Competition that's ongoing & hosted by Bitget. I'm trying to Participate.

Abeg you fit shed more light about the Christmas event for Bitget? If the participation process no too hard I no go mind participate o.

How can one participate in it bro/sis ?

It's just to register with the event link and hold at least 30 USDT balance in your account on the exchange to participate in the competition. The least person fit win like $100 that's 200 BGB (the exchange native token). My joining is because aside the Overall winner, 30 other runner ups opportunities are made available.
Just Google it: Bitget Africa Christmas Trading Competition.  You should find the event link.

I never see person win money for all this show instead you will still pay money to play and if you're not lucky you might not win any Price, I no dey believe in free thing nothing even dey free again for this life talkless of free money or gift this festive season, even if free gift come do you think they will invite you without paying for ticket.
Na because of all this mindset of free money na people dey fall into the hands of scammers, for me personally I never see any event like that this year

Shaa E be like una no too dey follow the Airdrop farming things. I don chop giveaway until Like, retweet and comment on Twitter post before o. The fear of scammers fit make u no try some of this opportunities for this Crypto space. The fact say scammers full ground mean say good one dey seriously. Come twitter na.

88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it advisable to invest in JITO (JTO)? on: December 09, 2023, 10:40:23 PM

Do you think these amount of stakers and TVL are enough to have governance token airdrop? And is it advisable to invest in this coin?
Honestly, this is the first time I've heard about the project. However, after looking at the coin market cap and seeing that it has been listed on several top exchanges, this is quite interesting. https://coinmarketcap.com/id/currencies/jito/ I'm not sure yet whether this is the same as other projects where they will experience a significant bullish period after listing but will eventually drop back and no longer want to go up as they just don't. maybe this is just hype and due to the influence of fomo or this project is really good and has potential in the future. But at least it seems like Jito's trading volume is quite good, because it is very large, even though it is experiencing a slight decline at the moment.

Personally, I'm not interested in this kind of project. maybe because I haven't analyzed it in depth and I prefer to invest in old coin projects that already have fairly strong fundamentals

Exactly right! That's the link you've got. The market is still bullish, and it appears that those who received the airdrop and quickly sold may now be regretting their decision. I did a quick check and found among KuCoin, Binance who also listed it, I found Bitget offering a substantial prize pool of $4,000 worth of JTO for their event from Dec 7th to Dec 14th (UTC), Seem we have a little more time. Users who deposit or trade at least $50 worth of JTO will receive a 10% rebate from the prize pool. Additionally, those who deposit or trade $100 and above will also receive their share of the prize pool. There is also another category specifically for those who stake Sol. This is one of their event articles I found https://www.bitget.com/support/articles/12560603801812
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it advisable to invest in JITO (JTO)? on: December 09, 2023, 08:07:57 PM
Not financial advice. People have received $10,000 worth of JITO coins as rewards for staking Solana. Therefore, it's not advisable to buy at this stage. People are currently selling their free coins, so prices may decline further. JITO is a promising investment, but it's recommended to wait for the opportune moment to buy. When the selling pressure subsides, consider purchasing in smaller increments.

Where's that done precisely? I have a sizeable bag of sol and if staking a few can attract more JTO in return. Won't be a bad idea to try. Or who thinks otherwise?
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it advisable to invest in JITO (JTO)? on: December 09, 2023, 05:26:08 PM
...And is it advisable to invest in this coin?

How much it is advisable to invest your money in this coin, we will be able to find out only after some time. But I would refrain from buying a coin that has grown by 8000%. Of course, the price could continue to rise, but I think the price will have to correct after such a pump. That's when it will be possible to consider buying a JTO.
considering that there are many that also got from airdrop, expect the coin to have some waves of dumps, it seems the airdrop rewards was quite good as well that I think it might affect the price for people that just trying to invest, but if someone observe the market of JITO from the time it got listed if they entry at the price point of $1 they already make so much profit considering that I was also there when it hits $1 due to people instantly dumping the coins, nevertheless the airdrop was indeed crazy just staking few grand and you got 50 grand for free, definitely looking forward to some other similar airdrop in the future.
but if i were to invest, i would never invest in these coin with so much airdrop rewards at initial phase, need to wait until people dumps the coin then it will be safer to invest.

There's been speculation of JTO price going up. Maybe people who got the airdrop or asking where to stake or trying to accumulate more. There's still Platforms with huge reward pool for users who trade on their Platform. I'm watcing to see it follow after pyth and Tia
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AN OVERVIEW OF GAMING PROJECTS. on: December 03, 2023, 08:38:27 PM
Being a staunch enthusiast of the gaming crypto ecosystem, I'm often inclined to new gaming projects with good usecases and tokenomics. Personally, I feel they've perceived potential for considerable growth. I've been doing some research and I feel I must have missed out on a few. Please, if you've any on your radar, do well to recommend so I can add to my watchlist, Thanks.

You claimed you have looked into some of these Games, but you failed to list those you have on your radar but looking for new ones, if you want to do your research on Gamefi bucket I will advise you go to Coinmarketcap or Coingecko, click the category button and click the Gamefi buttons so many under the radar projects, look for those that the team is still active and work on releasing updates on their projects or those that received huge VC money then but are currently undervalued below their ICO price.

Rightly said! What I expected of the title "overview".
I would have loved to start by mentioning BigTime. Someone else already did that. Their Platform seem to have gotten the much needed exposure. Others on my watchlist includes:
Voxies ($VOXEL)
Myria ($MYRIA)
Nakamoto Games ($NAKA)
GAMEE ($GMEE)
The project team are still active in their communities.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Buying old ETH addresses on: November 26, 2023, 04:03:01 PM
I don't, at any time, encourage the buying of old wallet addresses. Any wallet address that has more than one person in custody of the private key is a disaster in the waiting. When situations turn around, it will be premium tears as the losses will be massive.

Most times, it's not the fault of the person who sold it, it might be one of the approvals still active on the wallet, that alone can bring about vulnerabilities that will compromise one's funds

But I am still wondering why anyone would interested in buying an old wallet address. Or is there a business aide to it that's yet unknown? This reminds me of a time when we had people go round my community to buy a Particular old clock stating it had some gold palette.

I won't Encourage risking depositing your asset in a wallet you're aware someone else might still be in possession of the private key.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising altcoins? on: November 20, 2023, 01:37:00 PM
Ethereum (ETH),Binance Coin (BNB),XRP (XRP). how to choose how to distribute the interest on them?

Surfing on Twitter I found that bitget will list $PYTH a new oracle for Solana. Considering that the network is recovering very fast and in a good way it might be a good option

I came across something similar in their recent Announcement putting forth a huge prize pool to reward users who'll deposit or trade their $pyth on their cex. Could this be an indication pyth will be more massive that we currently think?
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solona Airdrop Season on: November 18, 2023, 09:57:03 PM
There was a time when people was thinking that Solona will not stay long and will end soon. Their network issues happened many times and in the bad days Solona price dumped below 10$. Solona team don't give up and worked hard and network becomes normal and price pumped 3x in short time. Now the most trending coin is Solona and price already trading about 60$. Not only price, all project on Solona network recovered.

Now many old dex on Solona are preparing airdrop for those users who used their dapp. We could get good airdrop for free if we ever used these dapps. My friends made lot of transaction in Solona chain and they are eligible for airdrop. I am creating this thread to share all information about good potential projects which can announce airdrop in future.

Here are two projects which already announced airdrop

The excitement to see the PYTH Network project come such a long way give bigger expectations for the proposed Airdrop on Nov. 20th. Just few days time, I've also read that a number of Exchanges like Bitget and others will be opening $PYTH trading same day of Airdrop distribution. All these will simply make this project more remarkable. The price prediction on listing is another discussion all together.

97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex was hacked (Security Breach Discussion) on: November 11, 2023, 06:52:45 AM
It appears that some cryptocurrency exchanges are viewing each other as competitors rather than business partners. This could make it difficult for them to work together to protect each other's interests in terms of security. For example, Bitget you mentioned above once partnered with COBO Superloop, an off-exchange digital asset custody provider, to ensure that their users' funds are safely stored offline. This could be an effective security measure that other exchanges could adopt, but it is unclear how they choose to operate differently.
Exchanges treat each other as competitors as that is exactly what they are, while an exchange getting hacked is bad for the credibility of this market as a whole, and it is not something we want to see, for a competitor exchange hearing about a rival exchange getting hacked is in fact a good news.

Since on the short term people will decide to avoid that exchange and they will have the chance to gain those clients, so exchanges do not have too much of a reason to support each other on their efforts to improve their security as a whole.

This is well explained. So all Exchanges mind their own business and if they care enough for the user's safety on their Platform, they'll on their own look for ways to boost their Exchange security. So I would say it's not wise waiting to be hacked before looking for white hackers to help see to getting funds back. Why not bankroll a number of them, as well as implement other optimized security techniques.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex was hacked (Security Breach Discussion) on: November 10, 2023, 11:29:07 PM
Well, guys, I guess a lot of you already know this. Poloniex, aka Justin Sun's own Exchange, suffered a hack of 60M+ USD, and they are offering a 5% Bounty (if there are any white hat hackers here or do you know an interested one, here is the official announcement https://x.com/Poloniex/status/1722956238160536049?s=20).
On the other hand, TRX and USDD do not seem to suffer any backlash from this news.

Topic Security Breach and Protection Layers. Do you think that Exchanges and DeFI need more development and investments here or is this just something we have to lay down our heads and deal with?

It was HTX last time and now another exchange has now been hit. I have always ask this question; tho, not on this platform, that " what are some exchanges doing right (Bitget, Kraken, MEXC and a few others) to stay free of these security exploit incidence? can't other exchanges collaborate with some of these exchanges to strengthen there security?

Despite the fact that I also feel collaboration and more investment in security could be the way forward,  white hat bonus payment should also be discouraged cos it's one of the reasons hacking have become a tradition in this crypto space.

It appears that some cryptocurrency exchanges are viewing each other as competitors rather than business partners. This could make it difficult for them to work together to protect each other's interests in terms of security. 99  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your take on CEX platforms integrating DEX capabilities like swapping? on: November 05, 2023, 08:33:59 PM
There are some places that are taking whatever features that people liked with DEX, but that doesn't mean that it's actually decentralized, plus not like we really need it to be like that neither, we are fine with as it is and shouldn't really approach it any differently.

I personally believe that the best thing we could do at this moment is to make sure that CEX we use will not scam us and take all our money and leave, there has been a lot of places like that, so do not invest into some small cap exchange just because it has your favorite new meme shit token, there are a lot of people who lost millions combined just because of things like that.

Real centralized exchanges, ones like coinbase, binance and so forth are real places that people like to keep their money in, and those places are much better than any decentralized exchange you can think of, it's really making a big deal out of the situation and should be used a lot more on the long run whenever you can.

Rightly said! Most Exchange users are comfortable keeping their funds in and using some of these existing CEX and following the recent news of Regulations and all, I think some are really trying hard to keep up to the expectation of the people in order to show their commitment to their users. I read of a particular CEX, I think Bitget in short secession making partnership with an off Exchange digital asset custody outfit, increased their user protection funds and updating their proof of reserve. They also along with Binance, coinbase and others are among the top cex that have implemented it. All these I feel are geared toward satisfying their users and making their Platform more attractive to investors. We shouldn't mind the bad elements in the space and ignore the efforts of the few commitment ones.

I don't know how this really killed Dogecoin, yeah but today I've witnessed one of the largest actions occurring on $TOKEN as soon as it got listed on Bitget hours ago. The fact that it's associated Floki entices me. It could be an opportunity to invest once the market undergoes a correction. I imagine their primary objective being to tokenize and simplify the process of bringing real-life assets onto the blockchain. A whopping 1 trillion plus assets prepared for transfer to the platform.
