81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Would you Like to See in a New Casino Site on: August 24, 2019, 01:00:35 PM
You could try to target a market of casual-players, rather than exclusively gamblers. I don't see a lot of casinos going this route, but if you offer free versions of your games, or design separate games it might make customer acquisition easier. You'd also have more data to update your games, fix bugs - especially if you offer cash rewards to the casual (free) players when they report a bug or issue.

Additionally, I did a search for "fair" and it doesn't appear anywhere in your post. Provably fair is an oldie, but a goodie.

It would certainly be unique if there were no restrictions on withdrawals.

The rest of the things you've mentioned are things I have seen before and wouldn't exactly call "new".

Sorry I forgot to add Provably Fair, and thanks for adding it. You surely made a good suggestion about adding casual players and I think worth looking into, to see if the economic benefit will be worth the resources, and efforts. I am thinking about it seriously.
82  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCDice.io - New dice site, fast rolls, instant withdrawals, invest on: August 24, 2019, 12:48:52 PM
Your site looks simple and minimalistic and clean. That's a huge plus! Your logo looks professional too. But what's with all these .io stuffs? You would do better with a better domain name on a good .com extension. Always consider what resonates with the users, not just what you think is good. nGTLDs such as .io doesn't resonate with users.

Over all, you have done a great job with the new site.

Congratulations on your new business!
83  Economy / Gambling discussion / What Would you Like to See in a New Casino Site on: August 24, 2019, 12:30:25 PM
I was wondering if there's any new thing you expects to see in a new Casino website that would make it truly unique? To me, it doesn't really matter if it's just a dice or multi casino platform. What I consider truly important is relationship with the customers/players. Not being shady, trying to game players with bogus Terms of Use. I also like proactive customer support and a platform run by knowledgeable operators.

Deposits, Bets and Withdrawals: I like instant deposit, doesn't matter if withdrawal is automatic as long as it is honored in a timely manner.

VIP: This seems pretty cool to me but not 100% necessary.

Support: Like I said, I like Casino site with proactive support. Live chat is a must to me if I am to use the platform. Although I may not use it, seeing it gives me a kind of assurance.

Prizes: This is neither Yes nor No to me

Games: Like I said, It could be one game or multiple games platform.

Auto-mode: Auto-mode with stop loss is cool to me too and will encourage players. I like cashout system.

Dice Speed: Slow-Medium speed dice.

These are popular features of current casino platforms. Do you think it's necessary to bring in new features or we should just limit it at these? Innovation is what drives every industry. So, I won't rule out the customer's desires. What are the features you always look out to see in a casino site that you would like to see in a new upcoming ones?

Thanks and feel free to say Hi to me in aanyway you can  Undecided

Interesting graphics. You made those designs on your own?
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Sold 2BTC at $3,000 and BTC Bumped to $10,000 on: August 24, 2019, 08:24:48 AM
I had a great opportunity to sell bitcoin when it hit 20000$ in 2017 but I missed it. But I hold it decease upto 3000 but I keep on holding it. Now it is around 10000$ and I hope it will reach 20000$ again. Still, then I will hold it.

Most of us had coins in our wallet when BTC hit $20,000 on December 2017. I sold some of my coins around $15K, but refrained from converting anymore to fiat when the prices rose further. I was hoping to sell some more at $25K and unfortunately that target was never realized. Then the prices went down too quickly and the exchange rate was down to around 8K in 3-4 months. I had to sell some of my coins at this level, as some unexpected expenses had to be taken care of. It may not be possible to wait for 2-3 years for all the users. Some of them may be having financial issues and they might be forced to sell their coins early.

You are not alone in this buddy. Most people missed the $20,000 peak price and never get it back because many have since sold at lesser prices. I believe Bitcoin will surpass 20k pretty soon but you don't have to wait for that time when there are bills to pay and problems to be solved with money.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: August 23, 2019, 05:51:32 PM
I dunno that betting on politics exceeds their profit on half a million dollars.
I hear rumors about betting on politics but I'm not that interested because of the betting itself manipulating the citizens. Just IMO.
I'm not sure if there was really a betting site for American politics.

Sure they do. I would have pocketed a $535,000 pure profit if I had followed through with my $5,000 bet at 108 Odds. Unfortunately I didn't because I was afraid Obama was gonna out rightly rig the election in favor of Hillary.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: August 23, 2019, 01:24:15 PM
I came here because the title is the topic that makes me curious.
I never bet on politics, I'm really confused about how to bet on politics

How does political betting work?
Are there really sites that provide political bets?
Are there any special countries related to this (politics)

I want to know about political gambling, can this really be profitable?

Politics used to be quite popular market in most betting platforms. It is based on political events such as elections, policies, resignations, impeachments, etc. Check through some popular betting sites, I think you will see some.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: August 23, 2019, 12:46:40 PM
Politics seems predictable most of the time but looks like few people actually bet on it. Example, you know Joe Bidden has probably 50% chance of winning the Democrats primary. What stops you from picking and betting on that? Do you bet on politics and what are your winning stats.

Some time around October 2016 after the Access Hollywood tape was released, a certain betting site gave 108 to Trump winning the election. I believed strongly that Trump was going to win despite everything thrown at him. I had $5,000 and wanted to pick the odd. Somehow, I didn't follow through. That could have given me over half a million dollars in winning.

How often do you bet on Politics? Any reason why most people don't really bet on Politics? Do you know any trusted betting site that offers good odds in American Politics?
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Humans Gamble since 3000BC, and Governments still try to ban on: August 23, 2019, 09:16:10 AM
Government would always claim they are banning gambling to protect it's citizens, and that is what it looks like at the surface. But the reality is that most Governments bans gambling to prevent the outflow of wealth from their country. Again, gambling can be addictive. So it's not farfetched for Government to legitimately claim they are banning gambling to protect their citizens from unwanted addiction.

But the reality is that human being will always find a way to gamble. After all, life itself is like a gamble.

That is quite remarkable. Do you factor in the time depreciation of money? $20,000 in 2017 is definitely not the same as $20,000 in 2020. Hopefully it gets to 20k quickly so that you can see and diversify your investment.
91  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WW3 About to start HK/China/U.N on: August 22, 2019, 09:21:15 PM
The US could never beat China. Just think how many Chinese restaurants there are in the US, and many of them probably employ military "sleepers". Another problem would the the electronics in the US weapons - isn't much of it Chinese? Then of course there is the problem of rare earths - the Chinese control that market, and the US needs a good supply of rare earths for its electronics and weapons.

There cant be any winners  in a wars between U.S, Russia and China. All 3 countries are too big and they have nuclear missiles, therefore even if someone of those 3  starts WW3, it wont end up well for anyone. These big countries having nukes keep this status quo.

I so much disagree with you that there can't be a winner. Even China and Russia knew for sure they are no match to the USA Military. Yes, they too have Nuclear Missiles but USA has stronger and more sophisticated Nuclear defense system. US Military budget is twice more than that of Russia and China combined. Most of the China's military hardware are just what they managed to steal from the USA over the 25years of international espionage made possible by the weak leadership of Bushes, Jimmy Carter, Clinton, and Obama.

Now, America is back and modernizing its military hardware. What China stole will soon be rendered obsolete. We didn't pull out of nuclear treaty for nothing, in fact, Russia and China are currently jittery. All the years of holding America down with one hand through some useless treaties, while developing their military with the other hand are over.

Any direct confrontation with the USA will lead to the end of China and Russia.

America is expert in Espionage, Cold Wars, and Open Confrontations. I don't see any country anywhere in the world as credible challenge. National pride may tell you differently but the reality is there's none.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two Thieves Caught on Tape Stealing Bitcoin ATM in the US on: August 22, 2019, 07:32:18 PM
What are they going to do with it? Not as if they will get a dime out of the ATM as everything is digital. What exactly is the purpose of the robbery?

Oh, surely the purpose is to take the cash in there.
93  Other / Politics & Society / The Democrats Have no Credible Candidate Yet on: August 22, 2019, 07:03:29 PM
I have watched all the Democratic Candidates with keen interest, trying to figure out if there is any serious contender who's capable of taking on Trump. Sadly, I have seen none. Not even close! All I see are confused set of crazy loons who doesn't even know what they are vying for. Some are so out of touch that they choose to go to Mexico to organize rallies.  Roll Eyes

Everyone of them focusing on Trump even though they haven't got close to winning their own party primary, let alone coming face to face with Trump.

Are we looking at the biggest Presidential election landslide in the history of America? Who do you think is capable of taking of Trump, it doesn't matter the party? Because it seems Trump conquers everything and anything that stands in his way.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining Bitcoin at a nuclear power station in Ukraine on: August 22, 2019, 06:37:57 PM
I don't see any stealing here. Only see people making good use of affordable clean energy to mine their Bitcoin. No one should act holier than thou in this matter as it could be that they are paying for the said energy. It takes government next to nothing to generate power compared to the how much money they charge users for it.

Again, it is the duty of the power authority or the power company to monitor the energy consumption and know who uses what. Nuclear power plant is complex but one of the cheapest sources of energy.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank account froze after selling btc (UK) on: August 22, 2019, 03:42:10 PM
These kinds of over zealousness is not good for the banking system. Funny enough, the real people that does money laundering knows exactly how to go about it without being detected. Sometimes, they are even being assisted by the same banks. Who is fooling who?

This is one of the reasons I am rooting for Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies to take the main stage. Enough of some pot belly bureaucrats trying to control everyone else's resources.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is by no Means a Japanese on: August 22, 2019, 02:56:41 PM
Does it matter what nationality it is Satoshi Nakamoto? I think that's one trivial thing, which even being known would mean nothing if someone wanted to discover the true identity of the Bitcoin inventor.

Language is something that can be learned very well, and maybe Satoshi is of Japanese origin, but he spent most of his life in UK or USA. Maybe that would be a logical explanation why some people think he is Japanese, and others dismiss it because of his proficiency in English.

One of the first associates who work with Satoshi Nakamoto says this about him :

Today, Satoshi's true identity has become a mystery. But at the time, I thought I was dealing with a young man of Japanese ancestry who was very smart and sincere.[/i][/u] I've had the good fortune to know many brilliant people over the course of my life, so I recognize the signs.

I personally respect Hal Finney opinion, and I think that only people who were close to Satoshi can give some good info about him, everything else is just speculation.

I think the quotation you mentioned just said a whole lot.

1. He is not a Japanese but "a young man of Japanese Ancestry" meaning he's likely a USA or UK citizen of Japanese descent.

2. He is a "young man" probably in his early thirties.

How such a young man was able to keep it together and keep away from the wealth and fame that could have come from his invention is a true testament to his character and virtue.  Funny, he may be somewhere reading all these stuffs we are making about him and laughing about it Grin
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is by no Means a Japanese on: August 22, 2019, 02:44:21 PM
I don't think he was a Japanese either, but for different reasons.

If he wants to hide his identity, he would naturally hide his nationality as well. Every piece of information he gives about his personal life can be linked together, reducing his chances to stay anonymous.

I don't understand why so many people are worried about who is Satoshi.

It really doesn't matter to me, and if one day someone appears providing some cryptography proof of his identity (like a signed message from the first coinbase tx), it would definitely be bad for bitcoin, because it would be a way to centralize it. Like Vitalik's blockchain.

I think he made a good decision by staying private for his own safety and for peace of mind. Imagine how many million times his name would have been mentioned, and how many times people would have been trying to sue him for one flimsy reasons or the other, just to try and extract some Bitcoin from him. That also added to the Bitcoin's credibility as it helps people see it as truly decentralized.
98  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blocked: The money transfer wars - Could bitcoin help? on: August 22, 2019, 07:07:44 AM
One thing strange about these regulations is that they never get to touch giants like Bet365. They are allowed to operate freely even in restricted markets.
99  Other / Meta / Re: Opinions on who to add to my trust list. on: August 22, 2019, 06:20:55 AM
Trust is earned not awarded. Let anyone you are going to add to your trust list earn your trust. It won't make sense to add someone to a trust list just because you saw one of their post and likes it. What if the post is someone else idea? Or copy and paste? Do you check the originality of those post?

To me, If I am to add someone in a trust list, I must have had a direct dealing with the person and sees how he handle matters, or see them deal with other people. Granted, you can judge someones competence trust worthiness by following his posts. But is has to be multiple posts showing a pattern of good judgements, not just one.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is by no Means a Japanese on: August 22, 2019, 05:51:26 AM
I strongly agree that Satoshi was probably not a Japanese but I strongly disagree that it was his strong command of English that proves this.

My English is not perfect but by the way neither is Satoshi's language. I respect him a lot but I do not see him as a perfect god with perfect english and perfect coding, I think he is outstanding but please.

You are right. His English is not perfect but it sounds more western. That's the point I was trying to make in the original post.
