84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone booked a hotel using bitcoin on: May 02, 2020, 02:12:07 PM
That will not be a great news in Africa. If they is a way you can convince the hotel manager to create a block chain account, and you send them Bitcoin. Direct them to a trusted exchange that will send it to their Bank account. You will be considered a big person and appreciated too. For teaching them something new. Bitcoin is negotiable. So long they will receive money into their Bank account.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What is new with the Ethereum 2.0 and beacon chain launch? on: May 01, 2020, 09:05:19 AM
I have few questions to ask about Ethereum 2.0 and beacon chains. What kind of currency is Ethereum 2.0 when it is launched. How will it help the nature of Ethereum and it's price, Also the beacon chains seems to be the block chain holding Eth2.0. Does this mean Ethereum will pull out from the block chain like Bitcoin and other currencies? Are they planning to stand aside and work their way up? Because from this article below I think Ethereum is moving away from POW to POS. Is it the best Idea? https://news.ethereum.cn/ethos-dev-beacon-chain/ please I need to know what's up with Ethereum thanks men.

Our president buhari is not giving us any palliatives, people don't eat well during this lockdown. From his last speech he said until the 4th of next month, people can start trading in the market in three states which is Lagos, Abuja and Benue. They will be no interstate traveling unless it's official. Deem fit do warebill of goods and food. From place like Aba to other Eastern states. Schools and churches are said to remain the same till further notice. Na wetin we the see for Nigeria. Country hard for people wey no de go market. Okada don the run for East now like normal. Them say make okada stop to run because them the carry people follow Forrest enter their state. So in Ebonyi state Governor David Umahi didn't want the status of his state to be different. So he stopped okada from running. But still they have recorded one case in the state. Who them wan blame again lol. So off recent I see say okada the move now and the normal time for the lockdown protocol na 8pm to 6am. Weldone Bros   @soldierwitlittlefaith

88  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just hit $8000 today and dropped right back on: April 29, 2020, 11:15:37 AM
We are in a time of crisis and trust me many small investors are looking for an opportunity where they can encash and don't loose money at the same time .

This is a dire situation thus everyone do needs money with the jobs being closed and bills piling up , therefore this situation was how it actually works and the slight spike might mean the halving is going to be a positive event for Bitcoins .

Yes definitely, when you say “small investors looking for an opportunity where they can encash" Do you mean Bitcoin got some investors that entrust on it and that they won't loose their money in the process? Can you please explain better.
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just hit $8000 today and dropped right back on: April 29, 2020, 11:03:21 AM
Something good happening right noe, from its lowest price of $3,900 for this year then it is now about 8,000 USD and if  you compared the difference we can say that it is around 4,000 USD which is really big, luckily even though we're still facing pandemic virus bitcoin still going up which is really good for us but still it is not stable because there are still times thst it goes down so for all the traders out there always be careful when doing so.

We cannot predict what will happen next because no one can predict the price of the bitcoin for next day, it always change day by day or seconds by seconds. There are many different perspective about the movement of bitcoin and we cannot tell which one is true.
I will keep holding my coins. Knowing that if it falls, it will surely rise again. Trading for now, is at owners risk. Nobody knows what the outcome will look like. I suggest that traders that cannot help it but trade, should start with a smaller amount then keep an eye on the price 24 hours a day.
90  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just hit $8000 today and dropped right back on: April 29, 2020, 11:00:02 AM
From the recent development recorded today about Bitcoin hitting $8000 and dropped back to 7000+, will it break through the $8000 or dump back to maybe 5k what is the prediction going to look like. Are we expecting it to Spike to 10k? What did you notice about this and what is your opinion towards this recent development? Cheers
It's really hard to know. Everyone will be giving their opinion and prediction at this point and all of time, there's always the predictions that are against to what we want to hear. But forget about them, what's important is that we've got to see $8000 again but we don't know what's next or if it will stay there for the time being or it will breakout again and go for the next higher level. We really don't know but anyway, welcome back for bitcoin @ $8000.  Smiley
for real we can't predict but as Bitcoin enthusiast we can sense when something good is at the corner. This year 2020 came with a pandemic and if Bitcoin is supposed to have a bad time it should have been this year. But it keeps moving further not minding the pandemic at hand. Getting to $8000 is a very good sign, besides Bitcoin halving is very close. Nobody is expecting Bitcoin to dump after the Halving, instead we are hoping for the moon at least $10,000 is not a bad score. For real Bitcoin is a surprise.

93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTOCURRENCY IN NORTH KOREA on: April 26, 2020, 05:41:36 PM
But recently some huge amount of bitcoin was transferred from Kim jong un Trezor wallet to coinbase about 6000Btc around hald a billion dollar. Nobody heard about that lately?
94  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Kim Jong Un The North Korea president trending on twitter on: April 21, 2020, 01:37:12 PM
Man this is hard.

Kim Jong Un is a bad person, there is no doubt about it.
I mean if your citizens hope you die, thats some serious hate!

We as outsiders don't really know whats going on in that country.

Im not the one wishing on anyones death but I doubt the country could get a worse leader than he really is...

They is a common saying, that if you wish for someone death, they will still leave again and longer. Men like Kim Jong Un may not just die easily. Regarding the responsibilities he has on his head. Maybe he is in a dip sleep
95  Other / Politics & Society / Kim Jong Un The North Korea president trending on twitter on: April 21, 2020, 12:41:08 PM
So many tweets about Kim Jong Un going to die and how the North Korean citizens will be very happy if he dies. Is very skeptical  how people will wish for their leader not to survive a failed medical surgery. A leader may be bad not to such extent of citizens wishing for his death, not in this bad state of the world. A country that losses its president now, will be in great danger. Because his successor may be worse than him. I urge North Koreans to wish for quick recovery of their president. Eventually if he recovers to all the tweets of citizens wishing for his death Grin will worsen the situation of the nation.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If we are to start from beginning. on: April 21, 2020, 12:20:56 PM
If we are to re start again from the beginning which seem very impossible, I will suggest we learn from what the pandemic is lecturing us about. That it knows no Color, whether black or white, it knows no continent. People have to stop the Racist thing and focus on being kind to humanity.
97  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Pls PRAY For ITALIAN's & Other Part Of The World on: April 21, 2020, 12:12:29 PM
Prayers or not, the best way is to get a cure for this virus and secondly is for one to maintain proper hygiene at home and place of work as well. Africa is included in the whole mess of Corona virus.

@Timmzzy, yes Africa is included now that the virus has gone VIRAL.

*Most people were ask to share their experience about the outbreak of this virus in Africa, surprising an average of those interviewed said they are more concern about  HUNGER-virus not Corona Virus as a result of the lock-down

I was thinking by now that there might be some kind of group donation of food, disinfectant product's... from bitcointalk forum to most countries in Africa. Such act in time of need might help more people to get to know about bitcoin & possibly get involve with btc trading after the emergency period.

Thanks
Soldierwitlittlefaith

I'm in Nigeria right now, we are not allowed to leave our homes from 7pm to 7am. No food has been given to citizens that stay at home, they are high rate of terrorist groups stealing from homes. The government have not shared the $60 funds they promised to her citizens. It is very hard here and the cases are increasing day after day. I think Africa is receiving it the way as usual.
98  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do during the lockdown on: April 21, 2020, 10:59:13 AM
The best thing to do is set up a site for food delivery. Target people in your area concerning your site, they can be making orders through your site. Then you can get a legit food site where you can be getting the food items delivered to you. Then you go drop it for the owner that really paid for that. So you are not only earning extra funds but my major concern will be on the traffic it will fetch to your site.

Did he fake his death? Satoshi is among the top 20 richest men in the world and also a public figure. But his real identity is just like what he created. I keep hearing bitcoin is dead, but every day, I see articles on social media about bitcoin. He is a genius.
