SWITCH YOUR MINERS TO jpc.hashatme.com
I just sent my 180M mining power to this pool. It works really great, fast and low rejection rate. No FEE
We need to make sure no one pool has 51% of network hash power before going to MintPal.
THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL. WE SHOULD DO IT.
Don't be lazy and selfish, it will destroy this great coin's value.
We want too see this pool's hash to 1G within 24 hours.
Hurry up !!
I just moved my hash from HashHarder to try HashAtMe for a few days. I saw AtomRigs at the top of the hash stats page. Come back one hour later and an Anonymous user has come along with 250Mh/s. Damn

Just be aware that solo-mining can pay off, but it has reached a point where sometimes luck of finding a block isn't going your way.
I have solo-mined JPC for quite a while, and there were days where with 6x 750ti cards I would find just one block. I once had a 48 hour period where I found only two blocks and one of them was orphaned.
It is not for those who will sit and watch the deposits, but you can make more money still it seems than the pools.
I am doing some testing on different pools right now collecting numbers to see possibly how big a difference there is... I am not so sure there is a big gap anymore.
I'd be interested in your results as I might try something similar over the next few days. I would be putting a few cards per pool and solo running simultaneously so that difficulty variance doesn't become a factor when comparing results. Is this how you are doing it? Or are you running all your cards at one pool for x amount of time before trying the next pool/solo?

1.77million JPC, that's a good 0.44btc at the current price of 25sat on AllCrypt.
|
|
|
Amph, That's right, if you over clock your 750ti, with ccminer you'll be able to hash around 4mhs. Thank the two Christians for that for jackpotcoin, how much one 750ti does? one guy said to me that it does 3M-4M, it seems too much..
that's crazy shit, almost double of one 280x Yep, and a LOT less wattage required as well

Btw diff is > 260 now, 5 times from 2 days ago. Goodbye profitable days Yeah, the difficulty is finally catching up with the price. As long as the price maintains or increases back to 30 to 40 sat then it's all good

Jackpot is X11 guys not sha-3 , check your pool From page one of this thread... Jackpot Hash Algorithm (JHA - a variation of SHA-3 algorithm)

I owned 30 million JPC a week ago and sold em for 2 Satoshis each, because I didn't expect this coin to go anywhere.
Christian
If there was enough buy support around that would have got you just under 12btc (with price at 40sat peak on AllCrypt)

I have been saying this for a week (but unfortunately I didn't mine JPC for a week... must admit the orphan rate can be large from time to time) I did some soloing again the other day and in the space of 24hrs around one third of the blocks I found were orphaned. I'm back to pool mining it now.

What is real actual Network hashrate? HashHarder is showing 33.530 GHs CloudMiners is showing 4.20 GHs MiningPoolHub - 0.01 GHs You can view the current net hash on the official block chain explorer... http://jackpotcoin.info/blockexplorer/

PoS is in fact solo mining!
Ok, but I have wallets for a number of other coins that are also PoS. I receive stake coins from them with only using the unlock button, from the menu command or in the debug window. The .conf files for those wallets also do not have the rpc and server settings in them. Maybe it's different for JPC.
|
|
|
I've had some coins in my unlcocked windows wallet since 19th of this month. Haven't received any stake yet. Why is that? I really hope the code doesn't have any problems.
rpcuser=, rpcpassword=, server= in your .conf file? Those 3 settings are related to solo mining.

If I could read every rage filled post, or every post in the last 700 pages, I would, but it's not really possible you know Go back just one page in thread and you will arrive here... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=167229.13920...it's even the top post too so you don't have to scroll. That's all you need to read

Ok thanks, I used --Compact which gives a display, but I cant see individual GPU's hash rate.
So.... remove the --Compact to see each card's speed then?
|
|
|
Wow, is this right? Tried intensity of 14 and getting over 3000 WU now 3.376 MHS
Temps at 45 C (30C lower than scrypt)
Like this!!
Yes, 3Mh/s+ is the expected speed from 290 cards. If you're running from a batch file then add pause at the end of the batch file like this... sgminer --kernel jackpotcoin -I 19 -o adr -u uname -p pwd pause That will stop the command window from closing after you quit manually or it crashes out.
|
|
|
I tried to mine this, and as soon as I ran it, it crashed my PC.
Running 2 x R9 290....
Wish I could just use CGminer.
Anyone help with the config?
With the Jackpot modified Sgminer from the 1st page, all you need is... --kernel jackpotcoin -I [intensity value] -o adr -u uname -p pwd There's no need for threadconcurrency, lookupgap, queue etc. If even a low intensity like 10 still causes lockups then take off any overclock on the GPUs for now. It doesn't matter if your OC works 1000000% mining other coins, just disable temporarily and test.

Whoa, only 2hrs ago it was sitting comfortably at 4sat and now it's at 10. Hope there weren't too many people disappointed at setting their sell at 6 or 5 sat

any good new nods? i am gettting out of sync very often lately with the nods mentioned on the first page. thx
I'm using the exact same conf file as on the first page and my wallet is always in sync. You have the .conf file in the same folder as the wallet.dat file yes?
