It generally comes from people mining with the wrong algo, probably X11 lol. Trying to make the instructions a bit clearer now.

I have a problem with a transaction! I sent 100k coins and got 11 confirms so far, but they seem to be lost. the transaction id looks weired:

blockhash: 756950803eadf791fac355a4e1a48b7b9bea39e1f39e6367fa956c05a5ab97af
tx: bb99660a77b4fdf08f5e10e922bfcfd7c655aa38e241bb33fb3b639b490e6c1b

I saw that in this block hash, also a few other transactions are corrupted. Is there a problem with the blockchain? How can I redeem my 100k?

bump! still missing my 100k coins!

still un-answered: is there a problem with the blockchain? how is this possible? why are there faulty transactions in the block? I'm really worried here, and I'm not going to transfer any coins anymore until this is answered.

backup your wallet and re-download the blockchain...are they unconfirmed and/or greyed out? Or are they just not appearing to your wallet at all? Either way just redownload blockchain...you can also try these commands in the debug window..maybe try these first before re-downloading blockchain..... gettransaction and resendtx

so in debug window type:

gettransaction bb99660a77b4fdf08f5e10e922bfcfd7c655aa38e241bb33fb3b639b490e6c1b

and try typing this;

resendtx bb99660a77b4fdf08f5e10e922bfcfd7c655aa38e241bb33fb3b639b490e6c1b

I tried resending the transaction, but nothing happened. Do you really think re-downloading the blockchain would fix that? I can see my transaction id in the block:

http://jackpotcoin.info/blockexplorer/index.php?block_hash=756950803eadf791fac355a4e1a48b7b9bea39e1f39e6367fa956c05a5ab97af

so it's broadcastet. But as you can see, there are 7 transactions in this block, and three of them look defect (mine + two others). So this might be a problem with the transactions broadcasted via PoS blocks.

sorry man, this is beyond the scope of my abilities...You might as well try to redownload the blockchain but make sure to back up your wallet first ! Good luck, maybe someone else can chirp in?

ok, this is the status so far:

1. my client was frozen some 1000 blocks behind
2. i deleted everything except for the wallet.dat & .conf file
3. re-downloaded the blockchain
4. 85% of my coins were missing after that, but i was on the correct block
5. I re-startet the wallet with -salvagewallet
6. all my coins seem to be back, but the 100k are still not appearing on the other wallet where i sent it too
7. my tx is unknown to my wallet now
8. the blockhash is now unknown to my wallet
9. i get another blockhash for the block#

This all seems pretty strange to me. I can't tell if my 100k are back in my wallet or if they are lost in the blockchain!

-repairwallet did not change anything. however, I just saw that the transactions in the mentioned block which looked good, are linked to another block now. And my client correctly retrieves the hash for that block.
The question is, what happend with my transaction and my 100k coins? Using listtransactions, I can't find the transaction anymore -.-
