81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of bounty hunters on: November 16, 2020, 07:08:11 AM
It's not easy to become a bounty hunter, to enjoy bounty hunting you must be willing to work for free and not take things too serious because some times you won't get anything in return
In doing our job, we should take it seriously if we won't to suffer the consequences of neglect. Like when we join bounty and fill form.
But, we mustn't take serious to count bounty reward before the bounty end. Because not all bounty rewards is same when its distribution.
Good point and also not all projects we promote will become successful, once there is a problem with fund raising there will be some draw back, the team might even decide to pay half of the bounty allocation instead, bounties can't be relied on until it ends and you see it's end results
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UPS AND DOWNS IN BOUNTY ACTIVITIES on: November 15, 2020, 06:57:37 AM

My suggestion, build your knowledge and move to the services section for quality campaigns
the altcoin bounty section is highly unpredictable.

I like to move but with my current account my only option is to stay here in the altcoin bounty section, those campaigns are only for high-rank members, the only campaign that accepts low rank are Bitvest and 777Coin, although the pay is good, I till prefer to take a risk on altcoin bounty even though there are uncertainty.
I kinda like taking risks with altcoin paying bounties because once they are successful the reward will be insane, do you remember DIA? Jr members are able to earn up to 250$ and members are able to earn over 350$, with this ranks a btc paying campaign can never pay that much, this is why I prefer taking risks with altcoin bounties
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Tether (USDT) be really called decentralized cryptocurrency? on: November 15, 2020, 06:54:16 AM
The first sentence in the white paper of Tether (USDT) says the following. A digital token backed by fiat currency provides individuals and organizations with a
robust and decentralized method of exchanging value while using a familiar accounting unit.

Now don't get me wrong. I use USDT a lot, in fact I love it. The fixed price of $1 while being a cryptocurrency makes crypto transactions for purchasing services easy and beautiful.

But I keep thinking of how original paper money was created. In history we had gold for trading. Then gold became inconvenient so bankers offered to hold gold for paper that verifies how much gold is owed to customers. Then this paper became more convenient and was used instead of gold with the trust that its backed by gold. Then this paper a long time later became a currency that isn't backed by gold anymore.

Could the same happen with USDT. If everyone decided to claim original $$$ with their USDT, would Tether Limited issue it all making the price worthless?

Anyway the point I am trying to make is that Tether (USDT) is centralized around the Tether Limited's will to keep it going. This company is basically like a bank too.
USDT is a full 100% centralized stable coin and that can't be denied, USDT is pegged by 1:1 Dollar and it works very well, don't let the decentralized confuse you if that truly appears in USDT whitepaper, Tether is a centralized company and they can't deny that USDT is true centralized digital USD
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: November 14, 2020, 08:21:31 AM
it's hard to avoid bounty fraud they have all the great ways to scam bounty hunters such as cut allocations, locking tokens or not paying at all
most scams will occur when the bounty has been completed So the solution to this problem is Escrow if the bounty manager dares to set up an escrow system certainly will avoid bounty fraud
All we can do is try since we can't predict how a project team will behave after bounty ends, not all new projects team will decide not to pay bounty hunters, few still cares about their project and reputation, they will try to avoid any bad credibility
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: November 14, 2020, 08:19:49 AM
There is no reason for scammers to quit crypto space for now since many new ideas to scam newbies or even old crypto users can come up at any time, everything on here is opportunities, DeFi hype brings up many scam DeFi projects, scammers are always waiting for new opportunities, they won't quit.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin continues the positive trend today, is the altcoin market in trouble? on: November 13, 2020, 08:10:36 AM
Altcoin market is not in any trouble, if bitcoin is surging and altcoins are falling it's because Bitcoin dominance keeps surging too, it's normal to see altcoins dumping or not reacting to bitcoin Bullrun but for how long? Very soon altcoins will become bullish themselves
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be very cautious with your alts this period, you either sell early or hold. on: November 13, 2020, 08:08:38 AM
Those who have been in crypto industry for a long time already know how and when to sell their altcoins off. Dump times means an opportunity to buy more but newbies or even some were regretting after selling their altcoins because they were carried away by panic selling.

A wise altcoin holder will make a target profit and a target price before selling their altcoins, if not, holding it one of the alternative way to still make.
I can't blame the panic sellers, I've been investing on crypto projects for a long time before knowing about this forum, majority of the time s and coins I invested on turned scam and dumped massively, I'm able to recover right now because I decided to keep taking profits, every thing about crypto is timing so now that Bitcoin bull season is back it's not too late to start buying altcoins
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi project like game pump and dump on: November 12, 2020, 07:56:16 AM
Not all DeFi projects are pump and dump, you need to do research and find real use case that are worth investing money on, take a look at chainlink use case to compare with many new DeFi projects today, don't be fooled with fake use case that aren't real but built on empty promises only
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cloud storage isn't safe place for your wallet keys on: November 12, 2020, 07:53:22 AM
Some new crypto comers still repeat such mistakes and they go around on the web to open websites accounts with same password as their gmail, these websites now use the passwords they drop to try out their gmail account, the trust is gmail accounts can easily be jailbreak this days, it's safer to keep keys from any online source or storage
90  Other / Archival / Re: DeFi hyip is over? on: November 11, 2020, 06:40:07 AM
It's not over for DeFi projects yet, thanks to DeFi hype some investors like myself are able to make huge ROI this year so far, now bitcoin is bringing back a new opportunity once again, it's movement now very comparable to that of 2017, soon altcoins will start surging too, hold your seat tight
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are new to crypto this is for you on: November 11, 2020, 06:37:24 AM
Someone have to do this from time to time, I believe that many newbies are still victims to scam projects till this days, we gotta keep warning them, not all can be safe but as for those who want to learn, here you go

1. Learn to control your greed
2. Money making should come last, learning is the first thing to do
3. Do research on exchanges as there are many bad eggs among the good exchanges
4. Follow the crypto investment rule, don't invest more than you can afford to lose
5. Don't put all your eggs in one basket, diversity is the way of winners in crypto space

All the best.
Bad exchanges like p2pb2b have fooled few developers who knew too small information about crypto exchanges, some ranking websites still ranks p2pb2b exchange as a top exchange, so misleading, developers need to smart up and avoid exchanges like

1. P2PB2B
2. Exmarket
3. Latoken
4. Tokpie
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects can still deliver on: November 11, 2020, 06:35:13 AM
New projects still have a place in crypto space, developers haven't run out of ideas yet, let's keep giving new projects chances cos some still deserve it, learn to do research on new projects to avoid scam projects, you can also compare projects like Avalanche or Polkadot to others, it's very easily to know how promising these projects are compare to scam projects
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need more decentralized stablecoins on: November 10, 2020, 06:48:49 AM
Aren't there more decentralized stable coins in crypto space already? There are many categories to choose from e.g

1. Elastic supply stable coins
2. Self collateralized stable coins
3. Collateralized debt positions stable coins
4. Bond redemption stable coins
5. Collateral redemption stable coins

Enough is enough
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap has made it easier for scammers? on: November 09, 2020, 07:10:41 AM
There is no crime in finding answers to everything you want to do or have desire for, i believe information is what makes the web the best place to get answers, use the web for it's purpose, don't blindly do things without any knowledge, don't be like those who like earning first and learning later, they only learn when they make grave mistakes
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some ways to earn USD on Binance don't need to be traded! on: November 09, 2020, 07:07:30 AM
I prefer trading on binance instead of staking, there are few staking altcoins that are now down in value, I don't know if they will recover, if I have to stake then I will stake coins that aren't volatility like USDT or BUSD, trade or invest on IEO
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Circulate Finance, the first lending protocol on TRON on: November 09, 2020, 07:04:18 AM
You are just trying to add credibility to the project because this project isn't the first lending protocol on Tron network, there are few others, how about Cred? Cred is the leading crypto borrowing and lending provider, they announced a partnership with TRON in 2019 to allow TRX holders to earn up to 10% annual interest. And I still believe that Cred isn't the only one as well
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find out about new projects? on: November 08, 2020, 08:40:55 AM
Hi everyone, I mostly participate in public token sales, so I need to know about the start of sales as early as possible to prepare. I wonder how you learn about new projects? I am particularly interested in how people learn about projects that only have a discord channel. Or do you follow the investment of any funds? Maybe there are some informational subreddits? Let's share useful sources!

Here is my list which makes it easier for me to find:

1 - CryptoDiffer - The list is not very relevant, some projects have already undergone public sale of tokens.

https://twitter.com/CryptoDiffer

2 - ICO Analytics - News and analysis channel.
https://t.me/ico_analytic
https://twitter.com/ICO_Analytics

3 - Generation Crypto - News and analysis channel.
https://t.me/Generation_Crypto

4 - Site Polka Project - Allows you to track new projects projects related to Polkadot system.
https://polkaproject.com/

5 - Cryptodaku

6 - ICO Drops
https://t.me/icodrops
https://icodrops.com/

7 - CryptoRank News
https://t.me/CryptoRankNews

8 -  Top 7 ICO

Do your own research very well before investing on a new project, I don't trust projects listed on ICO websites and sources like ICOdrops and few others, just because they are listed on the websites doesn't mean they are for real, most of them are scam projects, DYOR
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Folgory Exchange Bounty on: November 08, 2020, 08:37:07 AM
I was scammed 2 Eth from this exchange on May 15th 2020. I cannot pass the KYC and withdraw the funds, and was blocked from interacting with customer support.

https://etherscan.io/tx/0x32210daecd07fa0ffc2bc0130381e27fd52eb3474ed3ae5998c7dfba058b29ae

Can someone put a bounty on this exchange? It's destroying the space. I'd love to see this thing get hacked.
They've successfully scammed you, what bounty are you planning to put on the scam exchange? You will be paying more than you lose to track down the scam artists and there is no guarantee that they will be caught, all you have to do is to learn from your mistake and make sure you stick with popular exchanges from now on
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: November 07, 2020, 09:02:06 AM
USDT have earned enough trust since they launch in crypto space, there is nothing to worry about, almost all top exchanges on crypto space accepts and support USDT more than any other stable coins, only scammers should fear USDT because they can freeze stolen funds
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: November 07, 2020, 08:50:33 AM
I though new projects brings the highest profits, if you don't give them a chance how will you get good rewards? It's same thing for new bounty managers, just because they are new doesn't mean they are useless or they are promoting scam projects, it's your job to find out if they are real or scam in disguise
