81  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell? on: May 26, 2024, 09:34:29 AM
I doubt that your numbers for traders versus investors are correct with any level of precision (in other words you are making up numbers to make your claims sound good, even if your numbers might have some truth to them), yet even if we agree that a lot of people treat bitcoin as a trade rather than as an investment, I doubt that it is a good idea to promote such dumbness as if it is a good thing to do, especially since many of us already recognize and appreciate that bitcoin remains amongst the best, if not the best investment available to anyone on a world-wide basis, so if you happen to know that kind of information, then why would it be a good idea to encourage trading it (or gambling with it, rather than more sound practices), merely because potentially a lot of folks are doing that.  Pretty weak logic there Hamza2424.

Hmm Yup, the number is random and based on my assumptions to put some weight in the Observation, so can say that logic is pretty much weak what I wanted to portray is that most people do invest their money for the long run but after experiencing the market pressure in bear run they use to get out in sense of saving profit and such people can't be considered as long term investors or even investor they'll fall in the category of traders because they cant hold patience on the profit and future potential. So they sort of compromise on saving profits as traders do.

__SNIP__

For the rest, JJG, I would say people are greedy, they love to gamble in blind trade with Bitcoin on someone's suggestion or listening from someone that he made a lot of money from Bitcoin they don't look into the depth, they just jump in, and such people when they are in profit cant resist their greed level and its natural if you are in 50% to 80% in profit on your investment and your only motive is to make fast money you'll book and get out of it. people are rare and have a strong investment mindset.

Haha, anyway this is the quote that has been pending for a long time, I've got some time today and made my comment on it.
82  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading and not something else? on: May 25, 2024, 08:03:18 PM
Hmm, So many questions from OP anyway these are the most recurrent questions we encounter every day while having discussions so putting the light to it won't be a big deal, you OP, The idea of trading is self-granted while exploring this market comes to know with a good capital we can stand in this market and trade to earn livings. Well, I am not a strict active trader as a student I need to deal many things.

So coming to the next point why trade, not something else, because now in my case I have familiarity with this market and have some tiny skills and knowledge with experience through different sources and an active touch with the market so it will be less efforting to trade for mee while on any other skill, I need to first learn then master then arrange different things and then a start so trading is a quick start for me, not for everyone so that's why I decided to trade timely.

Stick a day trade? nope, I don't follow it I belive in saving the wicket concept, saving the capital waiting for the best ball, and hitting a six, or 4 at least hitting every ball no gain is really disappointing and it helps in managing risk as well.

Those pizza pictures look AI generated to me.
Why do you want to spoil a fun contest?
I am happy to be proven wrong by the way,  posting pictures of those pizzas in the making.
Something That would be requested by the rules, anyway.
Not to mention other rules you broke posting here, by the way.

Hmm, definitely not the natural clicks...
Smees like Op photoshopped if these are not Ai AI-generated, But it seems like images are AI-generated or from a very professional pizza artist haha. This Pizza is not acceptable here haha just kiding.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hashrate increases. on: May 25, 2024, 04:27:04 PM
At mempool.space , we can find that these days, the network hashrate increased, the next difficulty is predicted to increase about 10%. After halving, what is the motivation to let more and more power to come into mining BTC?

The Bitoin's market price is the motivation for the distribution of the Supply and the immense demand in the future. The main point will be the supply and demand ratio which will determine the market valuation and the surge in the market value will be the motivation for the winners to put more investment into mining Bitcoin.

Not always does the market hash rate increase in the bear market always there is a significant decrease in the hash rate. Not always we can buy the Bitcoins from the market mining can be highly profitable with the gas fees and block mining rewards in the bull market you can makesignificant accumulation there.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin forks and ETFs on: May 25, 2024, 04:09:46 PM
As I was thinking about the whole debate on ordinals and segwit, it had me wonder.
What are your thoughts on this?

Edit: It’s funny. I also posted this on reddit and it got removed by a moderator. Probably because I mentioned ordinals, which wasn’t even the subject of the post? Really goes to show they do not encourage discussion over there.

Hmm, Reddit sucks anyway here on the forum you are free to discuss anything, I was quite interested in studying the forks and their future scope, but I think it's not worth it because you know now after Bitcoin's ETF approval and consideration of the Bitcoin as a commodity we don't need such huge turns in the current Blockchain technology for the usage of the network in another dimension there are some alternate solution, such as L2 an other blockchains which are more scaleable.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Crypto Wallet on: May 24, 2024, 07:10:45 PM
Hmm, Bro first of all you need to be particular with the Bitcoin wallet as if you have a massive amount of Bitcoins accumulated you need the hardware wallet for the best security, and if you want to frequently access your coins and want to actively trade, on the same time if your funds are not too much-decentralized hoot wallets are also a good option here if you are a newbie I will recommend to use the user-friendly UI wallets such as Trust wallet if you are concerned about some more features Electrum ist he best solution you can even use it with your Hardware wallet.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin the Dubmest Thing Ever Invented on: May 22, 2024, 07:07:00 PM
Bitcoin is the dumbest thing ever invented.
If you think Bitcoin is dumb then why you're present on this forum? If you don't like the idea of Bitcoin and find it useless then I believe someone like you should not be part of the forum that's a place for Bitcoin community. You need some research I believe, no I think you may need some treatment so you can understand Bitcoin properly.

Hah, such people don't need to understand the concept and potential of Bitcoin they just know one thing in their entire lives that they are the biggest trollers but in fact such people are clowns hehe seems like my words are super targeting anyway I can't o anything with it to present an example we need such words.

Anyway in reply to you why he's here haha to have some attention or something like that maybe we got some decent engagement even if its negative still he succeeded, TBH I haven't read even a single word from his post except the subject, so my reply is based on your comment.
89  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Learn a skill instead, you will be set for life. on: May 22, 2024, 07:02:52 PM
Many newbies and beginners believe that crypto is a way they can move funds without the government knowing, you are wrong, in fact crypto is a very bad way of laundering money, everything you do can be traced.

If some are to use crypto for money laundry, they can do that and there is nothing others can do about it as long as they know the means and ways to channel their actions towards that, this is not because making laundering is good, but we have to know this that cryptocurrency networks or the blockchain technology were not aimed for that, why we need to use crypto is for us to have financial privacy and control our finances, which is a more preferred means we can handle our asset away from the governments and their regulations.

Well, there's a huge misconception at this point that Bitcoin or any public network crypto can be directly used for money laundering, No one can do that until he uses some kind of bypass methods or services, or a private Blockchain network. Becasue in Blockchain the data is always available to Onchain it can be directly tracked and the money laundering cant be one in such a transparent system.
90  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My presentation on: May 22, 2024, 06:46:47 PM
Hello forum, I have just been housed in the crypto world and found this forum and just thought I would write a short presentation and say hi so Hi!
I kindly want to ask for advice and tips on how to get around here in the beginning? Where do I buy Bitcoin in the best website without being scammed? I O I have never traded crypto before. Grateful for all answers. See you around and thank you.

Hmm, trading-related concerns can be discussed in the trading section, and this is preferred as well, if you want to buy and invest regularly in Bitcoin make sure to set your restrictions first like do you want to stay anonymous or you are ok even after revealing your identity to buy Bitcoins because it will open up a space for you to explore like if you can compromise on identity there are reputed platform offer P2P direct buying options in the crypto market to accumulate Bitcoin or any other crypto you want.

They are user-friendly easy to use, and easy to secure but your funds won't be in your hands yo'll rely on a third-party platform for the management of your funds if you want to manage things yourself then learn about decentralized finance and then enter because blind entry can cost a lot as there are many things to learn before being your own fund's manager.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do your parents invest in bitcoin ? on: May 22, 2024, 06:40:14 PM
Are your parents investing in bitcoin ? Has it impacted your journey with crypto ?

Hmm, in straight yes, my father is an active accumulator of Bitcoin from his monthly salary based on the Buy the Dips strategy and DCA as well, you can say a hybrid technique to accumulate which is more efficient in my view as well. Yup, my own journey started after getting inspiration from my father although he knew just the basics TBH, he was the first motivation for me to start exploring this space, and now Alhadmdullilah I know a lot, and on the way to grabbing more and more.

He did buy some Bitcoin in early 2016 and sold them for some reason id don't know haha but know he accumulated after realizing the potential in the 2020 market.
92  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A known enemy can easily be defeated on: May 21, 2024, 08:54:27 PM
I have a younger brother who lives in the US and yesterday he told me about a call he received saying that he can get his lost coins back and all he needs to do is submit his wallet address.

Before saying that I am a fool, I know this is a scam, but I need to ask about what could possibly go wrong if he submit a wallet address? I did told him to submit a random wallet address that is empty with no single transactions in the past though but I can't stop thinking what this could lead to.

If you know their trick you can always be ahead of them and possibly be able to Warn others too, I am just wondering what they could possibly have in mind, I think they will track his transactions to know his worth. Or there is more? What do you think?

They who? did they provide any details and where he sent the address was there any clue about the organization was it an official or a random source that asked about the wallet because its very concerning if it was not an official authorities call then you need to be careful because maybe someone from your circle or a person who knows about you directly targeting you.

If it was the official call then there might be some other investigations. Hmm anyway mostly ignore such calls if they are unofficial and if they are official contacts for legal assistance because a professional can guide you better in the legal affairs that which details to be provided and which shouldn't.

94  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to become a successful trader on: May 21, 2024, 04:39:46 PM
Focusing on the process will make us have basic skills in trading. A trader's success depends on a combination of technical skills and fundamental analysis and this will be achieved if we focus on the process, this takes quite a long time so we have to be patient. This analytical ability will help a trader to determine the most appropriate decisions rationally, not just based on feelings which have a high possibility of error. This does require patience and difficult emotional control. A successful trader certainly has a lot of experience in terms of knowledge and experience.

Hmm, interesting well success and failure contain different factors ranging from your timeline, your mental level, your control over the decisions, your daily life etc etc. Hmm in every trade there is the contribution of 10% luck, 30% analysis, 40% discipline, and 20% emotional control haha this is my personal theory to execute a trade, hmm we can categorize some other factors under these terms as well.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If this is doable what will you add or remove? on: May 21, 2024, 03:53:54 PM
Let's all pretend to be a developer for today, and I have a question for you all.

If you are to add 1 thing to Bitcoin what will it be? And also if you are to remove just one thing from Bitcoin what will it be?

Haha first of all I would love to add my name to Bitcoin's development contributors list, secondly, on the Bitcoin network, I would first add an FCFS-based transaction processing system regardless of how high a fee a particular transaction signer is paying to process his transaction. Hmm, I had already discussed this previously somewhere but seems like I'm still unsatisfied and want to know more why if it was implemented they removed it.

To achieve more efficiency let's split it into segments one for fee payers, one a regular random processing, and one based on FCFS, and these 3 segments should be processed in parallel.

Haha, just a random bluff never mind, well I will explain more if anyone wants to know with some technical terms as well, In the removal area I would love to remove the shity ordinals in order to achieve a more reliable system.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin historical trading data 2009-2010 on: May 21, 2024, 03:43:59 PM
Hmm, OP nice piece of compilation, there are some interesting facts as well, keep it up any way I would like to suggest you that make sure to post the trading-related threads in the trading discussion thread because I cant find any interesting topics like this on that section even though this topic also belongs to that section if some of the more threads like this starts a trend there it will be great to discuss such type of topics there in more depth haha on typical trading scale.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use decentralized bitcoin in a centralized way? on: May 21, 2024, 03:39:59 PM
Hmm, I cant get it, bro if you want to use Bitcoin in your control all you need is just a non-custodial wallet and store your Bitcoins there then you'll have all those access points which are demanding, I am not sure the numbers but on Bitcoin network, I'm sure mostly people hold their maximum Bitcoin in their custody yup, there is a large number of the user using the exchanges to store or trade their Bitcoins

Reasons:

Newbies
flexible trading access
Cost saving.

Still maximum number of Bitcoins are stored in their custody.

99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC never for sale? on: May 20, 2024, 08:14:03 PM
This theory and the term have nothing to do with the reality that you never sell Bitcoins, yup you can go for a long-term holding from the timeline of 5 to 0 even 15 years, and an accumulation period of 3 to 5 years but if a person saying he won't sell, there are two possibilities, in theory, keep in mind one is generational accumulator which is very very rare in middle class 0.1% chances of such existence, hmm I cant be sure of the figures but I haven't met anyone yet, and the second possibility is that the person did accumulate the Bitcoins but lost the key haa so technically he cant sell (Just kidding) everyone will sell when needed so there is no need of being emotional on it.
100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How you trade in uncertain times? on: May 20, 2024, 08:09:54 PM

when the market is uncertain, it may just be good to stop trading and wait til you see the market trend is visually useful for you rather than just blindly trying it out in the dark.

most of us have a strategy of our own but most of us in crypto understand the cycle to follow which is almost the safest way to do it. unless you are up to scalp every satoshi you wanna get.

Hmm a good piece of advice, but as we all know the impatience and greed of getting something out of such volatility cant be endured by everyone so people mostly fall into the traps, about which they always guide others to stay conscious.

My recommendation to the newbies in the Bull market is to stay calm and keep accumulating whenever you feel the right entry point it has nothing to do with the TA and Physclology just stay in touch with the market you'll know the points the enter such as major dips.
