81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's nice to be back again on Bitcoin @50,000$ on: May 18, 2021, 11:15:55 PM
Hello all!

I want to share my cool experience about holding Bitcoin.

I become busy last year and decided to totally disconnected on crypto market or news to focus on my studies and extra job to earn despite pandemic last December 2021 when Bitcoin is on the early Bullish trend. It's really good to see now that my Bitcoin was already X2 the initial money that I earn on signature campaign here. I never though that Bitcoin price will go this far and I decided to take some profit although the current price is at correction.

Really happy to choose holding rather than convert it fiat by the time I decided to leave crypto.

All I have to tell the OP is that never underestimate your signature earnings. There was a time, in 2013 when I entered my first signature campaign. When converted to fiat, I was earning around $2 per week. But the Bitcoin exchange rates went up by 100x or more from those levels, and that means that I was earning $200 per week as per the current exchange rates. The same can happen now as well. In the long-term, in all probability Bitcoin will rise to six-digits or even seven digits. The mBTCs that you earn now will be very valuable then.

Good point and indeed even the signature campaigns in 2017 paid off big time. There were a couple of campaigns that were worth thousands even though they went on for three months or more. But still for making 15 posts a week earning a couple of thousand dollars extra, I guess nobody would complain about that.

I think maybe your email had been sideline by scammers to be used to send scam offers to you, I don't know how legit yobit but I have about them to much for them to get into such cheap scam. Maybe you should watch out for where you put your email into, scams can get you email into there target list and keep sending your email using many exchanges, channels, project etc as possible to get your interest.
So unless the official yobit can confirm this with prove, I think this is a scam and your email is exposed to many possible scams now and in future.

Yobit definitely has a history of having supported or facilitated scams. They were said to develop one coin after another, list them on their own exchange and pump them. Nobody can prove it but it looked like it. In how far they actively scam this way, I don't know but once you are engaging in suspicious activities in general you must expect others to also suspect you for even more.

84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: May 16, 2021, 06:56:59 AM
1. Fear of the unknown
2. Some people out there see it as a pyramid scheme to stay clear of
3. Some people don't want to associate themselves with a medium that was/is linked to drugs
4. Its unregulated, which might make the risk high
5. Others think bitcoin isn't real

The last point is important because it refers to the fact that most people can't explain what money is. Money is a social construct based on trust and not the government gives it value, but the people who use it. If they understood that, they'd know why Bitcoin has value with all its superior properties.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Trust this type Offer on: May 16, 2021, 06:51:51 AM
Imagine 2% of interest of bitcoin as a profit daily, that amount is already too big for a normal investor to recieve each day. Even as bitcoin's value increases, the amount of the interest would also increase too. Don't fall to their traps, it is an obvious scam so do not send money to their address no matter what. Be wise and observant with every offer you recieve in your email or else you will regret it later on as they steal away your money with no hopes of ever catching them as criminals. There are a lot of frauds in the crypto world and if you're too dumb, they will feed on you as much as they can.

Maybe it wasn't even from Yobit officially, but could be for sure. They just denied me access recently to my account even though I went through their identification process that you need to pass when you lost your 2fa. They are scammers.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's nice to be back again on Bitcoin @50,000$ on: May 16, 2021, 06:50:15 AM

As long as we don't need it for personal use like emergencies then hodling is really the best choice when you have bitcoin. Since december 2020 breaking its 2017's ATH, we already soared more than 200% of that price or $65k per bitcoin as the current ATH. I think this is because many big institutions already started to adopt bitcoin and blockchain technology to their businesses. People who panic sold during bear season are definitely in regret now. For those who sold their bitcoin because of unpredictable things that happened, it is not too late to buy now. Bitcoin has still a lot more to grow now that mass adoption is slowly happening.

Yes picking an amount that you are comfortable without having access to for a longer period of time is the perfect HODL investment. You can go through ups and downs without eating your finger nalls Wink
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reactions From Musk's Bitcoin criticism on: May 16, 2021, 06:48:56 AM
The longer i think about it the more convinced I am that it was a paid FUD. Paid by market operators (AKA market manipulators) to whipe out long positions with as little cost as it is possible. I (and not only me) expected a massive dump before another leg up just from technical point of view even without this "news". "news' that everyone knew about. I cant imagine a investor that invested in bitcoin not knowing the fact that it consumes as much energy as whole country. So as I don't believe that Musk nought bitcoin, was shilling bitcoin for months and finally did research yesterday and changed his decision XD. He is not that stupid...

Yesterday we also had fake binance FUD:

"BREAKING: Binance, the world's biggest crypto exchange, is under investigation by the Justice Department and IRS https://trib.al/tXGMWBT"
https://twitter.com/crypto/status/1392888177363406852

While the true is:

"The "news" title is bad. Article itself isn't so bad actually (but who reads). It described how
collaborated with law enforcement agencies to fight bad players, but somehow made it look like a bad thing... Thinking face Anyways. Back to work."
https://twitter.com/cz_binance

I like to call it "bullish FUD". Moon soon.

Nice read and exactly what I am thinking! Cheesy I like the OP post! That one is fun as well. I would be disappointed to ever get to know that Musk takes money for tweeting that. Frankly speaking, why should he? Like, what amount? $50 billion for a tweet?
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beginning of FUD propaganda war? on: May 16, 2021, 06:46:01 AM
If one Mars boi can influence the Bitcoin price to such an extent with a single tweet, causing the Cubans and Pomps et al. to come out on the defence, and now this crowdfunded pro-Bitcoin doc (https://cointelegraph.com/news/maximalists-at-the-movies-bitcoiners-crowdfunding-anti-fud-documentary-film), are we witnessing the beginning of a new cryptocurrency propaganda war?

I guess we are lucky there aren't too many Mars bois (as you call them) around. Bitcoin has reacted to different influences in the past but became more resistant over time. I don't think we'll end up with Musk having any say over Bitcoin. It was just the excitement and his tweets found fertile grounds during the hype.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do I need to pay Tax on my Crypto Gambling Winnings? A guide on: May 16, 2021, 06:39:08 AM
McAfee was quite the jerk anyway. He was shilling all those coins on Twitter and everybody knew he is getting paid for it. I am sure he didn't declare that income even once.
Where is he in jail now? Spain?
He was extradited after being arrested in Barcelona and as per this article says, he's now close to bankruptcy.
John McAfee close to bankruptcy as he fights crypto fraud charges

I never thought he was still rich anyway. Once that guy started to promote the last BS on Twitter it was obvious he must be damn broke. I have to admit he was entertaining! Cheesy
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do I need to pay Tax on my Crypto Gambling Winnings? A guide on: May 15, 2021, 09:10:28 PM
Actually what I am really saying is, unless you have a very very smart plan, follow the gov rule. If you are sure that you can fool them go for it but don't cry when they catch you. If you aren't sure, just pay it. I am not saying that you should pay your taxes no matter what. I say that you must be very smart about it if you are not going to.

McAfee wasn't paying his taxes too and he made it public for everyone to hear. Now he is in jail. That was dumb. Don't be dumb.
No, I do not want to fool the government because I know the risk and always follow my gov rule. I am trying to pay the taxes applied to me and I do not mind with that.

But I guess some people are trying not to pay the taxes although they have many sources of income and are wealthy. Sooner or later, they will get caught by the government because they do not pay the taxes.

Yeah, he was jailed in Spain... https://www.reuters.com/article/us-spain-usa-mcafee-idUSKBN26R10N

We never hear from him this bull run, maybe because he is still in jail serving his sentence, but even if he will shill, no one will believe in him as he already ruined his reputation.

Yes I remember that article or some article talking about it. I think he is afraid of his extradition to the United States. For good reason I would argue as the sentence he can expect is no joke.
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ibrahimovic under FIFA and UEFA investigation on: May 15, 2021, 09:09:03 PM
Although it's against Uefa rules. But having a commission in betting shouldn't warrant such a heavy levy. Does it mean sports men aren't entitled to owning an investment in the sector?

Since betting is part of the business becoming a partner in the betting industry shouldn't be a crime and as such it should be a welcome development if footballers and other sports athletes partner therein. Unless there could be something the aren't telling us

I beg to differ to be honest. Sportsmen owning stakes in a betting company is not optimal to say it carefully. The rules are known to anyone and should be respected whether it is Zlatan or anyone else.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ibrahimovic under FIFA and UEFA investigation on: May 14, 2021, 06:38:18 AM
Your argument makes sense but there is a reason why the rules are there for a reason, he has a conflict of interest and in many occupations the way it deals with this is the same, you need to choose one or the other occupation and never both, a lawyer cannot at any moment take two different sides of the same case, he can only hear one side and the moment he does and receives payment he cannot even listen to the other side or he will have an unfair advantage and the same is happening here.

I can understand the argument put forward by UEFA. Being a player, Zlatan should keep away from gambling sites. If he has an interest in the gambling sites, then it gets murky. The amount of profit his company is going to earn may change as per the outcome of the matches in which he is taking part. But my question is not related to the fairness of the charges against Zlatan. My question is why the UEFA dragged on their investigation, despite these facts being known for so long. The news first came to surface in 2018. Why they were in deep slumber for all these years?
That is impossible to know, but there are some possible reasons for this, one possible explanation is that as we know legal processes have the tendency to move at a snail pace compared to the world in which we live in, another factor could be politics, maybe there were some higher ups that liked Ibrahimovic and they moved their influences to protect him and to delay this, and finally maybe they are that incompetent, something that is not really difficult to believe.

I believe there are often networks involved up to the highest judges. Remember Ronaldo and Messi evading huge amounts of taxes? An ordinary guy would have been sent to jail, but both got away with it pretty much. They had to pay a fine that didn't even hurt them and got a small suspended sentence. I don't believe the same applies to others.

What you are saying makes perfect sense, if I am lucky to win a big. When going to cashout to a bank account, there will definitely be a question of
sources of income. I didn't think that far before, because until now I have never won in large numbers when playing gambling Cheesy. If caught
the source of income from gambling, my funds can be frozen or rejected Cry. Maybe I will cashout gradually, so as not to be suspected. Or do you have
any other good ideas?
Maybe you can send the win money to the other wallets, such as private wallets or wallets on the exchanges, and you can start to withdraw gradually. At least, that is what I did so far. I do not withdraw thousands of dollars at once, and if I want to withdraw thousands of dollars, I will divide it into two or three parts and withdraw it three times. That will not sound the bank's alarms because that will look like a normal transaction.

I wouldn't rely on that if I were you. At some point you want to cash out the money and financial authorities may scrutinize your account even in the future. What do you answer them if they ask you where the money comes from? Even if it's from another person because you sold from an exchange, they could ask you how you are related to that person.

You are playing a dangerous game my friend!
No, I do not think that the financial authorities will do that. But if they do that, I think I will answer that the money comes from other ways. I will give the proof to them and I think they will not be suspicious with that. If that money comes from the exchanges, the financial authorities will search for that exchange and maybe they will ask about that. That will not be a problem for me as I also trade on the exchange to make more money.

We will have our way to withdraw the money, whether that is the money from gambling or the exchanges.

I don't know where you come from but financial authorities usually cannot be cheated on as you are trying to explain it. If there is a single part of your story inconsistent or incoherent you will have a problem. Perhaps you are right and in your country it is not that difficult to present them with a fairytale about the origins of your wealth.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ibrahimovic under FIFA and UEFA investigation on: May 03, 2021, 04:06:35 PM
the company he co owns also co owns another company and whats the problem with that ? there is no personal matter but its just a business what they are doing but if this is not allowed he should have done a research at first and not insist this partnership because the fine are too heavy and he is going to affect him much and the people that are under him but he can choose to pay because for sure he have lots of cash than to wait for a long time to be able to play again because he can recover those money working within these period

It is like saying why can't I cross a red traffic light if nobody wants to cross the street. You have to follow the rules especially when you are aware of them and seriously Ibrahimovic was aware of them. If you go 70 mph where you are asked to go 50 mph but you go faster only because nobody else is on the street, that's not how it works.

Remember is not over yet.

It is only paused probably till the end of this Champions' League

I can leave here the law courts release from Madrid to a potential penalization from UEFA/FIFA and national leagues.

Jose Mourinho sacked

Jose Mourinho got sacked this morning, he had a heated argument with Levy yesterday after he learnt that Tottenham was part of the founding clubs of the European super league. According to several reports, Mourinho refused to take the players to morning training, he is one of the managers against the supper league. Tottenham plays Manchester City on Sunday in the League cup final, what an unfortunate time to get rip of Jose.. their sack will cost the club £30m.

Yes!! Anyone thinks he could be joining Bayern Munich? There will most likely be some discussion about him at Bayern. Don't think though that he is the character Bayern Munich is searching for.
Mourinho should take a break from the coaching job for a year or two, Bundesliga  is not the kind of league he likes to play in, he likes competition and there is none in the Bundesliga, he may likely go back to Italy or French league... No official contact for now.

He does indeed take a break! He just signed a contract to work as an expert in TV. There is no club which he could be excited about at the moment. He is available though and I am curious to see what his next club will be.
