So the original question was - has it technical background or is it a trying to achieve 100% uptime of mn network?
It's the latter: Masternode network has a proof-of-service paradigm, and the queue reset on new sigtime is another metric to achieve 100% uptime.

I'm getting 502 Bad Gateway from the http://explorer.darkcoin.io block explorer. Is this just a temp thing or has it moved/changed name or something? Updating ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

******************************************************************************************************************************** There are still users on either wrong version or wrong protocol or both !! pls make sure your wallets (cold and hot) have version 0.12.0.45 and protocol 70103 !! ********************************************************************************************************************************
Will the protocol version be correct when updating to .45? Or do we have to edit the conf file for that? Yes, the protocol version will be correct when updating to the latest version (.45) available on dashpay.io And no, no config file editing necessary.

Is it possible to integrate Ethereums contract system code into DASH and its masternode system, similar to the way counterparty has done?
Counterparty is token based system overlaying Bitcoin. That is why you can with Counterparty. Since we have the same codebase, I don't see why not. But this is no way a 100% sure answer. I'd like to know as well. Working on it ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

what happened to i2p integration, was that more of a "roadmap project" or is dash actively moving in that direction or has it been tabled indefinitely?
We have tor support currently, so it's not really high on the todo list. I think I would rather integrate tor directly, maybe support some seed nodes via the actual code so it's just a configuration option. That seems like a better option. hey eduffield, thanks for replying, i have been having issues connecting over tor, it seems that the seednode isn't connecting properly and i my client wont find new peers unless they are explicitly added in the config. hmm, that's unfortunate. I'll add that to my todo list thanks, for now though is there a list of peers i can connect to? I don't have a list, maybe someone else does where/who should i ask? https://dashtalk.org/threads/dash-darkcoin-tor-relay.4175/

This thread
This is just a thread and it is composed of the aggregated posts of everyone. To be honest we, the Dash community, have been contributing to the off-topic conversation. All we need to do is stay on topic, stop replying to trolls and try to act the way we perceive ourselves like a mature and professional community. The troll's role is to be provocative and irrational our job is to understand that and try to make this discussion useful to the Dash community and to the industry at large.
Bitcointalk.org plays an important role in the crypto ecosystem, specially for altcoins, this is where it all starts. It also keeps the altcoin community together so we can interact with other communities, exchange ideas, provide feedback and keep the space moving. You want the discussion to improve, just be mindful of what you post and ask yourself if it adds value.
This could come in handy some day http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/2015-04/14/google-algorithm-predicts-trolls-antisocial-behaviour

TestNet MN's runs parallel to normal MN's (which still gets paid) on the same VPS ?! what funding recourses do you mean ?
No, often (usually?) people pay for additional VPS instances just for use on testnet. It's better than having an unstable testnet daemon cripple your live MN. Correct, separation of concerns. Never mix test resources with production resources.

Great photo Tungfa ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Regarding the MN payments... Enforcment OFF = irregular payments Enforcment ON = regular clock payments we need 80% updated network to swich from OFF to ON! Where is the motivation to upgrade? I upgrade right away, don't get paid. Someone on v10 stays at v10, gets paid twice. Man, this is not about the motivation Now you're acting like a bad actor here. You invested your money and if you want the coin to succeed do as the devs ask you. Otherwise please sell and stop moaning about upgrades, even if they come very often. Other communities would love to have daily upgrades lol. I disagree. We should have a testnet and testing methodology that means that we have fewer releases. IMHO it is the regularity of releases that leads to the apathy to update. Why should the various masternode hosting services upgrade to a version until they are sure it is stable? I'm just grabbing figures from my head here but what if Flare hosts 300 masternodes and needs to manage the comms because there is also a protocol change? Would you upgrade your customers to 11.0 straight away when there is a good chance we will be on 11.10 within a week? I'd rather have one release that is stable with new features waiting to the next major release. This! I am not happy with the current "testing on mainnet" approach either. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fej5ckSU.png&t=663&c=qpPqA_LdkurngQ) We need to consolidate and go back to testnet.

Currently BitcoinWisdom is not accepting new exchange until next version online. If the new version still cannot be online in one week, I will start adding exchanges to current system. There are 4 rules for adding an exchange: 1. Real volume 2. The exchange has been online more than 3 months and have high reputation. 3. Stable API 4. If a currency has already had 3 exchanges, small exchanges will not be added.
In new version, the rule will be more flexibly.
Any plans to include OKCoin BTC futures?

It seems that the variance issue has been fixed so that all the MN will get a payment each before any of them will get a second payment, this based on observing payments over the last three days, before some MN were a week or more without getting a reward whilst other ones got multiple rewards.
oh cool tx for the update is that implemented already ?! incl enforcements back on ? It is: I've just discovered a bug that was only activated after 1000 masternodes were reached. The result is increased variance between payments the more masternodes we get. It's very simply to fix and I'll patch the reference node right away. It'll take a couple days for it to take effect, then we should have pretty even payments again (like after we launched).
Enforcement was off for a bit while I updated the reference node, you should start receiving payments like clockwork again soon.

Serious statement, I trust DRK and BTC much more than I trust Mastercard. In any case, there are many illegal merchants and fraudsters using Mastercard. What a load of ill-informed FUD. “Why does someone need to be anonymous?” - Matthew Driver, MasterCard Quote of the year
