I've been researching and trying to familiarize myself with this project and I have a handful of questions. Apologies if they've already been asked, as I've only made it through the PRE-ANN for BRO and about half of the ANN from 2014. Haven't skimmed this current thread yet, besides the OP and the few posts that follow. * Which btctalk members are part of the official team? * How many BTC were raised in the initial ICO? * How many peeps participated in the initial ICO? * When was the decision made to reward 2014 ICO investors with equal quantities of both BRK and BRX? * Although current ICO participants aren't taking as big of a risk as the initial 2014 investors, will the individuals that have invested in the current ICO be given a break when it comes time for the BRX coin sale? It doesn't appear that the 2000BTC level on Bittrex will be reached at this point. The original Brocoin/Bergstake design did not allow stake to be transferrable. It was tied to your wallet. James' Breakout Chain implementation places the staking mechanism into a separate coin, BRX, which is transferable. Since 1st coin sale purchasers bought the concept of coin + stake, we gave them both BRK + BRX plus 20% bonus for the long wait* Although current ICO participants aren't taking as big of a risk as the initial 2014 investors, will the individuals that have invested in the current ICO be given a break when it comes time for the BRX coin sale? Yahoo!. just won 1st at the BRK Coin tournament now. I hope i'll also win the card at bittrex tourney!.  Good luck, but i already have claims to the win on the Trex tourny! I'm keeping my eyes on you  You want to be keeping your eyes on the Bittrex guys as they have nice BRK bounty on their head. If you missed Blocktalk - Breakout Coin with ESports and Cards, I would suggest you watch it. Breakout is one of the most legit projects I've ever seen on Bitcointalk. There was a lot of questions abous SiS in the chain as well. With the current use case of gaming/gambling for BRK, 95% of all players will know nothing about the rest of the Breakout Chain. There is a system for mass adoption of BRK that is not limited to the crypto enthusiasts but all gamblers and gamers. They will know the main currency BRK and that it's used to buy video game downloads, play cards, wager on their eSports matches, etc. The purpose of SiS is to add another level of security to the PoS blockchain with PoW mining. I am sorry but I don't think this is correct as I have finished 21, 23, 25 in some BRK tournaments and get no reward. I believe top 7 gets rewarded. I really don't know how it's rewarded but for sure if 40 people participate in a 200 entrants game then 199 position should get a reward. I am actually not a poker player but I am having fun, learning and not losing anything.

Until now, PoS coins always staked more PoS coins. Breakout Chain is the first of it's kind where one coin (BRX) stakes another coin (BRK), effectively separating the staking mechanism from the PoS coin altogether. Although BRK will be the main currency for the Breakout Chain, BRX is also tradeable and will have it's own market. There will be a gradual increase in the total number of BRK as a result of PoS minting, however there will never be any more BRX.
