When I mentioned facts, I was talking to the other guy - check my posts! We used DGW as opposed to KGW. DGW has gone through several iterations (updates), latest update will kick-in with the next wallet update. The coin is stable now and the hashrate is great for a new coin. My facts aren't straight? You claim its based on DGW yet your OP states "Difficulty Retarget: KGW & Time-Warp Fix". You seem to be a bit confused, Dude. Difficulty not adjusting in 3 hours means there is a problem, your difficulty re-targeting isn't working. Darkcoin hashrate is high yet it re-adjusts diff every block.

From Darkcoin thread on DGW: " I'm really happy with my current implementation of DGW, it seems to be vastly improved over KGW. It uses multiple exponential moving averages and a simple moving average to smoothly adjust the difficulty. We've had huge fluctuations in testnet and it's dealt with everything perfectly."
So, why hasn't the difficulty adjusted at all in at least the last 3 hours?

The difficulty slowly increased as is normal - like with Darkcoin, Vertcoin, Litecoin, etc, etc. There is nothing more to say on the low difficulty at the beginning. It's common. It's doesn't mean it's a scam coin or a shit coin.
Litecoin, Darkcoin, Vertcoin, etc, are all doing well! All had low difficulty in the beginning! We can give dozens of examples.
Time to move on dudes! We will be posting forum details soon.

Some of you don't understand block retargetting. For example, Vertcoin has a similar block time to Conspiracy Coin and, likewise, a lot of blocks were mined very, very quickly. This is Litecoin. Some of don't grasp that the average block time is an AVERAGE! It may take a while to reach that time as the retargetting algo kicks in.  We need a team of pro whiners to swarm those threads with INSTAMINE SCAM posts! We need to deliver truth to those poor souls who still mine Litecoin and Vertcfoin. Is this some kind of lesson. if it is, i think we know all this allready, its basic. tell us something new... tell us a conspiracy tale and put us all to sleep. i think we all need it after being up so late waiting for you to bother to launch(shove out) your coin. |

The problem here i believe is Too Little Too Late. you have allowed your ann page to get full of fub because you thought your vagueness mean it added to a twisted idea of what you think conspiracy means. people want to mine a coin that can hold up to all forms of attack. This has not worked for you. there are over 40 pages here of miners asking simple questions and over 40 pages of a kind of dev doing well,, in my view very little. I wish you the very best of luck wiping up your mess. and i thank you for such a smooth and entertaining launch. i can see why you dont work for NASA.

Once the advertising begins on Monday, we will get thousands from the non crypto World mining and trading this coin. We are adding a simple solo mining button to accommodate all the non crypro people.

Which question or questions didn't I answer? The difficulty was low at the beginning and because the long lead up, the coin was mined hard - there were many waiting to mine it. The difficulty readjusted and is working fine. This has happened to a number of coins. No disrespect, but you have made many negative posts in this thread - why dwell so much if you don't like the coin? There are new coins launched everyday so why not move on? Dwelling on such negativity can't be healthy. The forum is up today with blog and the other social media stuff... we will start to pick-up lots of supporters, what will you do then?
