Over at Bittrex.com 1,000,000 "BOB" is worth 1.86465000 BTC (bitcoin) ..which according to coinbase (a retail BTC/USD market where 1 BTC = $334.59): 1,000,000 "BOB" would be "Worth" $623.89 in useless federal debt receipts; which is STUPID as FUCK since it represents over a year of mining 24/hrs a day with a 500w power-supply at 10MH/s yet having (only) 1/4 the current global supply.

Please don't ask me to do the math on the cost of electricity.

All existing Dobbscoins have been secured in the block chain by hard coded checkpoints.
So long as you don't loose your wallet.dat file - you won't loose any Slack.


     We're currently on BLOCK #66173. At BLOCK #68425 "BOB" will switch to 2 minute BLOCKS worth 10 "BOB" (miners still create 7200 "BOB"/day). Previous installations will no longer SYNCH to the new block chain once this occurs. If you have any Dobbscoin, your wallet.dat file contains all the transactions, but you will be unable to "spend" them until after you upgrade. NOW is a good time to zip a copy of that fucker up and save it some place secure.

Running Wallet OVERVIEW

Windows clients store their blockchains and wallet.dat in the %APPDATA% Directory (in my case it's C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Dobbscoin) The only file you really need to covet is wallet.dat, as this file is where Dobbscoin stores the private keys (cryptographical shit) for all the addresses you control. All public Dobbscoin addresses have private keys which verify the address you have and give you access to move "BOB" on the blockchain from one address to another, and wallet.dat handles this. %APPDATA% is NOT the location of the Installed Client.

Personally, I don't backup my wallet.dat regularly because I send the Dobbscoin I wish to "SAVE" to a paperwallet, which I print out. Paperwallets allow you to secure your PUBLIC Address & PRIVATE Key somewhere offline, while making them simple to IMPORT into the running wallet later through the DEBUG Window's console using the command 'importprivkey privatekeyaddresshere'. If you are having trouble doing this, it is likely because your wallet has been encrypted and needs to be UNLOCKED before IMPORTING your PRIVKEY. Use 'walletpassphrase your_wallet_passphrase_here 600' to unlock your wallet for 600 seconds, then 'importprivkey privatekeyaddresshere'.

The new client is up to speed with the CORE bitcoin code, allowing for simplified control of the "BOB" allocated to an individual address within your clients total balance. For instance: If I sent 200 "BOB" to you at five different RECEIVE addresses... your total balance would show 1000 "BOB" - and you *could* spend any portion of them from the collective wallet, or you could choose which addresses (inputs) you wished to spend from.. allowing you to separate the transactions.. to give you a greater ability to keep your Slack payments from mixing up on the block chain, and creating a better layer of anonymity.

The is is an example of Addresses I have received Slack previously. I usually only use a receiving address once and scoop my "BOB" from them into a number of other addresses which I re-use (or else send them off world to a paperwallet for safe keeping). Using an address only once allows for better accounting of your Slack when trading with other mutants.

My favorite command line arguments are 'help' and 'getinfo' and 'getbalance'. You can also use 'help getinfo' or 'help any-command' if you are into excessively long worded, yet well written assistance.

When (BOB) Dobbscoin was first created v0.8.6.1, it came with a full suite of wallets:

• Linux Source + 32bit & 64bit executables
• Windows executable core
• Windows Installer/Uninstaller
• MAC (.dmg package)
• As well as the GIT SOURCE PACKAGE

The first upgrade to v.0.8.6.2 was performed by an altcoin master going by the handle x-static, using Gitian - whose final product releases also included the full suite of wallets - each statically built to include all the dependencies required for smooth installation and use.

The latest upgrade to v0.8.7.0 was completed by two talented coders Slackmaster Earlz (Win32 client), and the infamous altcoin coder Shakezula (MAC client). These wallets however were built independently and came only with executable core wallets: the windows core also required an included .dll library.

With the next package, I hope to find someone capable of  handling the full suite of wallets once again, and bringing them up to BitCoin current (v0.10+) standards; along with the following changes.

• Change the Dobbscoin Blocktime to 2.5 minutes per BLOCK
• Change the Block Reward to 12.5 BOB per BLOCK

Ahmedbodi was working on one, but stopped after finding a hiccup he was unable to overcome.

     Dobbscoin was a robot created shitcoin from the original coingen service, spawned as a study project for entry level programming and business classes I was taking in late 2013. ("BOB") was re-written over the course of that class with the help of the 2013 altcoin crowd, but it still has some issues with an invalid genesis block (it's first 0.0000001 transaction) which will have to be ignored for it to work as an android package, and frankly - it was more than I could handle to comprehend in the first place. If it weren't for private interest and assistance of SubGenii at large, it would have never gone anywhere.


Most kind offer. I have considered freelancing the Android wallet out on freelancer - if it ever becomes more than a pipe-dream, I'll be happy to take you up on it. It's become what it always was anyhow. A Self-Help through Raising Hell, Bitcoin alternative meme coin project, with a small but rabid fan base more into bag-holding and trading among themselves than instantly exchanging it for bitcoin.
