Ok, been away building a business office/nurdspace™ ..and sad to see NOVA going tits to the wind, but happy that there wont be an exchange to dump "BOB" at; so that should stop multi-pools 'eh?
I feel it VERY important to point out that.. NEVER - NOT EVER .. NOT EVEN ONCE have I ever had a problem mining at the HOME POOL. In fact.. after installing MINERA on a Raspberry PI today, I loaded it up and wh00t - MINING INSTANTLY.. So I don't understand anyone's problems. Maybe we can turn a few blocks and I can help endciv get his "BOB" off NOVA before it donates them all to ERIS.
I cant upload the awesome screen shot i took cos I don't have ftp and ssh tools here yet.
But believe me.. it's awesome.

I can mine at the HOME pool no problem.. 'just don't got working hardware no more. Romes always reports prollums with it tho.. All anyone has to do is turn a block and it'll keep goin. Sadly with scamcoiners: No market = no interest = no miners.. No miners = no blocks.. I know "BOB" may have been 'Voted FRAUD of the Century (1990-2000) by Time Magazine!!' ( more), and has no miners.. but its NO SCAMCOIN. Prolly holds its value more reliably than ANY altcoin.. Still the problem remains. If anyone with a creditable history cares to takeover the coin, I'd consider it going POS so that mining wouldn't be an issue, it's just beyond my skillset. HELL, I'd consider turning over the whole project to an acceptable party if they were right with "BOB". |

I know you say you can't mine there, and I HAVE seen orphans... I seen orphans ONCE. and it was a slew of them. The oddest thing about it was that it was when ROMES was the only one mining. One of these days i'll get time to fire up the miner and i bet it just works. |

They have at least 6 constant connections, my wallet usually shows 8. There is NOTHING wrong with earlz code and it's a direct port from Bitcoin to begin ..so I wrote cryptopia. Uh, what are you talking about? Everyone I can find says BOB is just fine. I can even send and withdraw to BOB @ cryptopia just fine. All the people I know have zero issues. We're sending and receiving just fine with ZERO reports of erroneous wallet address or transaction problems. Your wallet is even at the same block height and has 6 connections. Network does not produce enough hash power to sufficiently protect against malicious attacks/Network does not maintain enough connections. Which is also garbage, not to mention that its NOT AT ALL what the HUGE message on the market suggests. His knee gave out and he fell onto a side table, was found on his knees.

Is that crickets I hear in the background?Where is everybody?I sure would like to mine some of these with my little blizzard but I still cant connect to the coin.I wanna get some silver.Cryptopia was the only place I could connect and they dont have the pool anymore.So I asked mining dutch to add it and he did still cant get anything done.only way for me is either buy them or faucet.I just wish I could buy them with dollars lol I want to add many more to my collection (Bobs and silver) I plan on being on that saucer  Oh and Ive tried to send the dev some emails but I get them back as undeliverable?Pinging and doing a tracert shows 2 dead nodes between me and the official pool.Shows network hashrate at2.4 mhs last I looked and I rarely see it go over 5 or 6 mhs I have had some luck renting rigs which are based in Louisianna but only big ass riggs is all I can find there and I dont wanna smash it, DOES NOT COMPUTE, DOES NOT COMPUTE.. I can see one minor (MAJOR) issue.. Seems the primary SEEDNODE (seed.dobbscoin.info:19985) was not running, and I do't know why, so that might bust ya up if ya had no cached relay node addresses. But if you can get to the Official Pool, we can always use help there. ProHashing fucks us up & solo-miners always kicking our ass. Hmmm, I'm not sure I understand well enough to assist. I'm mining there, with Minera set at 5.5MH/s and it does say my Error/Reject rate is rather high.. 6.32% / 7.67%. The Pool is saying: Pool Efficiency 84.84% and http://pool.dobbscoin.info/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks has a buncha stats .. while http://pool.dobbscoin.info/index.php?page=statistics&action=round shows that in this round, it is CRAZY high. Rank User Shares Invalid Invalid Percent 1 romes 391,432 97,072 24.80 2 BtcBob 360,448 130,048 36.08 Right so, it's High, agreed. Maybe we're under attack? I've been mining there since it opened and romes reports only being able to mine there since about a month ago, when he believes something got fixed, but I assure you that I seriouslly did nothing to rectify his issues. Honestly, I am not even sure how the damn thing even works.. It's all quite a mystery. I have noticed for a great while that ProHashing gets a stupid high number of our blocks and is willing to sell them, to which I have been happy to watch the "market value" crash in some sorta crypto-death spiral.. and am delighted to see someone interested in buying them at ever better prices, so to that end Dobbscoin is looking even better to me; far from death for sure. The "Home" pool only spits out large amount of bad shares. And for the 1 or 2 who have had the time to fix this (somewhat) for themselves, there are far many more discordians that require this access to this quintessential currency.
I have never known purveyors of crypto to be 'fair' or even 'human' for the most part. But don't let dobbscoin die. Not like this, not like this.
