Bitcoin was rising from the last some days, but sadly today it has fallen to $6.7k approx. Due to its highly volatile nature, its very difficult to predict the future of bitcoin. But according to experts, it will surpass $20k at the end of the year. Lets see what happens.  |

Firstly I would like to tell you the difference between Crypto Trader and crypto Holder. The above case which you explained depicts that you are a bitcoin holder and not bitcoin trader. Crypto Trader performs number of transactions daily ,but crypto holder do not transact on daily basis , He buys crypto when its price is less and sell it when its price is high. As you are a newbie , so I recommend you to don't start crypto trading now, as market is dead at this time ,and prices are falling down day by day. You should first work under the guidance of some experienced trader, so that he can guide you at every step or moment. Throughout my trading education(self-learning) most contents I read or watch regarding crypto trading states it point blank that "about 90% of crypto traders lose their funds"in the cause of trading.
This has somehow made me lose interest in learning to trade. Does this mean, that as a new trader or even the professionals have a marginal percentage of being successful in crypto trading? if your answer is no, then I guess there is rules or ethics you abide by that has made you successful in most of your trading.

I bought some bitcoin in March 2017, sell half of it in Dec 2017 and hodl the other half since then. The current downward trend seem to last for a very long time and I'm quite upset about it. What do you guys think? Should I hodl or sell all my BTC now?
According to me, You should retain it because I believe that it will recreate history i.e it will hit $20k at the end of the year . But if you are in urgent need of money , then I suggest you to sell it ,but if their is no such emergency ,you should retain it until it reaches its peak. According to Experts predictions, bitcoin will soon hit $20k. Personally I also think that it will surpass $20k in the end of 2018. But when i see that today 1 btc= $6.5k , it seems to be impossible that it will exceed $20k. Lets wait and watch till December, only a few months left ,hope it will surpass $20k ,so that all the investors would get high returns from bitcoins. If again this year it will rise up to $20k , then many more people would start trusting bitcoin and will definitely invest in bitcoins in future.

One strategy that works best in times of fall in the market is to remain calm, and not allow yourself to be blown by panic. Just hold the tokens with large caps and even if possible, buy more tokens and hold.
