81  Economy / Economics / Re: China Will Kill Bitcoin: A Conspiracy Theory on: October 02, 2018, 02:58:32 PM
I am presenting a speculative idea and a conspiracy theory and here it is: China is planning to kill the whole of the cryptocurrency market starting with the biggest of them all Bitcoin and all the rest will follow. In fact, there is a detailed plan being worked out on here and it started with the banning of all ICO projects...next is the ban of all Bitcoin exchanges and soon all citizens of China having Bitcoin will be imprisoned for 20 years (only 5 years if the person will surrender his Bitcoin to the government for possible burning).

Do you think am I hallucinating due to the "shabu I bought coming from China? Or am I only making some predictions that has more chance to come true than playing in lottery?

Please tell me what you think...and let's have some fun!
I've got a counterquestion: if China is going to kill cryptocurrency, what are they going to do with all those biggest farms located in this country?
Are they going to simply destroy (or re-sell) them? I don't think your predictions will ever come true, especially the part about imprisonment - as this may lead to riots and eventually to revolution.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Or Trading? on: October 01, 2018, 02:52:41 PM
I will ask you which one is the most beneficial of these two things? what will you choose? and explain why you chose it. who knows it will give input to everyone who reads. if I myself might be a bounty can be profitable and maybe the results of the bounty will lead to trading. What is your opinion? share your experience here
It depends on your knowledge about crypto and how much time you are ready to spend on it.
If you are a newbie, then doing bounties for several months could be a good start. Anyway you will get tokens that are to be sold, so bounty also involves a bit of trading.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty is like a Box Chocolate on: October 01, 2018, 02:46:26 PM
Being on a bounty campaign is like a box of chocolate you never know what you're going to get.

conclusion:

You never know that a Token you're gonna get have some worth or no.

don't you agree guys?

Can't agree with that as I always know how many tokens I would get for my work.
Another problem is that the tokens price can drop several times while you are waiting for your bounty reward - but that's the law of the jungle and you can never influence what is happening on the market.
84  Economy / Economics / Re: Asians are the most bitcoin holders in the world. on: September 30, 2018, 08:33:18 PM
bitcoin was born in Asia and the majority of users are also Asians. Is it true that the majority of bitcoin holders are Asians. anyone can tell me
This might be true, though I'm not sure there some kind of statistics regarding the nationalitites that hold the majority of btc.
Asians in general are prone to demonstrate great interest in new technologies, so I'm not amazed with the fact that they are so deeply engaged in crypto.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Technology improves we work more. on: September 30, 2018, 08:22:02 PM
The goal of technology was for everyone to have easier lives and work less. Well todays generations have it much tougher.  They are working for much lower wages and longer hours.  Its next to impossible for millenials to purchase a house on their own.  Something here itsn't right, Capitalism?
There's something wrong with your statement about lower wages and longer hours.
There in Europe they are experimenting with a 6-hour working day and a universal basic income everyone will get when robots replace humans.
Yes, there are a lot of countries where workers are paid pennies but this trend is gradually changing.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think ICO investors are Decreasing? on: September 27, 2018, 05:17:32 PM
I think ICO investors are decreasing day by day. Many well rated ICO projects can't make even the soft cap! I think this fall of ICO is happening because of the lack of investors! And many Investors stopped investing because of the bear market. What do you think about this?
It is a natural decrease of interest from the side of investors compared to market boom in late 2017-early 2018 when ICOs grew like a weed.
Everybody is tired now and a bit afraid because the market can't recover for several months already and many coins like Eth and NEO are in their lowest dip.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which one is better to buy altcoins or bitcoin on: September 27, 2018, 05:14:12 PM
I am now confused, I want to ask you all, which one is better to buy altcoins or buy bitcoin, which can earn a lot, please give your answer
Bitcoin is a good long-term investment, and with alts you can make easy quick money (provided that the market conditions are better than now).
Though some altcoins are also OK for long-term holding, as their price can jump one day to +50% like it recently happened to ripple.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters are a job? on: September 27, 2018, 04:44:24 PM
Do you think bounty hunters are a job in your spare time, additional income or is it the main job and the main income of people?
For me doing bounties is a kind of a hobby, and I haven't yet earned some big money from doing those simple promotional tasks.
Though I know there are a lot of people who dedicate full working days to bounty hunting - one FB/Twitter account can take part in like 10-15 campaigns at a time.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: People are not motivated by money. on: September 26, 2018, 04:11:16 PM
I always hear the argument for capitalism "B bb BUT people won't innovate without the profit motive" WRONG

Humans want to solve problems, create, and innovate, they do not need money to motivate them.  Cavemen were painting art 20,000 years ago without the desire of money.

True scientists like Tesla, he didn't care about money it was about the pursuit of science.

Capitalism does not cause innovation, most new technology is found by government programs like nasa (internet, smartphones, etc)
Many "true" scientists like Tesla started their careers as almost beggars and were forced to do some extra jobs to earn their living.
When one has to constantly think about his and his family's bread and butter, scientific research becomes less productive, so in this way money helps geniuses to focus solely on their inventions.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we teach children to have businessman mentality or be successful employee on: September 26, 2018, 04:02:51 PM
We all have that thought why do Chinese people actually make it in the business world. The reason apparently is that at an early age, their parents are conditioning the minds of their children to do business in the hopes that they will actually be heirs to their family business.
In your opinion, should we be teaching them the same or teaching them to be successful employees for the sake of climbing up the economic ladder?
At all depends on the mentality of children - some are prone to absolute obedience and can be good average workers and others have those leader's skills and become successful businessmen. Ideally, an educational setup should reveal the psychological tendencies of a child and teach him accordingly.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto bring more risk than benefit? on: September 26, 2018, 03:57:23 PM
Central bank Governor of Spain has told the cryptos bring more risk than the benefits to get. but I believe on more risk more gain theory. If you can not trust crypto, you will not be able to see its value. Risk is associated with all kinda business. It just has to be calculated properly that which one would be profitable for you.

please share your thoughts in favor of mine statement or against.
Nothing depends on you on crypto market (if you are not a whale, of course), so you just have to follow the fluctuations initiated by other people.
Yes, you can reduce the risk by diversifying portfolio, doing technical analysis, trying to predict the market behavior, but it could all be ruined one day just because of some bad news like the rejection of bitcoin ETF.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Red Period but be Patient on: September 26, 2018, 03:25:59 PM
Dear all

now we are on deep red period. some portfolios may drive in to 70% loss. but do not sell please hodl.

at last i have to say , do not sell your portfolio for loss.  if market grows we have to expect downs , thats normal.  be patient
Frankly, I'm tired of being patient. When I entered crypto I hoped for some extra earnings but it all ended up in constant waiting, which is really frustrating.
The main problem is that nobody knows when the market will be pumped again - we can spend years waiting for the miracle that will never come..
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much you can profit from altcoins on: September 26, 2018, 03:17:01 PM
I want to find out why everybody wants to invest in altcoins, what I want to ask is, how much money did you get from altcoins so far?
An average investor can get up to several dozens of thousands of dollars provided that a coin (or coins) was sold at a price several times higher than ICO price.
Of course that doesn't seem like becoming a millionaire but that's still a good extra income. And don't forget that this is very unlikely during the current downtrend when almost all coins are worth 50-5% of their initial value.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam coins everywhere. on: September 25, 2018, 01:25:06 PM
It really is hard to believe that there are some ICOs who are intended to scam people. There are all hypocrits and rely on the weakness of people especially those who are new to bitcoin. So sad.
It is mostly the people's own fault that they allowed to scam themselves.
Didn't do enough research before investing.
Didn't analyze is the project team is real and whether they are active.
Didn't figure out whether the product will be demanded.
Didn't account for the current market situation.
There are so many steps that need to be taken to choose a good project. I just wonder why people sometimes neglect this analysis.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People say altcoins won't survive on: September 25, 2018, 01:16:09 PM
Many community members have been claiming lately that altcoins are going to die or at least that 90% of altcoins are doomed. I tend to agree with them that there are many coins and tokens that are pointless and won't survive. Another cathegory are alts with solid foundations but won't manage to fight with their competitors as naturally there are numerous projects with same visions. But if you trust the project you invested in, there is no reason to change your mind just because someone says many altcoins won't succeed. Do your research and trust only your own judgement, because many ALTCOINS ARE HERE TO STAY!
Most alts have no real value unless they are backed up by a ready product.
Tell me what projects can boast such a product? Their roadmaps promise us that something will be ready by this or that time - but in reality they are all making it so slow..
Anyway, I hold to several tokens and hope that they will skyrocket in the nearest future.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto solve socioeconomic problems? on: September 24, 2018, 04:29:40 PM
If everyone around the world gets into cryptocurrency, do you think it will even help in solving or lessen socioeconomic problems? Can it be used to buy goods from other countries? It is fair to say that crypto will help a lot of people but what will it do to one's country? Will it help improve a country's economy?
Adoption of crypto could be one of the small stones to build the fundamentals of a strong economy - it is the sign of general liberal trends in the way business is done in a particular country. Though a fast growth of the economy due to crypto is impossible since there are too many difficulties to be dealt with and too many people to be taught how crypto world works.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Will countries or central banks create their own cryptocurrency? on: September 24, 2018, 04:13:08 PM

A few countries and central banks have been talking about “digital currency”, and most of them are carefully ignoring the term “crypto”. Fact is- digital currency is not the same as cryptocurrency. These countries/central banks are recognizing the benefits of the digital currency features of cryptocurrency, but they don’t want any of the decentralized uncertainties that come with blockchain-based currencies.
Will countries or central banks create their own cryptocurrency?

The main peculiarity of cryptocurrency is that it can be mined by anybody and almost in any place having Internet connection. These very efforts of thousands of miners give the actual value to crypto.
Image that a bank decided to invest in mining equipment and issue their own money - will they be as anonynous and demanded as conventional cryptocurrencies? No. So that's actually the answer to your question.

99  Other / Archival / Re: is EVERY ico a scam?? on: September 13, 2018, 03:43:36 PM
Everybody keeps on saying scam scam scam for all of these ICO's. 90% of them are crap, yes. BUT there is the 10% of them, like vector, who are absolutely not scams. They are good projects that will really help the crypto community grow and its not fair to call an ICO a scam until you have actually researched it and you are sure it is a scam.

Just my two satoshis...
I heard recently about an analysis saying that around 85% of all ICOs in 2018 were scams or didn't fulfill their promises to the full extent.
A bit lazy now to search the info about vector, just hope that this project met your expectations and you reached your goals.
100  Other / Archival / Re: Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world? on: September 13, 2018, 03:40:57 PM
Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world?

Why do think so?
What changes crypto made?
I don't think crypto is changing something in the world's structure and the way it interacts. Currently, blockchain is just another example of how far technologies can go. It could take several decades for people to realize the whole potential of blockchain - I would be too old then to seriously think about these changes   Cheesy
