How can a pump be fake when it involved real money?
If you think this rally is fake, feel free to sell on every pump.

If we have to, we could all flock to a 3rd-world country and live among the locals, explaining Bitcoin to them and the like. (Or, we can finally fund the freaking Bitcoin island idea.)
People in the 3rd world do not really care about bitcoin. Day to day job are constant struggle not only against government but local thug.

Sell bitcoin and buy gold. Gold will always have value.

I don't recall any civil wars or widespread beatings/executions when people found out their neighbors immediately sold their Zimbabwean dollars for USD. I don't see why widespread BTC preference over failing national currencies would be any different.
People are really really really dumb.. really dumb, the gov will spin it that it is some our fault everything crashed. Remeber people are really stupid and believe what ever the fancy TV tells them. Only the young generation willing to go out and protest. The older one usually know how futile the situation is and choose to stay at home and watch tv.

If there is someone paying for it, then yes, it is worth 1M. That is the concept of free market.

The future currency will probably be replaced by crytocurrencies.
Only difference will be who is backing them, either government or free market.

Only bitcoin value is going up based on your choice.
The rest of them slowly fading away.

This is a beautiful pic that sums it all. Im going to translate this and show my parents and non geeky friends. It's easy to see how BTC is a legitimate place to put your wealth into. I hope when the world realizes this I have enough BTC to call it a day.
This chart is true for any crypto currency, but I don't see all altcoins succeeding. There can be only one. Lots of new coins coming up. I won't dismiss all of them yet.

Devils advocate. What's backing bitcoin? If value is subjective, nothing can back anything and ideed it does. Backing is just a promise waiting to be broken. Right. And there is no such thing as "intrinsic value" that is not subjective. Gold has value because we give it value. It is worthless to non-human.

Wish I have the spare cash for 5 bitcoins.
Where did your store the 15 bitcoins? Storing the coin the right way is just as important as convincing your mother to buy 15 bitcoins.

That Chinese seller is probably moving to or has been selling on AliExpress.
They blow away the eBay/Paypal conglomerate due to the escrow service. Sellers don't get money until buyers receive their product.
Once Alibaba IPO is released, they should get more Western visibility.
US market is shrinking. First, the financial elite gutted the manufacturing sector. Then the retail and service sector. Eventually, even the financial center will leave US and move elsewhere.

Darkcoin is soon moving from the the speculation phase to the adoption phase.
Will buy after it get into adopting phase. Buying now is just gambling and speculating that it will succeed.

People are losing faith in darkcoin based on price indicator.

Lots of people invest quite a bit of their saving in the early days of bitcoin when there is no usage and no adaptation.
Who is laughing now?

I must remark that I'm not a full newbie. I understand most of the concepts behind coins. I was considering buying Ethereum and despite its interesting concept, I decided to go against it. I've never heard of Maidsafe and Storj so I will look into those as well.
I was joking about Ethereum/Maidsafe/Storj there are all scams disguised in "project that will change the world". They did succeed in changing the price of bitcoin as they cash out.
