81  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying goods or services using crypto on: October 19, 2021, 09:55:09 AM
as we've been in a state of bear-trend for almost a year, i'm trying to find another usage of my eth and btc except hodling. do you know any real working crypto-marketplaces? probably it's not a bad option and i would find something really worthful to buy without any doubts of being scammed. kindly waiting for your feedback
Digital currency can be used to make healthcare payments, I don't know whether you've heared anything about Solve Care, but you can pay for healthcare administration using solve tokens.
82  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do exchanges steal your coins when locked out? on: October 19, 2021, 09:48:32 AM
I'm wondering if exchanges can cash in your coins if you get locked out of their exchange.

Decentralized exchanges (the ones without without a central authority) can't do it, they do not know your private keys. So I would advice you to rather use them.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Gold: Superiority on: October 15, 2021, 08:39:39 AM
Question

The price of gold fell 10.5% since the beginning of the year, but the price of Bitcoin gained 332%. Bitcoin, in the same decade, has returned 146% annually, compared to gold's 0% per year. Is it really necessary for us to still debate which of the two is superior?

Here are my thoughts

A valuable store of value and medium of exchange, gold has been around for five thousand years.

Despite Bitcoin's success, do not let your enthusiasm for it turn into arrogance or (worse still) stupidity. In addition to bitcoins, the world values many other assets, including gold and oil.

How do you feel about this?
There is a reason why some rich people prefer gold and oil to crypto: uncertainty.
Cryptocurrency has no backing entity, and no certainty. It isn’t even very easily predicted since it isn’t tied to real world assets. Money and investors like predictability. But even though it's not a traditional investment, it surely is a good type of investing, especially when you use your head.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin truly a safe-haven asset? on: October 15, 2021, 08:20:32 AM
Bitcoin evangelist has always attributed Bitcoin to be a safe-haven asset, while extreme fanatics believe that Bitcoin is far better than gold. Bitcoin was born in the wake of the 2008 financial crash as a libertarian currency and as an instrument that could help cushion the event of a future financial crisis.

Since Bitcoin is purely a speculative risk asset, many people have doubted its position as a purported safe-haven asset, I am not one of them anyways. However, since Bitcoin hasn't witnessed a global recession yet, I feel Bitcoin hasn't sufficiently defended its narrative as a safe-haven asset.

As the possibility of a global recession intensifies, what's your take on the possible performance of Bitcoin? will it go down with the traditional market or will it defend its name? I am very much interested to know.
I've recently read an article in Forbes about it and I really liked the quote of Joe DiPasquale, the CEO of cryptocurrency hedge fund manager BitBull Capital, he “bitcoin is positioned very well to be a safe-haven asset.” And I can agree with that.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to see Bitcoin legal in your country? on: October 15, 2021, 08:10:55 AM
Bitcoin is still legal in many countries and illegal in many countries. Do you want, Bitcoin to be legal in your country?
Do you feel the need to legalize Bitcoin in your country?
Are your ideas about Bitcoin positive or negative?
What is your personal opinion about this?
What do you think, if bitcoin is legalized in your country, the country will be improved or will be damaged?
I definitely want Bitcoin to be legal in my country, and I feel the need to make Bitcoin legal in my country.
I'm not sure everyone will be happy about this, because legalization means that cryptocurrency will also have to be taxed. However, I personally would not mind it, cause that might open a lot of new opportunities.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am new to Bitcoin and have been using Coinbase only. on: October 15, 2021, 07:46:41 AM
I am new to crypto and everything I have done has been strictly through Coinbase. I don't have a key or anything like that.

Is my crypto safe?

What can I do to make it safer?

Everyone talks about keys, what exactly is a key. Where can I purchase one and how does it work.

Thanks and good luck to everyone. I am already up about 22 percent on my investment and extremely happy. I do feel that BTC will go to the moon.

I have two life hacks: spread assets across more than one digital wallet and use cold wallets
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of the best coin Bitcoin on: October 15, 2021, 07:34:44 AM
In the world of online platforms, 80% of people are now involved in information and communication technology. Cryptocurrency is now the most popular of these different types of information and communication technology sites. Cryptocurrency is now in the best position. Bitcoin is one of the best cryptocurrency tokens. Which is now called the lifeblood of cryptocurrency. In addition to Bitcoin, there are some popular coins such as Ethereum. By 2025, cryptocurrency will be 80% inclined. No matter how low the price of Bitcoin, Bitcoin will remain popular.
Bitcoin has been around for the longest of any cryptocurrency. It’s easy to see why it’s the leader, with a price and volume that’s higher than any other investment option. Even with thousands of other cryptocurrencies on the market, Bitcoin still represents over 43% of the cryptocurrency market cap. So I agree Cool
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have any real value? on: October 15, 2021, 07:13:20 AM
Bitcoin is not backed by any physical asset like Gold nor by any fiat currency. It makes me wonder if I should invest/trade in Bitcoin or not?

Yes, economic growth measurements that typically influence the value of currency do not apply to Bitcoin, you have to keep in mind that BTC prices are influenced by the following factors:the supply of Bitcoin and the market's demand for it, the cost of producing a bitcoin through the mining process, the rewards issued to Bitcoin miners for verifying transactions to the blockchain, the number of competing cryptocurrencies, regulations governing its sale and use and the state of its internal governance, news developments.
89  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Types of Scams in Crypto - Awareness on: October 15, 2021, 07:05:57 AM
I will add one more.
Youtube videos with "NFT 100x PRICE GROWTH IN 2 WEEKS MUST BUY NOW"
I see a lot of crypto youtubers add those clickbait on the thumbnail and the title. But they actually a paid youtubers that paid by the projects team to promote their projects.
Maybe it's not really a scam literally, but newbies who just joined crypto and already saw many tokens like shiba or doge, will trapped into this. So be careful if you're a newbie
This is a strange thing to call a scam, cause then even advertising can fall under the word, you have to always think properly and choose accurately who to trust when it comes to investment or exchange Wink
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Movies. on: October 15, 2021, 06:54:12 AM
If you are a fan of Movies, then you will know Jason Momoa. This year on August 20, Jason Momoa has touched Bitcoin in his movie "Sweet Girl" and has been one of the trending Netflix movies that have been watched by over 10 million people so far. In this movie at the end we see Jason Momoa's daughter (Isabela Merced) going to Bitcoin ATM and exchanging her money from Fiat to Crypto.

Jason Momoa is a very popular artist, some of his other movies like "Aquaman" were watched by over 60 million people and made a profit of more than $1.3 billion so it is my hope that "Sweet Girl" will be more watched.

The act of her daughter changing her money to crypto clearly showed that crypto is more secretive because she exchanged her money when she was fleeing from her country to another country and was being hunted by the government. This means she did it because she believed even if she was arrested by the government her money would still be in a safe place in the crypto world.

Do you think that if these great actors in the film industry will continue to integrate Bitcoin and other currencies into their works will they help add new stakeholders to the crypto world? Because I believe in 10 million viewers, then at least 1 million will want to know why the girl changed her money to Bitcoin, and that will be the beginning of them learning about Bitcoin.

What is your opinion on this?

Cryptocurrency (not only BTC) will soon integrate not only into movies, but also into peoples lives, the statistics on how many people have it is already shocking Wink
