81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pre Sale vs Public Sale on: April 03, 2018, 10:03:36 PM
If bonuses are higher on pre sale, why do so many people wait for public sale?   I seen thrive get a huge jump on public sale?  I don't understand?
Many invest in the public sale because of the fact that there was a successful collection on the pre sale. And sometimes on  Pre sale has a limit on the amount of investment (for example, from 5 ETH). And there were also crooks who collected money on the pre sale and fled. Many nuances.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams on: March 30, 2018, 09:28:55 PM
Saw this study on twitter... https://twitter.com/Zeex_me/status/978981735101878272

I've seen a lot of people asking about how many legit ICOs there are, so I thought I'd share

Quote from the article: "The study begins by breaking down ICOs into 6 groups: Scam, Failed, Gone Dead, Dwindling, Promising, Successful. “On the basis of the above classification,” they wrote, “we found that approximately 81% of ICO’s were Scams, ~6% Failed, ~5% had Gone Dead, and ~8% went on to trade on a exchange.”

"Scams were defined by researchers as “Any project that expressed availability of [an] ICO investment (through a website publishing, ANN thread, or social media posting with a contribution address), did not have/had no intention of fulfilling project development duties with the funds, and/or was deemed by the community (message boards, website or other online information) to be a scam.”

DYOR people ...
Everybody knows about it for a long time. This is bad statistics because there are so many fraudsters on the market, I hope that the statistics will soon improve and people will not invest in SCAM projects.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee said about Ethereum on: March 30, 2018, 09:24:25 PM
Lately, there are so many who make the speculation that Ethereum will beat the bitcoin price. Including John McAfee also said so and stated the possibility could happen. The smart contracts implemented by Ethereum have allowed companies to collaborate with Ethereum and join to build crypto into a faster payment system than any other system. What factors do you think might allow such speculation to occur?

I think it's nothing more than words. The ethereum is definitely a promising project, but one must understand that Bitcoin is the basis, and no one will overtake him on this market.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STQ! on: March 30, 2018, 09:21:35 PM
Interestingly,  I already had this asset but sold it for 40 sat, but you can think about re-buying
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Alt's are dropping! on: March 30, 2018, 09:19:13 PM
Selling is not always panic selling. There is moment in which you simply have to protect your assets and sometimes that means being fuly liquid instead of fully invested.
If the price could go much higher than the price that you are looking at right now and you sell it then it would be considered a panic sell.
I Agree, people just need to understand if you do not see the prospects of the project, only sell it, but if you understand that this asset can cost much more than that, of course, sell it will now be full of nonsense
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end? on: March 29, 2018, 10:04:26 PM
All the coins are drastically going down, and is really scary
I agree with you, this is really a very sad picture, but I would advise you to sell nothing at all, I do not think it's the end
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you having a great time? on: March 29, 2018, 10:02:42 PM
While we are sinking to the bottom? hopefully Grin
Well, for those who have not yet bought a cryptocurrency, the time is beautiful, and for those who bought that bad. They only have to wait
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OFFICIAL: COINBASE/GDAX to list ERC20 tokens soon on: March 26, 2018, 09:48:58 PM
Coinbase has just announced that they are going to support ERC-20 assets, meaning that Ethereum tokens would be added to GDAX and later on possibly to Coinbase.

This means any of these coins can get a listing on GDAX + COINBASE soon. Great news I'd say!  Shocked

PS: what's your best guess for the first listing?

PPS: there's a framework for listing on GDAX, here's the document

Finally good and really cool news. I think that it can give a new impetus to the entire market
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH dead as ICO cools down on: March 24, 2018, 09:09:44 AM
As ICO cools down and a lot of projects are even dumping at lower prices than ICO, is there any hope for ETH prices to shoot again? Also there are some news that ICO projects are cashing out the large amount of ETH recently which even give ETH a more harder hit than other coins.
I think that the ICO does not have a great influence on the price of the Ethereum, they usually have effect, but it is not as significant as it seems. I think that the price may still fall slightly due to bitcoin instability. But I hope that soon everything will begin to grow
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cloud mining on: March 23, 2018, 09:18:12 PM
Hey. What do u think about cloud mining? At first, I know that now it's not profitable. Also for join u need a lot rich friends or traffic in social media. Maybe smb has inside or more deep knowledge about CLOUD MINING. Thanks.
I think that all cloud mining, it's a scam, because you just give them money and do nothing and pay you the imaginary percentages. Ponci
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Just RELAX, it will be OK! on: March 22, 2018, 11:30:23 PM
Why are people panic selling right now? Scared of a little regulation? That is bull! G20? All they might do is AML prevention. If you are not laundering money, nothing will happen to you!! And we don't want money launders in our midst anyway! Chillax, it will be OK!
I Agree. Do not need to worry anymore. The more news is good, just have to wait and soon the price will grow very quickly
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best altcoin to invest right now? on: March 22, 2018, 11:24:12 PM
Since most of the altcoins market now are falling, I'm thinking in starting invest however I would like to like to know what is the best option.

PS : I know that diversify the investment is the best option however would like to hear from other people .

Personally, I invested in NEM yesterday. Very promising project, preparing a catapult, and a very good price. One of the best options for the moment
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs should allow for donation? on: March 22, 2018, 11:21:49 PM
Option for "Donation" should be added for those who do not want to invest in ICO. I have never invested in ICOs nor owned one... reason being that many see it as means to make lots of money including the fact that there is too much confusion and pressure on project owners. The greed and wailing were extremely annoying. I just want an environment where people can invest in projects they love, discuss and monitor the projects for progress rather than scream about lambo, moon and scam. This were partly responsible for "corruptions"  meddling in their cure in the name of Regulation.

This method should be one of other ways to raise funds.
I do not think that it's worth creating a donations for those who do not invest in ICO. You can take risks and invest, and you can not invest. Your choice. So, it is possible to create donates for those who lost their money on ICO.  Therefore it is better not to create any donation. Only donations on charity
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETH 460$ on yesterday? on: March 20, 2018, 09:25:37 PM
What disaster is happening to ETH?  Huh Huh Huh
Nothing strange, just bitcoin fell sharply and pulled the ethereum behind himself . The situation is improving now
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Finally spring bull run is coming? on: March 20, 2018, 09:12:55 PM
I wonder if the bearing sentiments have passed for at least a month or two and it's time for bull runners now? What are the expectations for April-May 2018? I understand  the whales fixed their income and closed their positions with some profit and now the market will be slowly moving up. Is it the case? Additionally, I have read many comments and opinions about the ICOs confidence significantly dropping comparing to previous year, and now it became extremely difficult to find the right ICO to invest in...
I think that normal growth will begin in April, because if the market stops growing, all people will come out of for market and whales will not be able to earn, because at the expense of ordinary people they will earn huge sums of money
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 56% of ICOs fail and it's OK on: March 20, 2018, 08:56:31 PM
According to recent recearch, 56% of 2017 ICOs fail. And you know what? That's OK. 90% of startups fail but the rest grow so high that they compensate venture investors 90% loss and provide very high profits.

So the basic rules with ICOs are very simple:
1. Do the research before you invest
2. Diversify, diversify, diversify
3. Ignore news and HODL
With the first two points I agree, but with the third one is not at all, how do I ignore the news ?? If the team has fled, and there were news. What to ignore them?. This point is wrong, you should always pay attention to the news
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is deep over or it is just the beginning of the end? on: March 17, 2018, 10:30:29 PM
I think it's possible that we are going on $ 5,000. I do not really want this, but I see that this situation is highly probable
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The longer the bounty, the fewer the earnings? on: March 17, 2018, 10:26:42 PM
My friend just told me recently that he is leaving the bounty that we both joined last January. The ICO has been delayed many times and it is getting longer. He said that the longer the bounty period of an ICO, the fewer the coins that you will earn. So it is true based from your experience? Should I also leave or stay?
Not always the longer the term, the less coins, there are different cases. You should stay if you see the prospect of this bounty, in this project in general.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does affect you bearish market? on: March 17, 2018, 10:24:47 PM
How does affect you bearish market?

Today 2 of my friends brake partnership with me regarding crypto market. We had some collective investment , analysed projects together , sort them out and invested + created telegram channel with crypto reviews. A point is that one of them is crying like a bitch, after such a deep downside, every single hour for last 3 days he reloaded charts and calling  me like "Oh no, we are loosing money, we should sell".

Another guy decided that crypto isn't stable, it will die soon and there is a long way till profit, so he just claimed his  money back and now he is seeking for a usual job with regular income and stability.

As for me, I am crypto addicted person, and despite such difficulties , I will keep holding
Honestly, I'm really worried about what's going on, although I'm not the first year in this market, but I try to keep myself in hand and understand that this market and growth may be even stronger than a fall.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Crypto Markets Continue Their Slide…But Why?! on: March 16, 2018, 10:06:19 PM
All these coasters are for one simple reason:
In the market, major players are now playing a new strategy, they are pushing the market in different directions, with big capital, so many people want to earn money and go to margin trading, and here they start to cut their money. And big players earn a lot of money on this
