From my perspective, the factors that can enable that is dependent on the user. Some prefer to use Bitcoin, while some prefer using Ethereum. Also, Ethereum is better than Bitcoin and Bitcoin is better than Ethereum at the same time.
They’ve made several completely different design choices and as with every choice it opens some oportunities and closes dosens of others.
Bitcoin has emerged as a relatively stable digital currency. While ethereum aims to encompass more, with ether, just a components of its smart contract application.

The crypto market has been seen to be difficult in terms of precise prediction however, Ethereum has a viable idea which seems to signal a good future.
There may be other factors associated with ETH surpassing BTC but it must stand the test time.

As we've already seen ethereum has a huge potential not only as a currency but also as a decentralized platform. Smart contracts, it's key innovation, have played one of the key roles of the ethereum price rise and cryptomarket rise in general over last year, as they provide unlimited use cases for Ethereum platform. Would we have seen all the ICOs and dapps If we hadn't had ethereum and smart contracts? Probably no. Ethereum is a lot more advanced than bitcoin as a multifunctional platform, at least as of now. If it'll be further developed faster then bitcoin it has a chance to overcome it soon. But from the other side if we see another unpredictable hardfork one day, it'll be a huge step back for ethereum again. There are to many 'ifs' in this ethereum vs bitcoin question. |

Good words for my favorite coin. I believe in ETH and it seems to me that this is one of the best coins. This coin has several advantages over bitcoin now. And I am sure that in future ETH will improve.

He probably will get rekt if he wont hype the coin,as he is indeed a market manipulator he needs to save his ass from giving good statements to the coin.Ethereum is a great platform that is why it is the first coin behind bitcoin,but what if the vulnerabilities are true? that is huge losses coming for the ethereum bag holders and investors.

Of course, it is not always easy to express an opinion that is different from the majority opinion. It is always very difficult to swim against the current waves and lead arguments to alternative hypotheses. But all have own truth. Many have high hopes for bitcoin, and some are replenishing the wallets with Ethereum.

In addition, Panos Murdukutas, Professor and Head of the Economics Department of LIU Post in New York, also suggests that "btk is a soap bubble that will soon burst."

Is he ready to eat his dick? And no. ETH will never surpass Bitcoin. It had that chance back then when google and other social media platforms were allowing ICO ads but not anymore. ETH has 3 major problems now: 1) ETH network is infested by Bitmain's ASICs and because of this, loyal ETH shills who kept the network decentralized for this long are leaving. 2) Even if they kept the ASICs out, they'll still go PoS which is not the healthiest solution. 3) ICO ads ban. Without any new money entering to the ETH ecosystem, there is only one direction it can go. It is not up. (both against BTC and FIAT) |

I do not think that ethereum will overtake bitcoin because ethereum has smart contracts, so this coin cooperates with many and therefore grows and will grow in value. Bitcoin and ethereum have their shortcomings and dignities. Each performs its functions. However, even if you look at the plan of smart contracts, in the near future bitcoin also plans to implement smart contracts.

This man is never a reliable source of cryptocurrency shits,he is just hyping the coin because he has tons of ethereum's in his pocket that is why he needs to save ethereum's ass from getting dumped by most of the people who are doing panic selling right now.Only those good holders will win the game of cryptocurrencies,he is just doing this not for the coin but for his own benefits.

I'm surprised it's not back up to $800 yet.
I think he has a point in his tweet. Investing in ETH is the same thing as investing in any token that is created on it. The platform isn't going anywhere and as crypto grows, Etherium will grow exponentially.

I also used to believe ethereum will surpass bitcoin in short time but over time ethereum has not been convincing. The low swing of bitcoin should be a good time for ethereum, it has also been silence, not in the next 10 years.
