81  Economy / Gambling / Re: Help me find sites or telegrams to track fixed matches on: May 08, 2024, 04:29:47 PM
This is a quick fire way to get scammed. Almost all groups and websites that promise fixed odds are scams that will predict games same way as you would. Groups that fixed matches are kept tightly private, you won't just stumble on them while scrolling through social media or ask in a thread and get pointed to one.

Gamble for fun and and stake responsibly.

What currency do you want to mine?
Cloud mining is highly discouraged due to the risk it poses, you're better of joining a mining pool and earning based on the percentage of computing power you offer.

There are good wallets like electrum and Bitcoin core that gives you ownership of your wallet and requests no personal information.

83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Individual efforts and the progress of BTC on: May 08, 2024, 04:21:03 PM
BTC can act as a hedge in favor of a country's development which can contribute to controlling inflation in that country. Citizens of every country can use BTC to protect their wealth in times of financial distress and inflation.
The economy of a country will not be saved from inflation simply because the country adopted Bitcoin as a legal tender. If the nation adds bitcoins to its reserves it will gain from the appreciation of the asset, but if the country does not export goods or services or attract investors and tourists, the economy will be disposed to inflation.

Even if businesses choose to pay workers in Bitcoin, it will be adjusted with changes in inflation.

Dortmund are now through to the final. Great defensive and attacking play from them over both halves today and both legs during the course of 6 days. PSG out the pressure on as expected, throwing the kitchen sink at Dortmund and hitting the post and bar on many occasions over both halves.

What next for PSG? Mbappe moves on at the end of the season, do they replace him with a world class player or stick to their desire to build with young players building the team around the team.

Great first half from Dortmund. They limited PSG to shooting from outside the box, closed down the spaces and held the possession well when they got the ball. They also countered really well with Adeyemi almost giving them a two goal lead.

PSG will try to raise the tempe early in the second half but they will always be wary of how quick Dortmund can be on the break and will take care not to leave too much spaces behind. If it's still goallles at the 70th minute, then they can throw everything ta the Germans without bothering about the defence.

87  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Introducing the Bitcoin Scoring Tool: Seeking Your Valuable Feedback! on: May 07, 2024, 07:35:54 PM
"taint" and "clean" are not words that are associated with Bitcoin. 1BTC is equal to 1BTC.

Exchanges can filter as they wish, but that doesn't determine how Bitcoin operates and should not shape the attitude of Bitcoin holders. If miners start filtering coins on a high scale, then we will have a major problem.

88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Browsing Old Bitcoin Forums Blows My Mind on: May 07, 2024, 07:07:14 PM
A lot of people from the early days actually expected Bitcoin to blow up but couldn't predict how much it would. You don't stay any talk about a weird digital system which has no value and no history of you do not trust the technology behind it. Some of those users are still hanging around today, some of the wallets you checked may be permanently dormant due to lost keys, but a few are bidding their time to move their funds.

89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will blockchain survive the crackdown on mixers and anonymization? on: May 07, 2024, 07:00:37 PM
You're using bloclchain generally. Not all blockchains are decentralized or private, it's a technology that can be used and modified in different way, can even get more centralized than the financial system that is used by banks. If you narrow it down to Bitcoin which operates on a decentralized bloclchain, it will definitely survive the attack on pruvxcy through mixers and coinjoin services.

The authorities can only target and hurt Bitcoin indirectly by taking down services that allows privacy, but cannot regulate the Bitcoin network.

Imagine what is going to happen if we actually have a Champions League final between the Bundesliga teams, Bayern Munich and Dortmund. Of course that is highly unlikely to happen.
If that happens Dortmund will be looking to not only revenge the last final between both clubs when they had their golden squad, but also all the times they have just fallen short to Bayern in the league.

I can see Dortmund going through, PSG are not the strongest team at home and do not turn negative scorelines easily, ignore how good Barca made them look. But I can't see Bayern goin through. They threw their best at Real at Munich and it wasn't enough, let's see how they do in a sea of white.

Chelsea had another goal party, why at the end the Blues were so convincing. Try earlier maybe it will be something different. Shocked
Chelsea is still an experiment. They may have not been anywhere near this form in the beginning of the season but they were all over the place, playing great football sometimes and not so great on other times, and terrible a few times. Remember they got to the final of the EFL cup and the semi-final of the FA cup. They'll do better next season, Tottenham, not so much.

You should never invest if you're not certain of what you're putting your money into. What you shouldn't do is to get into a phase of wanting to learn everything about it or not learning anything cause you think there is too much to learn.

Focus on learning about what's important, why you want to get into Bitcoin, why is it a valuable investment, how much risk can you take on and how can you best secure your bitcoins.

It's actually getting faster.
The blockchain does not increase largely over long periods of time, in 2014 it was less than 200gb, ten years later, it still hasn't gone over 600gb. Download speed on the other hand is developing much faster, ten years ago 2-5 mbs was considered fast, today 500-1000 mbs is what's considered fast for most and some service providers can hit more than that.

So how many lost games has Tottenham in a consecutive way as I cannot remember the last game that they have not lost as of lately, sure they had some pretty strong opponents one after another but going and losing all these games without even taking just a single point,I think in 4-5 games even a weak team could have gotten one point.
They're a trash team and they don't frankly deserve to get into Europe. Aston Villa have had an amazing season so far with their limited budget and fully deserve that 4th spot.
Ange is a decent manager and they have some decent players but far off from a title challenging as they were posturing to be at the begining of the season.

95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any Live Charts to track Bitcoin Transaction fees ? on: May 05, 2024, 08:20:51 PM
I wonder how much good it would do to keep track of Bitcoin transaction fees, unless one is a professional trader to be concerned with such.
Bitcoin users buy and sell at intervals and will be very interested in how price changes. In this forum for example we have campaign managers who send out weekly payment and fees affect how much they will pay to do that, some participants who receive payments send them out to exchange wallet and ate dependent on tx fees as well.

Traders are actually those least bothered about fees. Most of their transactions are within an exchange and don't cost any fees until they wish you withdraw to their wallets.

Nah, this Tottenham will be doing Arsenal no favors and that will not be for want of trying cause they do not want their rivals to win the league but just that they're in too terrible a form and City and in too good a form. I'll hold out more hope for Fulham than the pair of Tottenham and WestHam.

Who saw the news some days back of clubs voting to put a cap on how much each club can spend in transfers and wages bases on their revenues, this is expected to take effect from 2025/26 season? I feel that will be one way to reduce the competitiveness of the league in Europe.

Great result for Arsenal, and great we extend the goal difference between us and City even further. If the do drop points it means there will be a match where they either don't gain any goal difference (a draw) or their goal difference drops (a loss). A draw is the best we can hope for at this time and if that happens there is almost no way they get a better GD than us in the other matches.

I was hoping Tottenham win against Chelsea, I need them to be strongly fighting for the UCL spot when they face City.

Great first half from Chelsea. They have bossed the game from the first whistle till the end of the first half and have a deserved lead at the half way point of the derby.

Both teams are fighting for different things, Chelsea are looking to make in into Europe after a disappointing season while Tottenham are looking to get into a top four finish after a very good start to the league after which they took a dip in form.

Chelsea so far are looking like the team with a target and may consider themselves unlucky to only be one goal ahead.
