81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new projects are now available for users for testing on: February 03, 2024, 12:31:16 PM
Can we expect any rewards , for participating in them in Q4 2023?
We can't expect too much from new projects. But I have also participated in testnets for several layer 1 altcoins which actually pay test participants. But unfortunately not everyone is lucky because there are always those who don't get a reward even though they have done all the testing tasks. So I think it depends more on luck. So it is also important for us to know or find out who the dev behind the project is so that we can have higher hopes if the dev behind the project already has a good reputation in crypto. Partners are also important to know on a project.
82  Economy / Economics / Re: Quitting Smoking Has Two Big Benefits. on: February 02, 2024, 03:24:54 AM
Quitting smoking has two big benefits, and I've been doing it for over 3 months. And both can be said to be long-term investments, apart from long-term health, the money used to buy cigarettes can also be used to invest and I invested in Bitcoin.
In one month I can spend approximately $90 to buy cigarettes, and the price of the cigarettes I buy is around $2/pack for one pack a day and sometimes more than one pack.
And by quitting smoking, I was able to increase my regular monthly Bitcoin purchases from a portion of my monthly salary as well as $90 per month in cigarette money.
And I definitely felt a difference in my health and also saw a difference in my Bitcoin holdings after increasing my purchases, and I wish I could do it forever. Honestly, even though I don't do it, sometimes I am still tempted to want to smoke again when hanging out with friends and also at certain moments.
And the strong reason I stopped smoking was because my wife likes to nag me if I smoke at home because I have small children, and over time I decided to stop smoking. And previously I tried it several times but failed, and now I haven't smoked for more than 3 months and I hope I can do it forever because it has two extraordinary benefits. Health and can increase my investment.
You made a wise move. Because not everyone is able to quit smoking. My husband used to be an active smoker but he has now stopped. And he stopped for health reasons. And now he has become a person who loves our health and lifestyle for the better. Every week we exercise and it also refreshes our minds. So that our business inspiration can develop again well. We run a business together, even though it's not a big business, it's enough for us and our family. It's great that you can set aside money for smoking. My husband did stop smoking but he became a lover of sweet foods and fruit 😂 .

Hopefully you can be consistent with your bitcoin investment.
83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: February 02, 2024, 03:06:53 AM
Base on what I have seen SPL are far better than MLS, it can not be compared their strength is not of the same size, I really pity Messi for engaging himself in that kind of weak club, he alone can not do it and will this result he will one day be sent off, because when he came him fan expectations are very high hoping to see change but it was getting worse am really afraid for him because all eyes on him.
Well, even though Messi is great, he cannot make a team good just because of his presence. And I think he chose a club that didn't suit him. Even though there have been many offers from Arab clubs to Messi. But it's a shame he refused because his wife might not agree if Messi went Arabic. Even though I see Messi being able to shine again like CR7 in the Arab League. Now we can even see that the quality of Arab clubs is much better than Inter Miami. Even though there are many ex-Barcelona players at Inter Miami. but still that's not enough. And I hope that with this result, no one will underestimate CR7, who was always thought to be the top scorer just because he was lucky because the Arab League was easy. Even though now we all know that the Arab League has developed and become very fierce. So CR7 can score lots of goals because he is a great player, not because this is an easy league.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Between new tokens and old tokens, which would you invest into? on: February 02, 2024, 03:01:57 AM
The bull market is approaching and after that, the altcoin season will start as it has done in other bullish time for the market. Everyone has to be planning for what they'll buying in preparation for the bull run therefore I have a question for everyone. What altcoins will you be buying in preparation for the altcoin season if you only have limited option to choose between investing in old tokens, projects that were launched before or during last bull market or tokens that were launched between last year, this year and the next year. Let assume you only have $1000 and you can put this money in 1-5 projects but they all have to be either old tokens or new tokens that you'll be buying. Which one will you go for, for those that will think they can choose the two type of projects, that won't be possible. I'm trying to see where the attention of investors go when selecting tokens to invest into for the altcoin season.
In fact I have both in my portfolio. But if I have to follow the choice between the old coin and the new coin and if I have to make a choice right now. So I will choose old coins that have been listed for at least 1 year. Because for me, those who have been around for a long time have seen where their lowest point is and where their hype can go. we already have the big picture about it. Meanwhile, with new coins, sometimes we don't know how far they can go up and where they can go down. So the risk is said to be much greater than with old coins.

87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: January 31, 2024, 02:45:42 PM
Well we can't miss this one. Because I think this match could be the history of the last meeting between Cristiano Ronaldo vs Messi on the field. Because we don't know when the two of them will meet again on the field. Because considering the age of both of them who are almost at retirement age. Especially Cristiano Ronaldo who in a few days will be 39 years old. Because on 5 February is the date of Cristiano Ronaldo's birthday. So that 3 days after the match Cristiano Ronaldo is even 39 years old. If Al-Nassr wins the match then it will be a special gift for Cristiano Ronaldo.

While Messi he is still 36 years old. So it is possible that his career will still last longer than Cristiano Ronaldo.

But I am worried about AL-Nassr, which actually has many of their main players absent in the match against Inter Miami later. Because many of the Al-Nassr players were absent because they participated in the Asian Cup and African Cup of Nations with their respective national teams. Mane has also been confirmed to be absent due to taking a holiday after Senegal was eliminated at the African Cup of Nations.
Most of the absentees are Al-Nassr players who defend the Saudi Arabian national team, totalling 6 players, they are Nawaf Al-Aqidi (goalkeeper), Raghed Najjar (goalkeeper), Ali Lagami (defender), Abdullah Al-Khaibari (defender), Sami Al-Naji (midfielder), and Abdel-Rahman Gharib (striker). But take it easy because there are still many good players who will play for Al-Nassr in the match against Inter Miami. So I personally am not so worried about Al-Nassr in that match. Because I prefer to enjoy the match as a neutral match and not support one of them. I prefer to enjoy every moment of the match between the two football legends. but if it's a matter of betting I will bet on al-Nassr of course.  Wink

88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are memecoins really important for the crypto market? on: January 30, 2024, 02:56:52 PM
I still think that the existence of memecoins is important in crypto. Because we can't deny that memecoin also brings more beginners into crypto investment. Although they may have come initially because of FOMO, they eventually learnt and started to become great traders in crypto.

I have traded in memecoin. I even invested a little bit in memecoin. But I have never had a big profit in memecoin. But if it's a small profit then I get it very often.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do low fees matter most in choosing crypto platforms, or other factors? on: January 30, 2024, 02:43:51 PM
When choosing a cryptocurrency platform, do you prioritize seeking out those with lower transaction fees, or do other factors such as security, user interface, or available features take precedence in your decision-making? Share your perspective below and let's discuss the key considerations within our community!

For me the most important thing is security. I would prioritize platforms that already have a good reputation and have earned more trust which is a sign that they can be safer than other competitors that don't have as much trust. After that I thought about low costs. And after that, the interface will appear comfortable and can be understood quickly and is also simple and not complicated.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins important? on: January 30, 2024, 02:35:46 PM
There is no doubt that the most appropriate long-term investment for altcoins is ethereum. me too. Even though it has several other altcoins, ethereum is still a priority compared to it. I usually sell other altcoins during bullruns so they are not long-term investments.
Most of us probably do the same thing as you. That is, altcoins that have been collected since the bear market will be sold in the bull run market. But personally, I will even sell ETH on the Bullrun market later. although it is only ETH that is the most trustworthy among all altcoins in the long term. But still I can only hold it for the medium term. Because my long-term investment in crypto is only bitcoin. Meanwhile, I think altcoins are only suitable for the short and medium term. But if you are strong enough to hold ETH in the long term then maybe you can get maximum profits. As long as you remain strong even though the bearish market will come again after the bull run market.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your Favorite Altcoin and Why? on: January 29, 2024, 02:57:56 AM
There are 1000's of Alternative Crypto-Currencies out there, but which one do you actually use?

Post your favorite Altcoin below and tell us why you think so.

Honestly, I'm confused about which is my favorite altcoin. But one thing that is certain is that I make several altcoins my favorites because of their transaction speed and the cheap fees required for transactions. Like Tron. But within the community solid strengths and worth holding onto are ETH and BNB.

And many more based on their different categories and uses that make me like some altcoins.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Blockchain Games Revolutionize the Gaming Industry? on: January 29, 2024, 02:53:52 AM
Blockchain technology is poised to revolutionize the gaming world, offering the tantalizing prospect of owning in-game assets as real-world items, seamless trading, and even player involvement in game governance. Projects like XAI are leading this charge.

XAI aims to bridge the gap between traditional gaming and Web3 by creating a dedicated gaming-focused layer3 blockchain, simplifying blockchain integration for all gamers. They've also tackled issues like high gas fees and complex wallet interactions with innovative solutions.

XAI has already secured listings on major exchanges like Bitget and Binance, attracting a crypto gamer community to explore this blockchain in its early stages.

Ultimately, I would love to hear your thoughts on XAI and the potential future of blockchain gaming.
I hope you include a link to the XAI you mean in your topic. Because there are several XAI tokens that have the same name, the difference is that other tokens are on other networks such as the BNB network.

Meanwhile, the XAI you mean is probably on the arbitrary network, right?
This is the cmc link from XAI that you mean, right? (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xai-games/)

At the beginning of its launch, XAI even had a positive response from the crypto community and they were immediately listed on the big market. And this indicates that this project does have great potential in the future. Offchain Labs which is behind this project is also quite strong in fundamentals from my view. But this is an altcoin so you still have to be prepared for the risks. Maybe this is already familiar to the crypto community, but I doubt it is widely known among game fans.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is GRIN still a thing? on: January 29, 2024, 02:41:04 AM
It's been quite a long time since the first cryptocurrency with the "Mimblewimble" privacy technique was released. My first days of using GRIN were quite troublesome due to its added complexity. But it's a great coin to use for privacy-oriented transactions once you get the hang of it. Somehow, GRIN became a forgotten cryptocurrency as all of the attention shifted back to Monero. Was this a result of poor marketing/promotion efforts? Or a lack of user experience?

I'm wondering if this coin still has a future, especially when privacy on crypto has been frowned upon by mainstream governments. Do you think it can be good long-term investment like Monero? Or is it a complete bust? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley
I personally had no prior knowledge of Grin Coins. But I hope I don't miss the mark when I find out. So allow me to ask whether the GRIN in question is this one GRIN (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/grin/)

If true, then it seems that this coin has begun to be forgotten. Even their ranking in cmc has reached rank 1000. But fortunately not everyone has forgotten about it because in terms of trading volume they are still ranked 734. After I read how this coin works. I think someday this coin will get some attention again. As long as their team is still active enough in developing and interacting with their community again

But unfortunately I see they are not very active. In fact I saw their Twitter made a post last time in 2022 and it wasn't good at all.

95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 27, 2024, 11:03:52 PM
Jurgen Klopp left Liverpool at a time when Liverpool was at the top of the standings and I saw that it was a very unexpected decision, I didn't expect him not to wait until this season was over, reportedly Moh Salah will follow in his footsteps leaving Liverpool, this is really a hard blow for  liverpool.
I think you misread the news because Jurgen Klopp is leaving Liverpool at the end of this season and not right now he will leave Liverpool. So Jurgen Klopp still has full responsibility for Liverpool at the top of the standings and at the same time bringing Liverpool to win the EPL. It won't be easy but Jurgen Klopp will try well considering he doesn't have much time left at Liverpool. Maybe Salah has the possibility of leaving and looking at the rumors he is a strong candidate for the first player to leave after Jurgen Klopp left.
Well Klopp will leave after this season ends. But still, Klopp's resignation announcement really surprised us all. I really don't expect him to leave this season. I still want to see Liverpool fighting with Klopp next season. But it looks like that will no longer happen. Because when he was asked, it turned out that he had already made up his mind to quit coaching. In fact, it is reported that he will also be absent for a while, namely around 1 year. And he reportedly will not accept offers from any clubs for next season. He seems to really want to rest his mentality as a coach. Because he seemed to feel pressured last season after he failed to get Liverpool a ticket to the UCL. And maybe he wants to leave when Liverpool gets better again. So he can still leave with a good record and good reputation.

I respect his decision. But it will be quite difficult for Liverpool to find a replacement for Klopp there.

96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 27, 2024, 10:41:17 PM
Barcelona is getting funnier and this crushing defeat against Villareal clearly punished them. It can be seen that there were so many mistakes made by the Barcelona defenders that it became easy for the Villareal players to break into the goal. I think Barcelona's big name has been destroyed and they will get worse. There is nothing Xavi can do and I think he must be aware of resigning as Barcelona coach.
Initially I tried to be kind to Xavi's performance as a coach. But now I am really disappointed with the strategy used by Xavi for today's Barcelona match. And the Barcelona players also didn't play optimally. How could they have made so many mistakes in that match? Even in several previous matches it was the same.

And the sharpness of Barcelona's attack line is also getting duller. I think it's time for Barcelona to look for a new, better striker. Lewandowski doesn't seem like he was when he was young. Last season he was still able to perform well. But this season Lewandowski's goal productivity has really decreased drastically.

I think the defeat against Villareal today was the worst. Luckily Real Madrid is not the same as Barcelona. Because Real Madrid can still win the matches they face and continue to collect full points. But actually Real Madrid also almost got a draw. Luckily that didn't happen. If it continues like this then I'm starting to like Girona who have become a pretty solid team this season. Because we can't expect Barcelona at all. Meanwhile, Real Madrid is still good. But sometimes I have concerns about this team. Because Real Madrid sometimes doesn't play optimally in matches against weak teams. And this could make them slip up.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 27, 2024, 10:31:04 PM
Many bet on Juventus and I bet there on Juventus winning even though it was only a narrow win, it doesn't matter in my opinion what is important is that they managed to get the full three points today because a one point difference with Inter Milan will not make Juventus comfortable at the top of the current standings, they have to can maintain that until the end of the season and win the Italian Serie A title this season as expected by all his supporters, Allegri must be able to pressure his team to play optimally in today's match.
They didnt win the game, which is a big surprise. They have won 7 games in a row and the 8 today should have been the easiest, but no, a draw. Maybe they played too defensive from minute 18, they lost one striker with this red card. Vlahovic scored his goal, but in the end Empoli had more chances to win, they shot 16 times at Juventus goal. Inter Milan play vs Florence tomorrow and if they win, they will be first in Serie A again. Juventus didnt get very important points today.
It's a shame that Juventus couldn't make good use of today's match. I don't know how, but Empoli has always surprised big teams since the start of this season. But they are still bad when facing ordinary teams. Meanwhile, Juventus has actually always been able to play effectively. Even though they are not aggressive in attacking, they are always good at defending and can still win the match. But today they were surprisingly held to a draw by Empoli.

Another surprising match today was Milan who were also held to a draw by Bologna. I didn't expect not to win the bet in these two matches. Honestly, I think one of these matches will match my predictions. Only Atalanta did not disappoint me in today's match.

I hope Inter Milan can play well in the match against Fiorentina. Because I'm sure there will be many who bet on Inter Milan.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asian Cup 2023 Prediction and Discussion on: January 26, 2024, 11:27:40 AM
Journey to the Championship

The group stage has finished and it is clear which teams will play in the next round of the 2023 Qatar Asian Cup.
Every team in the group has gone through all the drama and excitement that occurred in the group stage and now the Round of 16 will soon take place with new struggles and hard work to ensure they are the best team so they can go even further.
This year it looks like the AFC Asian Cup has become more competitive. And Indonesia seems very lucky because it was able to qualify for the round of 16. Unfortunately, they will immediately face a strong team, namely the Australian National Team, which is a national team at a very different level from Indonesia. But I don't want to underestimate Indonesia because they also have good potential if they can play more calmly and don't panic easily. Japan and South Korea will definitely be the favorites to fight for the title this season. So it is not surprising that Japan and South Korea are on different sides. And they weren't planned to meet earlier. Because excitement will indeed happen if the two meet in the final. But maybe in this season's AFC Asian Cup it will be the unseeded team that will be able to take further steps.
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time to buy BTC NOW? on: January 26, 2024, 11:02:14 AM
As you might know, the price of bitcoin reached its lower point since last month.

Should those who want to buy more do it now or do you believe we'll see the bitcoin price get down a little more?

Some here were talking about rumours of BTC being purchased from Saudi Arabia, but well, that's just a rumour.
But people tend to panic and sell, so this might be the best moment to buy as much btc as possible. What do you think?
Regarding Bitcoin, I am already optimistic that in the long term it has good upside potential. So no matter what news there is in the media, the news becomes fud about bitcoin which makes people panic sell. I didn't pay much attention to that. I only pay attention when the price is corrected then that's when I have to accumulate again. Because I reduced the accumulation when BTC entered 40k price. And I started accumulating more again when BTC corrected to 39 and 38 yesterday. But for traders it is very important to always pay attention to the news because traders rely on short-term market fluctuations. And it cannot be denied that the impact of news can be felt in the crypto market. So traders can make good use of it. But for long-term investors we only need to re-accumulate when prices are corrected.

I read the news perhaps only for necessity if I intend to trade in my spare time. So I will first research more news and look at market sentiment. And start to determine whether the market is in a bearish trend or a bullish trend in the short term. After that it became easy for me to determine whether I would be shorter or longer in future trading. For spots, I only buy when I see an event happening. Without it I avoid it.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What memecoins are you holding atm? on: January 26, 2024, 10:29:51 AM
You guys can also give me suggestions on memecoins, like what key factors should I consider before investing in it?
Even though it's only a small amount, I always don't want to miss out on the fun of crypto that is Meme Coin. It's just that I don't dare hold Meme Coin which is not listed on a major exchange. Even though it is true that buying a Meme Coin that has not been listed on many exchanges can provide the potential for a higher increase when the Meme Coin is successfully listed on many Cexes, it is still too risky for me. I don't really like taking much higher risks.

So I just choose and own several Meme Coins that are already on Binance. Like Pepe, Shiba and Doge. Apart from that, I didn't dare put my money in. Except only when there is hype. But it's only for the short term and I will immediately leave when I feel like I've had enough of the profits I've earned. Because being too greedy can sometimes only make us lose the profits we have obtained.

you'll only have luck with a small amount when the memecoin isn't yet popular and then in the later weeks it becomes popular and suddenly on major CEX. so if you have small amount in those 3 memecoins you mentioned then your profit will also be small. BONK would have been the best when it wasn't well-known yet.

if you couldn't find any memecoin that is pretty much new yet but has a big community then you best just stick to the old BTC. you can never go wrong with BTC.

I agree about that. I also prefer not to enter any altcoin if I haven't found a compelling reason to enter an altcoin. Because when I choose to enter altcoins I always prioritize fundamental analysis about the altcoins that I am targeting. If you don't find a strong reason or potential hype. So I'd rather not enter it. Likewise in Memecoin. I'm not going to jump in just because the memecoin just launched. But I will only enter when I see the potential in memecoin itself. It can be seen from the organic development of the community and from the way the project promotes among the crypto community. And we also have to see whether the memecoin has big investors behind it. If not then I would rather leave memecoins that don't have a big support behind them. Because to create big hype requires large capital and also contributions from big traders and big investors in the market. Without that, it is difficult for a memecoin project to become hype. And it can even end with the project stopping and no longer continuing.

Investing in BTC is certainly the best. But some of us definitely also have special funds for speculating in high-risk altcoins. Of course, the capital used is capital that is ready if there is no profit.
