81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current Financial Market Condition on: August 23, 2022, 12:47:47 AM
The issue of inflation growth is a world wide problem. It feels like every country is trying to cope with the aftermath of the covid-19 pandemic and its getting a toll on the economy. It's actually impossible to do without fiat as that's what is most acceptable for daily transactions.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATH for ETH on: August 22, 2022, 04:56:17 PM
I'm of the opinion that the PoS would bring about a positive impact on the value of ethereum. I really don't understand how miners earning would be inimical to the value of eth. Miners tends to dump the ethereum they earn to take care of the huge costs associated with PoW, this would change with the PoS and there would also be a burning mechanism effected on the ethereum blockchain which would contribute to the increase in value.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for altcoins ? on: August 20, 2022, 03:15:06 AM
Storing altcoin on exchange wallet is not an option as there's higher risk attached, the best wallets are the hard wallets, but you need to be mindful of the fact that not all altcoin are supported and as such its better to confirm if it supports your coin before deciding on which hard wallet to purchase. The free wallet like trust wallet and Atomic wallet are not bad either, especially when you don't have a substantial amount of assets to store.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth could take over BTC or not on: August 07, 2022, 03:47:46 PM
I don't see ethereum taking over bitcoin. They are actually two different projects with different use case. Bitcoin has its purpose to serve which is a means of exchange and settlement of debt, ethereum on the other hand has a use case for providing smart contracts and it has been great at it.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everything stop on: August 07, 2022, 02:43:58 PM
Hearing the news of Luna left me heart broken. Though I didn't have much of the token, I felt bad for those who had invested a substantial amount of their money on the coin. This has made me to be more careful about investing in altcoin as it seems to be more volatile. If I'm to invest for long term, then it has to be bitcoin.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one do you think its more healthy for a project on: August 07, 2022, 01:57:45 PM
Most especially new projects do you think its healthy to rush things up or take a lot of time and gradually release updates and follow roadmaps slowly? There are some complains that most projects aren't following the exact timing on their roadmap and some even takes this is Red Flag.

It's preferable when a project stands out for integrity. It feels better when the project publishes her road map and sticks to it. The road map was designed and published by the project without interference from the community. The project should consider every modality and strategy before coming out with a road map.

It's careless for them to go back on their word after telling the community about the plans and duration of execution. It only shows that the team are disorganized and lack the necessary skills to get this done properly and timely.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And good crypto app tracker on: August 07, 2022, 01:19:10 PM
Any android app that I can use to stay updated with a particular crypto project? For example Cardano, I want to keep getting every news that have ti do with cardano on my phone how can I make this a possibility?

To get update, you can turn on the notification on your Twitter app and follow the project telegram and Twitter accounts. You can also get updates from CoinMarketCap news. There are other applications that also gives updates when activated on your mobile device.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to take profits? on: August 07, 2022, 11:52:51 AM
I am mostly a hodler no matter the market going down or up. But sometimes I get the advice to take some profits.

Example: my investment of 300 euro becomes 500 euro. Is it better to take out my initial investment or only take the profit ? And reinvest that profit ?

How do you guys do this ?

I just feel like i'm missing potential profits by not selling and seeing my potential profits go up and down.

In my opinion, taking profits implies that you take something out periodically as profit comes. As you said, in a circumstance when the invested sum is 300$ and the profit is 200$, it may be wise to take 100$ out and reinvest the 400$. I feel its good to keep your capital as well as a portion of the profit to help you grow your capital for higher profits.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralized Exchange And Decentralized Exchange on: August 06, 2022, 04:24:12 PM
Good evening Ladies and Gentle,
As an emerging cryptocurrency, which platform is the best to list on for the benefit of both developers and investors?

I'm not a developer and don't know what developers are looking out for. But for investors I'll go with CEX. Though CEX could have a high listing fee but when a project is listed on a good centralised exchange, the liquidity tends to increase and trading fees are cheaper and investors would have the opportunity to earn more from the project.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: August 06, 2022, 04:15:16 PM
There are different approaches to making substantial profit in this space. One of the approach is getting a coin that you believe in and hold it for few years. It's easy to imagine having to buy and hold bitcoin in 2016. The profits would be unthinkable, if one only invested $10,000 in bitcoin and kept it for few years.

Some persons find it difficult to trade and as such have strategies to holding coins with great potentials for a long duration.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Classic Catches Triple-Digit Gains During the Last Two Weeks! on: August 05, 2022, 07:57:03 PM
Ethereum classic seems to be traded far lower than ethereum and that has made several persons see the coin or project as inferior to ethereum. I learnt that ethereum was coined out of ethereum classic, but still wander while ethereum classic has chosen to be static why ethereum is going higher.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should newbies Invest in new Projects on: August 05, 2022, 07:28:54 PM
One of the features of the cryptocurrency industry is decentralized and freedom of investors. Anybody can can invest irrespective of whether she's new or old, experienced or naive. Investing in new projects comes with both benefits and costs. One of the benefits is that the value could grow higher substantially and that could be excess profit and the cost could be that the project may be abandoned and that may spell doom to investors.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: August 05, 2022, 06:46:34 PM
Growth of one's portfolio and capital is an indicator of success in the industry. It's wise to be intelligent and intensional about growth, this will guide in making relevant decisions. Every trader should understand the importance of taking profits consistently and not waiting for the highest profits out of greed.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in June on: August 05, 2022, 04:37:45 PM
The market has been recovering to some extent and it seems like the recovery would continue for a while. I doubt there would be any major decline, though market corrections should be expected. I hope we can return to the bull market soon.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin made you a millionaire? on: August 05, 2022, 03:41:33 PM
From my analogy of the posts by several persons in the forum, there's a thin line between making a million dollars and losing same in the cryptocurrency market. Most persons had the opportunity to hold for a few more months or days, but chose the other way round and didn't hit the jackpot.

It feels like it takes more than technical analysis to succeed in the market. You also need a sound intuitive ability to foresee the turnout of events and the determination to persist even when everything seems to be contrary to your expectations.

I've come to realise that when I see people make good money from the industry, I know that some day, I would be in that position. There's a lot to gain from the industry. One only needs to be persistent and believe in the possibility.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or Gold Investment? on: August 02, 2022, 05:52:14 PM
To me both look good, investing in gold first or BTC later, but I'm confused by the current market conditions especially in terms of ROI, who is the fastest to move on?

Bitcoin is obviously more profitable than most investments opportunity, but the issue is that the value of Bitcoin is volatile and as such could be considered risky. But when it comes to gaining higher returns bitcoin has shown a more more progressive result over the years when compared to gold or stocks.

98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone tell me the advantages of buying TUSD instead of USD? on: August 02, 2022, 06:08:01 AM
It is said that TrueUSD is pegged to USD, but is TUSD value always the same as USD value? How is it any better investing in TUSD over USD?

The advantages of buying TUSD instead of USD?

There's no certainty when with TUSD, as it relates to being pegged with usd and as such I don't consider it advantageous. TUSD is just a token like every other tokens and has a lesser market capitalisation when compared with USDT. I'll rather invest in USDT or busd than TUSD. It's my personal decision and not an investment advice.
