81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LiteBar (LTB) - Reborn on: May 06, 2016, 03:59:58 AM
Hey Spidersbox, How often do they update the block explorer's top 100 list? I don't even see my address anywhere.

add: just checked my address in the search and nothing found....

just checked diff and blockcount and they match what is shown at the blockexplorer

add: I should be in first place for current balance and 3rd for received coins.

I'm skerred..

I've only ever solo mined them....

ok..even more wierdness.. I put my latest txid into the search and that shows up...what the heck doooooooooooooooooooooooooooood?

just put my oldest txid in and it does not show up... but has 18401 confirmations at this time according to my wallet.

I don't put much faith in the Litebar block explorer. I'm # 1 on the list, but the balance is 884 less than my wallet shows.
I would have preferred to use the same block explorer as Bitbar does but nobody would come up with the .8 BTC to bay for it - so I paid .05 BTC for the one we have.

my balance is in the 11000 range..but I'm afraid it might end up being less than half that...I'll check cryptopia's block explorer and if I can't find the older ones oh well i guess..  Cry

One thing i noticed while looking at my transactions in the tx tab of the wallet is some say like "6400 confirmations" and some say like" 6400 confirmations, broadcast through 17 nodes" but some with just the latter still show up in the block explorer. at this point I haven't been to cryptopia yet.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LiteBar (LTB) - Reborn on: May 06, 2016, 01:18:19 AM
It looks as if all the blocks I found before 4/4/2014 14:34 are not showing in the block explorer... I think I see why my address isn't showing up anywhere either is because when solo mining when each bar is generated it's "sent" to a new address everytime. That and if those blocks before 4/4 @ 14:34 aren't showing up then they aren't being counted.. I'm thinking about sending my entire balance to myself which should put all the litebars in one address.

I'm going to wait and see what you think first.

I've tested the new wallet spiderbox, nice work!

I'm glad you like it. Hopefully dreamwatcher will get the checkpoint server going soon.
The alert system is cool. I have to try really hard not to start sending out random messages   Grin

oh come on, stop resisting temptation..  Tongue

Is there a way to recover some coins that were sent to me before the first fork but never showed up in my wallet? Like, can I dl the old blockchain somewhere and add on from there as far as getting back to synced?

as long as you have the private key you should be fine. just import it into the new wallet.

That's the thing, I used the same exact wallet.dat and the same address from that wallet.dat. In my tx list @ hash-to-coins.com I see that they went out to that one address but never "made it", only the most recent deposit shows in my wallet. You saying I should dump the key and then import it back in? or import it into a completely new wallet.dat file?

can u paste the tx? yes you can try importing the privkey..

OK this is the tx for the most recent deposit that does show in my wallet which posted on 5/1/16: dbd65683b2b846ee91720f48b877a9f54e8b66ffc094eb5c8aa7da624c10393d
amount: 5320.90602958 XVG

This one does not show in the block explorer and obviously not in my wallet which I debited on 4/1/16: e2806e78a6a8d979239b5eb2c737506c9aceb9362ca536d89bf9508d3d180285
amount:1285.63896316 XVG

I'm going to wait to do the importing etc after the new win version of the wallet gets finished.

@giant - it's getting pretty warm here, pulled the plug on the X6's.....A2 still running (uses way less watts than the two X6's). I'm using the money for electric for miner rentals. MRR is pretty reasonable and I stay cool. Cool
Dev has a link on OP .

Hey Beachguy, you wouldn't have any A2 parts for sale? I have a blade that went caput in my 88Mh unit and looking to replace it. Been on ebay but not much there recently as far as parts. Its way too expencive to get a replacement direct or from alibaba.com even..

I guess this coin is dead then? I will leave my wallet running anyway.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BTB] The BitBar Information Thread on: May 02, 2016, 10:40:33 PM
I still think there is a wallet out there that has actual skins. Maybe I am mistaken and confused, Netcoin has "themes" which is pretty much a skin. I'll keep looking though but it might be the wallet I was talking about.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BTB] The BitBar Information Thread on: May 02, 2016, 01:04:59 AM

A chat would be cool I think.

I'm liking the skins idea also.

I know its kinda nerdy but it would be cool to have a stats list like how many people are solo mining with their wallets and other useless knowledge like how many pools are connected if either of that's even possible. Not identify them, just how many and maybe their hashrate.
I kinda like the idea of a chat window. It would be a real basic one. no login or 'memory' of messages before you start your wallet, or turn it on.
Maybe a bot to post random jokes every couple of hours  Smiley

I'd like to do skins too, but it might be a bit much for the way QT works.

I though about stats on the wallet like current price.
To track solo mining -vs- pool mining I'd probably need to know people's addresses, and a lot of people not want to share info, kinda goes against the anonativity (I think I just made up a word) of the whole crypto scene.

There's a qt wallet out there that already has the skins deal I just can't remember what it is right now. Once I figure it out I'll let you know and maybe it could be as easy as copy and pasting the needed code from its source.

I wasn't thinking by BTB address I was thinking by peers. Somehow monitor them for hashrate. We already know every peer's IP along with all the other info given when you use getpeerinfo in the console.

Will you make the BOT female and talk dirt to me? Like about different types of shovels, backhoes, front-end loaders and other related dirt moving/excavating/compacting equipment?  Cheesy
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BTB] The BitBar Information Thread on: May 01, 2016, 04:09:10 AM
Cryptopia says fixed but 40 BTB still missing. Now what?

If they are on the correct chain now and missing 40 BTB, weren't those mined on the wrong chain then?
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BTB] The BitBar Information Thread on: May 01, 2016, 04:07:32 AM
Here is the new windows-qt wallet bitbar-qt_v04_4_005.zip

This is a mandatory update:
Why ?
The checkpoint functions have been enabled, and we will have a checkpoint server up and running in a few days.
I've sent the private key to CCE so that our official node can also be the master node/checkpoint server.
Because lukemarshall paid for the CCE sponsorship - he has to give CCE permission for the changes, and it might take a few days for luke to get in touch.

Some of the other updates are:
Coin control - so you can join smaller blocks of bitbar's into larger blocks - like 20 BTB blocks for staking.
Staking icon - let's you know if your are staking, and gives a (very) rough guess as to how long your wait is before you stake - not when you get rewards, but when you can actually stake.
Zap wallet  -  This will remove all of the transactions out of your wallet, then re-scan through the entire chain for confirmed transactions. It WILL take a while, and your wallet will need to be restarted.

I added color to the wallet and added a link to the Bitbar logo so when you click on it, your web browser will open up to our Bitbar.co website.

I think that should do for a while, although I've been thinking about making the wallets skin-able, so you can choose different designs or colors..
Maybe adding a small chat window - opposite side from the logo ??

Thoughts?

I asked the poolmaster@H2C if he would add LTB and he said OK!

Litebar should get some more good exposure I think now.  Grin

WoW! it's already live! That was seriously fast.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BTB] The BitBar Information Thread on: April 25, 2016, 04:47:48 AM
I tried the "balance" option in cgminer between the new BTB wallet and 42 wallet and its working out nicely. I've never tried the balance option before. There doesn't seem to be any problems mining solo with the new BTB wallet either.

99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LiteBar (LTB) - Reborn on: April 20, 2016, 11:02:45 PM
Also lost 843 BTB. Again...fuck you Paul Vernon.

please tell me you mined all those instead of paying top dollar for them.. Shocked

looking back I glanced and saw BTC instead of BTB...not so bad now lol but that still sucks..if only there was a way to "FDIC" crypto..
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LiteBar (LTB) - Reborn on: April 19, 2016, 01:55:00 PM
I switched back to Bitbar. After the 10,000 Mh hit to the network the chain stopped moving, I'm getting just about every block - for now.

Maybe something is up with CCE? The reason I suggest this is because I don't have any addnodes in my conf and I delete the peers.dat file before startup usually to ensure I connect to CCE to sync. I'm not getting any connections at all right now after restarting the wallet. ..guess I'm not solo mining btb just yet.
Chances are you can't connect because CCE banned you for misbehaving.
try these:
addnode=65.102.140.115
addnode=98.115.147.74
addnode=167.160.36.162

You can leave the addnodes in your config. The wallet looks for btb.altcointech.net first thing when it starts regardless if you have addnodes or not.
One of the things you can do if you are having connection problems is delete peers.dat - it's a record of nodes you've connected to and the ones you couldn't connect to.

When someone started mining with 10Gh (10,000Mh), blocks were being made at around 10 seconds apart.
Bitbar's difficulty was intentionally made to change slowly.

CCE was able to stay up with the blocks, as was one of my three wallets, but a lot of wallets got kicked off the network. (banned)
It will take a while before the network is back to normal. Ban time default is 24 hours.

been noticing when I start the wallet i get a network alert but doesn't say what the problem is
