81  Local / India / Re: Since we don't have any traffic here. Why not merge all SA board to one. on: May 21, 2024, 02:53:57 AM
The suggestion is great and it will resolve the existing crisis. In the long term it will become complicated and more issues will emerge as politically, administratively, socially these two countries and our own are different.

I don't think there will be peace in the local board if such an arrangement in a few months time. Therefore it is better for someone from the existing core members to apply for a merit source. It will take time to approve but once approved it will solve a lot of current problems that we are facing.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A new type of shills similar to ICO scammers, this is called Key Opinion Leaders on: May 19, 2024, 07:29:59 AM
Isn't something like this has been happening for a long time now. Key opinion leaders if I remember correctly was introduced by a few projects before 2021. They were the one who were hired by crypto projects to bring in their influence network. It is known fact and it is something that has been on going and I don't think it is new in crypto space.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTX planning to payback customers, small account holders on the priority list on: May 19, 2024, 04:36:51 AM
I doubt those who lost will ever get their money back. I have read in the past that FTX was planning to refund the money. As of now it is just a speculation and there isn't any concrete evidence available that says it will happen. I hope that SBF rots in the jail even if they refund the money that they stole.
84  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Autotrading system on: May 19, 2024, 04:30:06 AM
Please keep in mind that automatic trading doesn't mean the bot will decide every trade. As a trader it only helps making trade faster and easier with the set of guidelines provided by the trader. It does increase the chance of earning profits but the decision to invest and exit has to be taken by the trader operating the bot. It is not an AI that takes all decisions in account to make a successful and profitable trade.
85  Local / India / Re: How whales convert their crypto to INR! on: May 19, 2024, 04:23:11 AM
Hawala system, obviously illegal in India under PML Act but it runs well and speculations galore, it is commonly used by drug mafias, underworld bosses to run their money.

Whether they use bitcoin, possible but they dont likely use the exchanges that we use. OTC traders exist in different difficult to reach sections of the internet and they are helping such users.

Most of them have hired CAs that are well versed with all these "cat and mouse" chase methods.

Hawala system is still active in India and most friendly country for doing hawala is UAE and UK. But, I doubt a whale will be interested in using this system. As you said they have CAs to take care of the tax I still doubt they will be interested in fiat. Unless they are using the crypto market to convert black to white.

^ Too many things happening around with the selection of chief coach. We will know who BCCI will choose in the coming weeks. For now I am shocked to see the amazing comeback of RCB. They have found the lost form and their fielding has been exceptional. Back to back wins and Kohli has been terrific with his strike rate. CSK did not take the game seriously against RCB their bowlers were inconsistent and bowled too many lose balls. Batting was below their own average, Gaikwad got out for a duck on the first ball shows how much he was aware of the field placement.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has chain link performed so far?? on: May 19, 2024, 02:58:34 AM
Seeing the recent news about some partnership involving link, got me to wonder. I've known this token for a while- about 3years and it's made little or minor progress. With the bull approaching, do you think now is finally the time for link to live up to expectations??

The overall crypto market had been bearish after 2021 and every crypto lost a significant amount of price in USD till 2024. When chainlink was launched it was the only Oracle solution provider but now there are others competing in the same space such as Band protocol and etc. The adoption rate is not that good and that might be the main reason why the price of their token is not going upwards. From my point of view I will keep a neutral stance for LINK as I still don't see any news that could increase its demand.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Important Questions about the Market and Alts on: May 19, 2024, 02:46:22 AM
Rather relying on the platforms blindly and investing in crypto with high volatility why not start doing your own research. Go to CMC and look into the top 100 crypto listed according to the market capitalisation. Do you research by checking which crypto are relatively new in the market and which are relatively old. Diversify your portfolio by investing in both old and new crypto keeping in mind the narrative. Hold them as long as you can until you reach the desired financial outcome. Another important thing is that you need to have patience in crypto market as the market here is not as smooth as the share market.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it still to Invest into meme coins? on: May 19, 2024, 02:16:39 AM
from the last 3 months i have seen 99% meme coins on solana and all of them turned out to be a scam or the best projects have been missed how to check weather a meme coin is a solid or not because what i found a good project but when its launched it turned out to be a scam how to identify the projects with the scam and recently i found a project called school of meme they said we are here to educate other meme coins lol but the positive sign is they bot and game is live so what you think a school of meme is quite a good project or it also going to be a scam one.

When I saw this thread I felt that I will be seeing some genuine discussion about pros and cons of meme coin and which meme coin to invest. When I read the topic it made me realise after seeing the url that it was click bait. Of all the scams happening in Solana network related to meme coin another shit coin shill topic was created. After visiting the website it is certain that the creator of this meme coin didn't even consider creating a good website. Most probably a rug and pull in the making.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kraken considers dropping USDT in Europe ahead of new regulations on: May 19, 2024, 02:02:22 AM
If USDT is no longer available, investors would be forced to find alternative stablecoins so that would be one of the aftermath of this decision. It is not like they can force the regulators to change their decision. The best thing we all can do is comply and compromise. It’s just a shame because I know many investors use USDT.

The law of the government rules over the land they are ruling. UK is known for its banking and it is one of their major industries. To prevent money laundering which is quite common using USDT they implementing tough regulations and eventually they will come up with their own version of stablecoin that will be pegged to pound. I reckon some sort of CBDC to track illegal financial transactions using blockchain technology. This is just the beginning and slowly most European countries will follow the same path.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance launches Notcoin (NOT) on launchpool. on: May 19, 2024, 01:52:50 AM

Yes bad thing I did transferred mine on Binance and they returned the tokens. Good thing on Bybit that they at least gave some compensation for their late withdrawal reflection on platform. Lucky those who withdraw from notcoin app to Bybit. Atleast they got some suprise reward for users. It seems they are the one leading in any case overtaking Binance.

I not sure whether Bybit in the future will overtake Binance as the number one CEX but what they announced as in thr compensation will certainly attract new users. It is always admirable to see businesses taking extra care of thier customers.

As Bitcoin goes into the gree zone I was expecting the price of $NOT to improve. It seems that selling pressure is more than the buying pressure. Cannot complain on the selling part as they gave the coins for free. Still it is able to hold on to the same price point and is not getting dragged down.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Predictions? Predict the new ATH! on: May 18, 2024, 09:48:57 AM
with its increasing popularity, I am very optimistic that ethereum will continue to develop in the future, where ethereum is currently still a companion to bitcoin at the top of the CMC, and until now there has not been a single coin that can replace ETH's position in the crypto market , and I think ethereum is very worthy of being a long or short term investment,

Quote
May 8 (Reuters) - Crypto asset manager Grayscale Investments' proposal for an exchange-traded fund tied to ether futures was withdrawn last week, according to a Tuesday notice from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
https://www.reuters.com/markets/currencies/grayscales-application-ethereum-futures-etf-withdrawn-2024-05-08/

It was saddened me to see that grayscale's decision to withdraw its Ethereum ETH has been giving significant impact to the performance from the club. The future of ethereum is very bright considering the fact that some popular companies have been aiming to send ethereum ETF applications.
This is also giving opportunity for us to see that ethereum's price is gonna be mooning again in the future. Im hoping ethereum can be added to the ETF caused by it will give significant impact as there will be a lot of money to flow in ethereum.

ETF is the only way for ethereum to get massive gain after it was so struggling to break 4k rate.

It is unfortunate that gray scale withdrew thier application before the decision. Due to which the current price of Ethereum is facing strong resistance. I am expecting it's price to further go down as the ETF will not be approved by SEC as reported by different crypto media house. Things are not going as expected by Ethereum investors and more bad news are on the way.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you remember Cogitex? on: May 18, 2024, 09:12:08 AM
yes I remember
Lol do you want to expound on that? You remember and then what? Let us please try and make a discussion here.

Do you mind sharing for those who are not aware what cogitex is? Or for those who do not remember what cogitex is? What was your thoughts on it back then and what are your thoughts about it now? It would be nice to share some perspective instead of just replying for a conversation ender.

This the first time I am hearing about this crypto project. Like OP this guy Di4cod presumed that it was a famous project and everyone here knows about it. I would like to know more about cogitex can someone here can give more information or if you think it is not worth it then it is ok.
94  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: "Slow success builds character, fast success builds Ego." Ratan Tata on: May 18, 2024, 08:41:30 AM
"Slow success builds character, fast success builds Ego."

This is very true as with fast success it is hard to understand the pain it takes to reach to the top. Whereas slow success is a mix of failure and pain through which a learning curve is formed. I have never seen a trader getting successful after one or three trades. It takes time, patience and failure to make big in trading. The experience gained through slow success always help in the long run.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOGemHunters - top notch ICO listing calendar for bounty and presale hunters on: May 18, 2024, 08:20:41 AM
I have a feeling it's copying the icodrops app Smiley

They all copy each other and it is quite common but their rating will be different. I will like to find out on what basis they recommend an ICO or rate it. Good to know another website that has list of new crypto projects but I did not find any bounty listed. I might have not searched it properly or they don't have any list?
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance launches Notcoin (NOT) on launchpool. on: May 18, 2024, 05:28:40 AM
It did arrive back to my bot wallet instantly and then I got the the option to send it to my onchain wallet. I have done that but it took about 8 hours to get credited to my wallet. I am not going to send it anywhere and for now as I am going to wait for another Bitcoin price spike that should encourage nits price a bit more to what it is now.
Mine was sent to cex. Not sure why it took you 8hrs if semding on onchain wallet but took lile 5mins to credit on cex. Maybe too much congestion on ton network thats why its too long to process. Anyway goodluck and hope notcoin could reach some crazy valuation in the future. Many earned for free and definitely will do good when bull run hits.

They published that Bybit will be compensating those users who suffered a delay in NOT coin crediting to thier exchange wallet. For on chain withdrawal delay everyone who faced the issue will also get compensated. I think they will be credited wit NOT coins as compensation. I would be eagerly waiting for it as it is justified.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: exchange monero for fiat on: May 18, 2024, 04:40:59 AM
hello, im sorry if there is another thread for this, i didnt found it, simply what's the best way to exchange XMT for fiat currency..EUR or USD?
Lots of exchanges have now delisted monero and it has become relatively harder for holders of monero to buy and sell at their will. However there are still some remaining exchanges, a lot of them non-custodial, that still have monero and where you could buy and sell and swap for fiat.

The best way is still peer to peer, always.

That is correct a good number of CEX have delisted XMR and that has become a big issue with holders and investors. There are a fe DEX where it is still being traded. It better to check the exchange list on CMC and coingecko.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoin specifically for holders.. on: May 18, 2024, 03:36:24 AM
Meme coins are never meant for hold, the concept is simple take a position and then sell the lot with decent returns. In the current times there are better meme coins that can easily give xx returns as soon as the maket mood shifts from bear to bull. Currently in the bear market the established meme coins are giving decent returns whenever Bitcoin pumps. I will skip any new meme coins for now as the risk of losing investment is very high.
99  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: May 18, 2024, 03:31:26 AM
Yes, you are right it will be Fleming as BCCI doesn't want an Australian to be in the head coach seat. Although they are good player but their loyalty is always questioned the reason being they will always support Australia than the team they are coaching. Greg Chapel once was the coach of the Indian team and he is known for all the internal rift that happened in that Indian side rather the winning records.

BCCI now approaches Gautam Gambhir! What is happening? Is it because of Mota Bhai and because of his connection with the ruling party? If he gets the job then a lot of senior players won't be happy. He has a bad reputation with Kohli which they both have denied publically but it is known to everyone following the Indian cricket.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance launches Notcoin (NOT) on launchpool. on: May 17, 2024, 01:14:35 PM
The problem with Binance has been resolved with the coins being returned back to the bot wallet. The problem now is that it is taking approximately 24 hours for on chain withdrawal. That means the TON network is unable to handle so many transactions and the gas fee is very high currently.
No need to wait for 24hrs. After it returned on tg bot wallet I initiated the withdrawal via Tg wallet and then it will push on your TG beta ton space. Since I have ton token then, I withdraw via bybit and boom not more than 5mins it arrived on my bybit wallet. Of course I tried withdrawal first of small amount to see if withdrawal is really disable, guess what it didnt. The smaller not arrive then upon checking it confirmed I send the rest.
