81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What are your expectations ahead of pre and post BTC halving? on: February 03, 2024, 05:39:52 PM
2020 was supposed to be an amazing year for me after buying some BTC and altcoins back in 2019 but the Corona virus came and had to dispose by crypto bag for survival before the bullrun came. It's a year I would never forget coz my life would have changed drastically if Covid 19 hadn't messed things up.

Fast forward to 2023, I have been able to accumulate some few BTC from my monthly pay check and the news of Bitcoin spot ETF approval arosed my hope again that BTC might kickstart the mini bullrun before the halving but the reverse was the case as BTC fails to hit the $50k mark.

While reading some crypto news earlier today, I came across a survey conducted by Bitget towards the end of last year in several region of the world where crypto investors share their anticipation and investment plan in crypto ahead of 2024 pre and post BTC halving and seeing 84% of the people saying BTC will cross the previous $69k ATH while also confirming they are increasing their investment ahead of the pre-halving makes me feel 2024 might be another good year for me.

Although some expert suggested that people should be careful as BTC might trade around $30k - $60k within this period which makes it even a more dicey situation but overall, I think the post halving might bring the good news everyone has been anticipating.

What are your thoughts, do you think this survey reflect the true percentage of what to expect or not?
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's talk about Cyber games. on: February 03, 2024, 10:41:37 AM
I think that I've heard of FIRE but I've stopped when these games have dropped with their market and demand. If you guys are still continuing on it, do it for fun so that you're not obliged to just play the game because you're anticipating to make profits. Games should be played for fun but times have changed and it's integrated with money whether you are there as an investor or a gamer. The emotion is there and if ever I'll be interested with them again, I'll just choose the investor path and won't be playing anymore these p2e games but I still play games that are not associated with crypto.

Right from the era of P2E to P&E, I haven't really been down with the idea coz having the mindset that am playing to earn takes away the fun and most times, one plays with anxiety or caution which i feel I can't really cope with. I have only played Upland and Axie infinity game something last year which was quite interesting tho but I now focus more on earning via investing in their native tokens. I saw the matr1x token $FIRE has already been listed on Bitget but still observing whether it's a good project worth the money. Let's see what happens in the next couple of weeks.

Truly games should be played for fun but for the fact that it has been associated with tangible rewards makes it more like an investment thing than for mere fun. You should consider the investment aspect.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coreum & the Need for Lightning-Fast Blockchain Transactions on: February 03, 2024, 09:55:05 AM
Picture Coreum as your business's high-tech ally, a digital powerhouse that's not just a token but a smart assistant for large enterprises. It's like having a superhero tech sidekick, packed with features to make companies' digital journey smoother and more efficient.

Coreum's Smart Tokens are like digital wizards, automating tasks intelligently. What caught my attention is the Formula 1 car of blockchains, handling up to 7,000 transactions per second – super-fast and cost-effective, perfect for companies with big plans.

It's like a tool that speaks the language of your existing systems (ISO20022 compatibility) and easily connects with other digital realms (IBC interoperability). It's not just about tech; it's about making businesses thrive.

So, here's the question: How do you think Coreum compares to other digital heroes in the market? Dive in, explore, and share your thoughts on how this tech ally could reshape the game for large organizations.

I think lots of awareness is still needed to put coreum in the spotlight looking at the solution it offers which can make things very easy for enterprise of any magnitude. Addressing issues regarding availability, security, interoperability and also ability to process transaction at a very high speed makes it a suitable option for most large scale Enterprise. Perhaps the team needs more collaboration to get the project on a mainstream level.
84  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on your own vs social trading and copy trading on: February 01, 2024, 06:53:01 PM
I think that by trading on my own I am just overtrading...I am looking for options to get trading ideas/trading signals etc to analyze those ideas and select only the best ones.
What options does one have to view trading ideas/signals from other professional traders?

Trading can be so complicated especially futures trading and one may incur terrible losses if ones TA isn't good enough and that's why it's good to learn from top expert by copying their trades. Although it's advisable for one to learn trading by himself on the long-run but copy trading is a great start to learn. From my experience trading across several platforms, Bitget has the highest top elite traders and I have used it in the past while still trying to master my trading skill.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Continuous Launchpool on Binance on: February 01, 2024, 06:38:03 PM
Has anyone noticed that Binance has consecutively launch theit launchpool starting from the following projects.

Ace (Fusionist)
Nfp (Nfprompt)
Ai  ( Sleepless AI)
Xai ( Xai Games)

It seems that they will weekly launch a pool for new projects and it will be bullish for bnb and at the same time with the projects being listed. Anyone farming here? Hows your income so far?

Binance launchpool has been profitable no doubt but I also take advantage of other exchange launchpool like that of Bitget by staking some BGB and it has been a great experience as well, the last one was that of zkf and it was quite awesome. Am also hyped up about the ongoing zeta launchpool event on the CEX.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your price predictions for the upcoming JUP token launch? on: February 01, 2024, 10:22:43 AM
I saw many investor investing in this new project that was launch few hours ago but am still making some investigation about the power behind the project if the project will be great in the future before joining investors to invest on it. If what I red in the internet is true about the Jup token launch, show that the price will increase higher above $5 in the future and those that will hold long will really see the good side of the token and it will make them to achieve income. Since we have seen the sign of pumping in the price of Bitcoin in the market, which we know that whenever the price of Bitcoin is pumping other altcoins price will be pumping too and it will give token investors opportunity to experience positive results from their token investment.

At last the much speculated jup, token, has been launched, and I think that so far that it's pretty much living up to it's hype, and being on the Solana, ecosystem is a big boost for it. We should expect the normal price dump and pump on the short term, I believe that since we're seeing that Bitcoin price is looking good in it's journey to bull run, that credible projects will also experience pumps, so I'm seeing jup, token, to also pump and investors that will hold till then will enjoy good ROI. Although I don't really do new projects, but if I'm to take chances and invest in one now, I think that I can really consider this project in discussion.

For now expect for a dump since there's a lot of people get their tokens via airdrop so for sure that they will be the one will dump first their token acquired so provably it will stay at current price for a while, But there's still a huge chance for this token to pump knowing that it has a strong community support and its volume still quietly huge which is so impressive for newly launch token.

Now I'm thinking about having this token and will just wait for furthermore since for sure will acquire this for hodling it on short time purposes then let see what will be the result of it.

I also don't buy tokens from new project but I think this case is different since there's so much noise for this project and this might be an indicator that this project maybe could able to last for long months.

I share your sentiment about this token, I had opportunity to accumulate TIA after it was airdropped but felt the price will further drop, unfortunately it didn't and I can only watch the token currently trading above $400. Looking at how must project on solana has been fairing lately, i have a strong believe that JUP will do extremely well in few months time from now since all the paper hands would be out already. Looking at the ranking on CG and the 24hrs trading volume, one could easily infer about users interest in the project, I did bought a lil bit higher after the listing on Bitget but still dcaing to increase my position.

You've likely seen tempting ads - "Sign up, get free crypto!" Or "Share, get free crypto!" This usually sounds miraculous, I mean, this is free money for just sharing public wallet address or blasting out some information yeah? What can go wrong? Many things my friend, can go wrong.

The crypto world is full of scammers looking to trick users and it gets even worse by each passing day. Some giveaways are real, but many just steal your information or hack your wallet. You might wanna ask, oh ! what about a surprise crypto that drops into your account? Sometimes it happens, but telling real from fake drops isn't easy. The idea of making easy money makes even savvy crypto users fall for traps. Before chasing free crypto hype, research thoroughly and never share sensitive details. If it seems too good to be true, it usually is. The untamed world of crypto has many bandits wanting to take advantage of the unaware. Go carefully!

Being an informed user i.e questioning hype, securing accounts, avoiding irrational excitement - is key. Crypto riches exist, but finding legitimate freebies requires wisdom and smartness, not greed and gullibility.
Stay attentive, friends!

Mind sharing with us some successful and unsuccessful airdrop/giveaway events you've joined in the past or maybe your near-scam airdrop/giveaway experience?

Perhaps you need to check the CEXs official website to get authentic info. Launchpads and Launchpools are genuine ways of earning decent Airdrop by staking the exchange native tokens like BNB, BGB, MX e t c.. occasionally there are events like lucky wheels events that requires you to invite friends and also carry out some task to get points which can be redeemed to get either USDT or crypto but one must comply with the rules strictly to stand a chance just like the Bitget telegram App event am currently participating in

Your warning words are good because there are many such scam traps in the world of crypto. By being careful, the chances of getting scammed are much lower. It is not good to rush any work but if you proceed wisely it is possible to succeed. Your words of caution will be helpful to all.

Why on earth that someone or somebody will give free crypto into people that will just sign up
or sharing their site? and also considering that they will give free crypto the problem is that do the payment
has value? or another shitcoin or scam coin?  try not to be lured by this foolishness mate because internet
is full of liar and full of stupidity so don't be one.

Exactly! I mean these kind of offers feels and seems super suspicious especially when it's coming from a platform that isn't well recognised, no known details, etc.

One really need to be mindful in this space else they'll learn the hard way.

It would be super nice if people share tips on how to identify legitimate crypto events and giveaways so others can learn and not be gullible to fall for scams.

I think it's greed that is responsible for people's vulnerability in crypto. Trying to reap where they did not sow. That doesn't mean that there are no ways people can earn crypto but it doesn't come entirely free. There are reputable CEXs like Binance, Bitget, OKX and the likes that do come up with some events where users complete some certain task to get points which can be used to redeem usdt or crypto but it's not that often. Am not more of a DEX person so i don't really know how those guys earn money or crypto from those platforms but i have heard they have ways of earning.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Layers of Security with De.Fi on: January 30, 2024, 12:07:57 PM
I would like to have a list of the exchanges that will be listing it tomorrow because Bitget listing news is the most recent trend on X.
Dude if you read my copy of tweet attached youll see the list of exchanges confirm for tomorrow.

I have not yet read about this project, but I would bet on the sentiment around the project to buy it before the likes of Binance come into the picture.
Well this is antivirus for crypto or safety protection platform that helps in finding or protecting users from potential threats. You could buy tomorrow, theres none binance announced in the list but who knows if they list it.
I love the innovation from the DE.FI team especially the fully automated smart contract security scanner and the unique crypto asset management dashboard that allow users seamlessly view and manage their assets while being aware of any risk. Am optimistic of massive reception upon the listing tomorrow.
