81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Traders, the Halving is Coming, Let's Talk Strategy (and Events) on: March 26, 2024, 05:14:06 PM
I witness a lot of Bitcoin halving in the past and most of the actual Bitcoin halving event doesn’t result to mega pump but the opposite. Pump comes few months after the halving.

For me the best strategy is still the basic buy and hold no matter what the price after the halving because the price usually slow grow until the following year. I don’t have plan to sold my Bitcoin anytime after halving and focus on accumulating more using my business profit as well as my other holdings on shitcoin.

Nice strategy you have mate, quite similar to what i have been using but with slight addition. While waiting for post halving pump, I am earning some APR on my BTC holdings on Bitget by subscribing to their flexi savings. This keeps me in good profit ahead of the bullrun proper.

You've got to position yourself for the bull run which I'm sure will be massive when it finally hits judging by the hints, seems the cex you mentioned has lots of event ongoing leading to the bull. I'm considering attending the YT event. Hopefully it's worth it..
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how long do we think memecoins narrative is going to last ? on: March 26, 2024, 03:50:54 AM
Now, do you really think this memecoin will do a thing especially when I believe the meme season is over
I want to believe that the meme coins season is done. But we will never know if they literally are done for. As long as they're still liquid and they've got the back of the community, they're going to continue to stay in the market.

And these surges are surprising because of that. I think you just need to monitor it at all times and always take a close look at it.

Because when they're done for, they really are going to be out of sight of most of the investors. However, I think that's during the bear.
I don't think memeseason is done though, I think it's just getting started and we'll see multi chain memecoins like Omni more. Like you can acquire them on multiple chains. That's quite good.. here's what I'm taking about. https://twitter.com/bitgetglobal/status/1772171568740786466?t=c8RiaVcmU9FZCt9ie-lTvA&s=19
83  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: You shouldn't miss BWB airdrop campaign on: March 25, 2024, 08:50:45 AM
Bro, I know say you dy new here, but try ur possible best to dy read the forum rules,  so that you no go break them ignorantly, I believe say the primary purpose of this forum na to talk about Bitcoin, no be this kind of thing wey you dy post here wey dy very likely to be scam, abeg, talk about something more important, no be all this things we need here, or better still, take am go for beginners and help, I believe say you go surely get the response you dy find there, no carry post like this dy spam our local board, thnk you and may God bless you.
This forum is mostly about bitcoin but we can also discuss about altcoins and give our own opinions.

Wettin bariku dey tell you na the Koko, no be wettin we dey find for this our local board. you fit carry this kind topic go to the altcoin discussion or even off topic board or discussion. AirDrop matter don tire people na bitcoin matter dey move people. Because %99 of airdrop na scam. People wey participate for all those airdrop never gain anything inside uptil date. No be even that matter self but na just say we no need such talk for here except Bitcoin talk, wallet discussion and security. Information on how to succeed and carefulness and legit ways to make money.
That is Bitget launchpool I guess. Or is not it? Nigerians can not access those exchanges website for now and I do not have VPN on this device that I am posting with presently, but I think it is Bitget launchpool and not scam. Only what I can just advice is that if it is truly an airdrop, people should access it directly on Bitget and we should be careful of airdrops just like you said because many airdrops are scam and some are used to obtain users information in order to scam the user.
Bitget wallet token airdrop. $BWB.. The app is accessible though without VPN and yes it's not scam. Just that some bad experiences with airdrops has made people skeptical. I just thought to share it here..
84  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / You shouldn't miss BWB airdrop campaign on: March 25, 2024, 05:00:24 AM
Hey mates, there's been a lot of ongoing airdrops recently, and they've been quite rewarding. However, one that isn't getting much attention is the Bitget wallet airdrop campaign.

Their airdrop campaign is really underfarmed and it runs for the next month.

If you have a wallet on MetaMask, I advise you to import it into Bitget wallet and conduct your daily swaps there.

The points will be converted into tokens and airdropped, probably in May or June.https://web3.bitget.com/en/bwb-airdrop?code=twkMyU

For more details, check out: https://web3.bitget.com/en/blog/articles/fair-launchpool-bwb-points-holder-exclusive

These days, I haven't missed out on any alpha, and I always take action. I believe we can benefit from this opportunity. 👍
85  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Let's be more careful with local exchanges. on: March 22, 2024, 10:41:22 PM
Since Binance removed peer-to-peer (p2p) trading, many Nigerians have switched to other exchanges that still support it. Binance has been the go-to exchange for us Nigerians for a long time. However, when exploring new p2p exchanges, some have different trading patterns and fewer traders, increasing the risk of scams.

Some people might consider using local trading, but local traders may be even riskier than those on other exchanges because there's no escrow system like with p2p. Recently, a friend of mine was scammed while trying to use a local exchange. He wanted to swap some USDT to Naira and sent money to the provided address. Even though his wallet showed the transaction as confirmed, the exchange kept claiming they hadn't received the funds. Later, they admitted to giving him the wrong address and stopped responding to him.
This situation shows that during times like these, more thieves and criminals may try to take advantage by posing as local exchanges. Even if you consider using a local exchange, make sure it's one you're familiar with. Many of these exchanges are run by individuals who are only interested in stealing, even from their own people.

Local exchanges lack the security measures and oversight of established exchanges.they may not have enough liquidity or financial stability, increasing the risk of losing funds. Dealing with local exchanges also makes resolving disputes or recovering lost funds challenging due to their lack of transparency and accountability.it's generally safer to use reputable, regulated exchanges with a proven track record of security and reliability to avoid exposing oneself to significant risks.

Op I think sharing an in-depth experience would suffice. For me, since binance had issues, I switched to Bitget and truthfully they stepped up really hard. Good rates, fast CS, good merchants and they' even rewarded me with $BGB as a first time P2P user. I've got no issues regarding that aspect..
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget Bitcoin - Memecoins Like Pepe, FLOKI and Bonk Are the Big Gainers Now on: March 22, 2024, 04:11:33 AM
If this isn't a bubble I don't know what is.  No way am I deviating from bitcoin at this point.  All of these memecoins are useless and serve no purpose.  It's going to be a zero sum game and someone is going to be left holding the bag and it's not gonna be me.  I see no point in diving into memecoins at this point, too much risk.
I didn't know why this was funny when I read it. I think imo you shouldn't deviate from Bitcoin.. but memes might be a stepping stone to accumulate more BTC bags. Memes like SLERF, did decent numbers. Rn there's a potential for alts like BENDOG and the likes to do well. That's what I'm doing..I'm positioned on Bitget memezone to snip trending memes..
87  Local / India / HAPPY HOLI FESTIVAL on: March 21, 2024, 04:53:00 PM
Happy Holi festival, mates. Let's try to show love and spread unity during these times. Some trading platforms are already showing love to their users, so I wanna ask, are you participating in any of these events?

Also, I saw an announcement on OKX restricting their services to Indian users. I've got lots of buddies there who may seek alternatives. Can you recommend any, cos the bull run is fast approaching, no one wants to be left out...
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats Your Favourite Meme Coins? on: March 21, 2024, 01:09:28 AM
I wanna know your favourite meme coins and why?

That is all.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

moooon!!! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
I always considered meme coin too risky to invest but in recent season meme coin seems to be giving people the most profit. You all may have noticed this season and seen that every popular top meme coin has made the most market gains as Bitcoin has gone up. But meme coin is very risky but my favorite meme coin is shibainu. My favorite meme coin is shibainu. One of the reasons to hold Shibainu is that it has a lot of potential for future gains on long-term holding. But I am not inviting anyone to invest here if you invest in meme coin do it at your own risk.

RN I've got lots of favorites, depends on how much they've made me ahah. I have Bome, SLERF but most recently I'm getting intrigued by DUKO, It's a Solana dog meme with a thriving community and with support from platforms like Bitget. I'm definitely looking to flip this minimum 3x
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Launchpad Tokens on: March 19, 2024, 03:54:45 PM
There will be more Binance launchpad token will be released in future

Eg:
1. Polyhedra Network ($ZKB Token) : This will be around on November 2023
2. Manta Network

Seems you saw the future. I searched for polyhedra & ZK tokens on Google and discovered it's on right now on Bitget launchpool. Judging by previous success I think I won't want to miss this..

Some may argue that procrastinating isn't a disease but I beg to differ. Anyone has proven steps in how to escape this please share. You might be saving a soul.
91  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Is meme risk worth the reward? on: March 19, 2024, 01:57:31 AM
I don't do memecoins as a result of my lack of interest I don't take them serious although it's been told by those of interest that it gives raoid profit but something I know  about such league of coins is that they burn investors incomparable to the profits it's talk about. If you must invest in altcoins why not go after those that have been in the market for long time order than some rug pull memecoin projects that are flooding into the market due to the bullrun to scavenge money into developers pocket.

Same for me, I don't like diversifying my funds to altcoins, not to talk of meme coins. Coins that where Inspired by jokes and memes. Most of the memecoins out there are just shitcoins, they only last for a short period of time, while some don't even make good pump before they crash back. I have read two meme coin white paper were the developers stated it clearly that the project they made shouldn't be taken serious as it is a test project. Meme coins are easy to create unlike other coins, and because of that, we have lots of inexperienced developers who just created a coin and try as much as possible to get the coin listed on exchange but due to poor mentainance, the coin just crash.

I'm not saying all meme coins are like that. If you find the right memecoin even before it was listed in an exchange, you'll gain enough profit from it, but seeing those kinds of coins are rear.
That's what memecoins are mate. You ride the hype for few months then sell off. It's not eth or Solana or chain link with lots of utilities. As a crypto trader you need to be flexible imo.. few weeks ago the hype was on AI tokens, now it's on memecoin. I just recently got into memecoins though, now I'm kinda glued to Bitget memezone..
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the largest meme coin ever? on: March 17, 2024, 10:32:15 PM
~snip~

The only important thing is that we know when to exit so that we can get our profit from the meme coins we are talking about. Apart from that, I have other things, to be honest.
But of course we still need to be careful still for this thing we are doing.
Knowing when to enter and exit is absolutely necessary so that there are no losses on investments made in memecoin. Top memes like DOGE may still do well in the long term. but taking advantage during meme season would be better, because after that the price will crash and we can buy at a cheaper price. Don't just hold it for the long term without any profits. Take part to keep your investment stable and profitable.

Great advice.. this was me yesterday. Got BOME on Bitget spot. It did 8x. I took 75% profits and  got BGB, snap and IQ50 memecoin..now I'll be riding this during the week.. let's see how well they'do..
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are advantageous to invest in now on: March 16, 2024, 11:46:35 AM
There are so many different types of coins nowadays, but I don't even know how I should choose anymore. Do you guys have any good advice?

This isn't a financial advise but if you can, look at memes on Solana ecosystem. Got into BOME yesterday on Bitget. Now it's x7 already. It's high risks so try to get in early. I might offer more advise if you want..
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My observation on memecoins seeking legitimacy. Cool or not cool? on: March 15, 2024, 08:43:38 PM
Most of the meme coins were like a ponzi but as the market is maturing so did the investors. So for being a meme coin is not enough these days and we are seeing legitimate meme projects are trying to be more than just a meme project. Not sure if that will be enough or not, but its working as many investors are joining the meme industry which leads to the total marketcap of meme coins to be above 63B which is more than the total marketcap of AI coins. The industry is evolving, and the meme project is as well. Let's see where it leads to the meme craze.

Your comment seems to be realistic. Memes are introducing burns now, making sure they evolve from the tag to something good. I think OP is right. Might be a long process but some memecoins imo are turning the corner. I just saw a post of GEC Burning almost a $1M. now that's an effort worth commending. I'll check Bitget memezone if it's trading there and prolly observe before taking a position....
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Identifying Rewarding Crypto Earning opportunities on: March 15, 2024, 02:48:22 AM
Investing in tokens for long-term hodl has always been my preference, watching their value increase over time is incredibly satisfying as a crypto investor. However, I've recently been intrigued by individuals who earn cryptocurrency through simple tasks and see their portfolios grow.
That's okay if they earn with simple tasks and I think that you're talking about the airdrops, they're common nowadays or should I say that they're mostly common during the bull run. There are so much airdrops that are coming and for this reason, this makes all of those airdroppers to have more money during this bull run and those have been taken for free but with some fees needed to pursue the tasks.

While I've always enjoyed purchasing tokens, I've been exposed to new ways of earning free crypto through various cryptocurrency discussion forums. Platforms like Layer3 offer quests where users can earn XP, which can lead to airdrops. Additionally, exchanges incentivize users with tokens for completing tasks and spinning wheels. It's fascinating to see how people can discover and earn new cryptocurrencies through these methods.
It's not new discovery, they've been there for so long and they just being hyped due to the potential rewards and value that they're going to distribute later on. And it's even being done by this time because more people get into the market just to do airdrops and they're participating almost every project that they can and then later on, they'll simply dump all of those tokens that they've earned.

As a crypto investor, is it taboo to inquire about opportunities to earn free tokens? Some believe that airdrops will kickstart the 2024 bull market, and based on current trends, I can see why. For those who participate in these tasks, how do you identify the most lucrative and rewarding opportunities?
Just do your own thing. If you're an investor and lazy into airdrops, that's fine. Many are like that even I but you can't stop people from doing those airdrops. It is their time and mind that's being spent on it with some fees that they have to do for bridging and testing the mainnets of those projects.

You're right, absolutely! Although in some forums, investors tends to turn away from discussions about earning free tokens. It's sometimes egarded as a waste of time, which I don't think it is in these season. That I know.  Airdrop hunting requires so much time trying to meet the task requirements for legitimate ones. Truth!

For me, Task from Exchanges seem to be the easiest. The few I've found may require some swaps on the exchange platform which is a normal thing for exchange users. But the good part is, it makes users eligible for some rewards. I'm on a look out for some tasks that could pay good rewards at the end. You're welcome to throw some at me. Okay?

Did a quick search about task from platforms and I found this. Know about it?

96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which game currently have you glued to your screen. on: March 14, 2024, 09:26:04 AM
Honestly, the gaming industry is becoming bigger and better as more investors continues to pump in more money towards the sector. Recently I played some games from the $BLOCK, $DOT and $OGC gaming platform and I had a treat in a long while especially with the WARPATH game. This arouse my interest to explore more gaming project and I discovered another web3 metaverse game project called FlappyMoonbird.

I recently played their AI Birdnopoly and FlappyMoonbird demo release and it was quite thrilling. The interesting part is that players gets to play for free and earn mystery boxes and also earn $FMB tokens which is already tradable on top tier exchanges.

Which other games are you playing right now and earning free tokens?

Since I'm not good a gamer, I prefer getting into gaming tokens earlier. The strategy worked for MAVIA, PIXEL, Bigtime. Maybe I'll consider FMB if you give more details or probably provide a link to get more..like where it's trading etc..

98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Thriving in 2024: Should We Embrace More Crypto Fun? on: March 13, 2024, 02:38:45 PM
In the world of cryptocurrencies, the idea of meme coins has grown in popularity due to their active community involvement, humor, and impressive financial returns.
For me, meme coins will stay and some meme coins will have different purposes like scamming people, and will just make money off it.
We just need to be careful because what I can see in new meme coins or even old, it is high risk, high reward.
Investing in meme coins is just luck, we don't know which meme coins will rise significantly in the future, meme coins are really hype and don't seem to be going away in the crypto world, they will still be there. For investment, it's not all advice through individual research because it's difficult to see for the long term and even then it's just a few meme coins

That's true. You also need proper timing, when the hype is hot. What I do is I look out for coingecko or coin market cap and see trending memecoins. Alternatively I also pay attention to memezone on Bitget, then join their communities and see the level of hype and attention. That's how I've been able to get into memes like WIF, Myro, WEN and today PENG EARLY. NFA though..
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the Season of Airdrops? on: March 13, 2024, 02:24:41 PM
Airdrop is not something new in the crypto industry. The method of distribution has changed. It was very easy to get an airdrop before 2021 but most of them were scam projects. Right now airdrop criteria have become harder and the user needs to spend their own money to get an airdrop. So we are getting more legit projects than before but this time the criteria are getting harder. Also every project is innovating some new methods for the airdrop so i guess it will be harder in the coming days.
I still think that there are classic airdrops left but their numbers were maybe smaller now compared to that new airdrops you are telling. I do not know that if they will get extinct soon and fully replaced by a new airdrop but I feel bad about it even though I'm not into airdrops anymore. I guess it's because I had a good memory or moment on them in the past.

Once airdrop has fully transformed into a new one, that should be the time for us to see a lot of scam projects and it's more painful this time, knowing that airdrops are not free anymore. The project may be innovative too, for them to have an innovative method for airdrop but this can also act as a protection for those who wants to abuse it.

True I think so too. Aevo has been trending today because they distributed airdrop to their Community. And also being introduced to platforms like Binance, bitget etc market for trading. We just need the right information and community to get these kinda drops..
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🚀🐸 which chain is the king of memecoins. Eth or sol? on: March 13, 2024, 08:36:37 AM
Got confused about your title as from what I know, eth is ethereum and it is definitely not a memecoin. It would have been such a success for the whole community if one of the memecoins is considered as second to bitcoin.

Anyway, I am looking at doge still. I think it still has potential to rise up more. I am monitoring both doge or shiba inu.

I meant which Blockchain is the king of meme..if it's ETH OR SOLANA. yeah doge is my OG but I've been on pepe, FLOKI, wif, wen and most recently PENG when this happens https://twitter.com/leilanijay3_jay/status/1767830577216983265?t=LlL8KVsS8765I3n8Rtiefw&s=19
