Thanks again Crazy since switching to PI on the wifi been running awesome Grin Grin
For those trying to save pool settings on first use in Minera when you click save and restart miner it doesn't appear to do anything just drops you down in the gui about 1 screen look at table, you must select one of those choices as it says you must do to basically initiate minera after that you can make any changes you need

I will agree the setup is a bit of a pain in the ass especially the dip switches since the very nice diagram is accurate but reversed of the actual numbers on the boards hence 12345 is 54321 on the boards themselves and with the BE controller you have to reboot sometimes many times for all boards to come up hashing I believe it also causes a heating issue with the prisma as well as cutting your hash to 300gh/s with no notice over a few degree Celsius change as night turns to day etc  Grin Grin

while my boards all seem to work, I have not got the running time to go beyond 20 minutes and have not been given any reason why, even at 230 freq.  I bought one as an experiment and if the first worked I planned to buy more. The miner works, but can't figure out why running time is so low. Also there is no temp sensor reading on the block erupter nor does it show fan RPM. Can anyone make a suggestion? Should I go down to 220?
once i quit using the BE controller and went to the PI using minera from crazy all has been good if when making pool adjusments your log shows a ton of bet0 errors simply load the rockminer fork then back to CGam fork and all stays clear even thru failovers as i experienced with my pool going down to ddos today but do the fork loading trick as a simple reboot of minera does not always solve the bet0 errors  Grin Grin

Where do we DL your fork of Minera?

https://github.com/crazybitcoinguy/minera

Follow the Manual installation instructions for now. I'm also going to create a compact image and upload for my group buy participants later tonight.
here is the image link Grin Grin

I've got Minera running on my rPi now, but I can't seem to get it to save settings or start mining.  I had my Prisma running on the BE controller earlier today, so I presume I'm doing something wrong on the Pi.  Any thoughts?

I checked the SD to make sure it wasn't write-locked, and moved the UART to the other USB slot, just to see.  Still nothing.

Cheers.
also with minera you have to select 1 of those altcoin things when you first try to save it drops you to a list just pick 1 and it will let you make changes

so thanks for the update to fix poolside hashrate reporting in minera also i found a fix for the bet0 errors I tend to get them after a restart or making changes to pool info etc and restarting minera or miner doesn't solve them most of the time but if i load rockminer fork then go back to asisminer fork it comes up fine no errors   Kiss Kiss

So on Minera pool HR much lower 2/3 then device hashrate could this be from using wifi also 8% rejected due to duplicates  Shocked Shocked

Like this:

Temp is monitored by fan controller. Smiley

Nice and quiet.
Hey Phillipma i think this is what you were looking for

Well could it be a thermal pad and heatsink issue the heat difference is crazy
91  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [PAUSED] ASICMiner Prisma 1.4th/s - 1.47 BTC on: November 10, 2014, 05:48:48 PM
Can any of the Prisma gurus tell me if this output is expected for normal operations? I have been running the Primsa a few days now. But it shows "Running time" up only 20 minutes? Is my Prisma rebooting ever 20 minutes? Should I be concerned about this?

Im assuming you have hit the refresh on your browser or the wakeup button

I had all those issues been running now for 15 hours no issues the tube port on ck solo pool had been my best the BE controller is the root of most issues all day yesterday would drop to like 300 gh/s while hashing at slush's etc  mmpool and slush and ck all saw improvment from handles out and relocation of miner and controller

93  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [PAUSED] ASICMiner Prisma 1.4th/s - 1.47 BTC on: November 09, 2014, 07:20:30 PM
im sure it is heat related with 1 board being more sensitive 2:18 it is always that board and I think the BE controller may be getting to hot thats why it needs restart after and hour or hash drops to like 300gh/s it is running on a wall outlet 6v 2a

Just a quick question how are you all powering the second fan and also is it 120mm or 140mm?
since the tubes benefited im sure the longer prisma with same form factor def needs

a simple thing made such a difference pwrdn gone hwe% is 0.00 across all boards 99% efficiency thanks again guys..... you so crazy  Roll Eyes

All boards where fully hashing until last night, through BE cont to minera Rpi via proxy to eligius.st. Everything came to a halt.  Massive pwrdn's.
This morning I tightened up all the screws and only one board came online.

I'll need to take all the boards off and do a full inspection then re-seat.  I hope that works Sad
try to restart the controller turn off miners power supplies a few times i have seen where 1 board 3 boards etc will only show after restart but doing it a few more times has always restored it for me
99  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [PAUSED] ASICMiner Prisma 1.4th/s - 1.47 BTC on: November 09, 2014, 04:03:32 PM
Also I had the reduced hash at both 230 and 220 it appears a little better now i will see if it can maintain hash for 4+ hours at 1 hr now just dropped a little to 1376 or 94%
