What do you think is happening?
Is people hoding less their coins?
Is there more manipulation by big whales, speculators or big institutional investors trying to profit the flavour of the moment?
I feel that there are big players "pumping and dumping" in order to manipulate the market to stabilize price and "control" in a certain way the price fluctuation.
Obviously bitcoin is very dangerous for our old corrupted economy, don't you think that in acertain way there's an unusual stop of the past few months trend?
After reaching $20k there's a correction to $17k and then price stabilizes at 11-12k with mini-dips that last seconds before going uptrend...
In my opinion the key factor could be also that if bitcoin reaches $30-50k then it will be very difficult for newcomers to buy bitcoin for buying altcoins in the exchanges.
So that stabilizing the price to an affordable $10k for a while could be a way to engage more people to bitcoinworld.
Or maybe it's all ok, there's no manipuation, it is a stanby before the big run to $50k-100k. Then newcomers will start buying and trading in Ethereum or Litecoin, because at the moment there aren't exchanges accepting fiat money, you have to enter and buy your altcoins directly with cryptocurrencies...
Which in your opinion are the main reasons?
Because Fuds came's on it that's why we can see the price of bitcoins drop/stables, But we might gonna experience some pump happenings right now since I believe the fuds camp pass and many people forget it that's why we can see the market go live again and slowly regaining its rythm. |

Guys, I am new here and have a general question. I currently have 100,000 TRX tokens in binance. They change value every day as we know its fluctuating between .059 to .090 My question is that should I leave my TRX tokens in the binance exchange and watch there value go up and down or move them to a wallet (hardware wallet). Lets say if i move them to my wallet and a few months late TRX goes up to 0.90 cents. Would I be able to transfer them back to a exchange and cash them?
If some one can clear it for me in easy words i would greatly appreciate it. I invested $5900 in TRX so far and been reading about it.

The safest place to keep your coin/token is your hardware wallet. An exchange can be hacked any time and if you want to take profit you can transfer the token/coin back to the exchange. There is no rule stopping you from doing that. Ledger nano will be the best selection for that since if they trust those exchange and it end up hacked then they will lose their money for that and I'm sure exchangers will never issue an refund since they will wash their hands for that scenario. We should send the coins we wish to trade and that can make us safe for any site vulnerabilities. |

Not sure where coinmarketcap is getting its data. But exchange platform differs from each other, I think every platform has its different pricing of the coin.
They update their data's on real time but sometimes their updating is not accurate since their are some coins who are having a fast trades and fast pump and dump scene and coinmarketcap cannot update it faster since I think their bots or whatever they use have certain time to give some price updates. Coinmarketcap gets the data from not one exchange but from many exchanges and averages it i believe. Thats why the difference. For everycoin, if u click markets tab it will show u what are all the markets its collecting data from.
Maybe that's one of the reason why we can see them slow upon updating on the coins price. |

I used to wallets that are ERC20 token supported. You can choose between Myetherwallet or Metamas. But I suggest that you use Myetherwallet since I'm using it for long time and I didn;t experience any bugs or lost of my tokens. Metamask are more secured since it is recommend by the MEW site itself and they are putting some not that they are discouraging their user to use the private key feature since those selection is not safe and MEW team cannot do anything with it if their site will be hack. |

So how do you (bounty managers) keep track of the participants. Including wether they still have their signature, count the posts they made in this week, twitter things etc.
Bounty managers manually do it since they also verifying the quality of post made by their participants. But their are others who use some automated tools where their bots automatically counts the post made by their joiners and the Bitmixer is one of the sig camps who to that recently but I won't recommend that to be used by new managers since Bots doesn't verify those unquality post and unrelevant ones. |

100$ is dead past of bitcoins and we will never get back to that pre historic ages of it and the people who waits that to be happen will turn stoned since even if we can see some continuous dumping we will surely see some huge leap of the bitcoins price on future months to came. Remember Bitcoins price are not decreasing every year its increasing that's why people should buy now if they can afford to do so. why?
He mentioned the law, so he means that if a big government like the US government would be to go on a press release and claim that Bitcoin is completely banned on all of the US, the price would collapse, and this would most likely happen, but not even in this scenario it would go as low as $100, precisely because there is a ton of people wanting to get at $1000. And no, $10000 is not exaggerated, BTC is so cheap, $20000 is cheap, $100000 is cheap. Most bitcoin is mined in China, a significant and large turnover of trade occurs in Asia, if the US prohibits bitcoin, then the price for it will be from 1,000 to 3,000 dollars, if China, Japan, South Korea will prohibit bitcoin, then the price will be 100 dollars.  To think that government decisions have a lot to do with btc's future tells us that btc regulation is probably on its way to being widely implimented. Though it's a bit far-fetched, a 100usd scenario can very well happen if most countries decide to go against crypto. Regulation will be the baddest thing happened on bitcoins since the price of it will became stable and the pump will hardly experience by us. |

a lot of people say i will go down to $8000. i do not think it will happen .bitcoin will be up again .2018is the big year.
Possibilities is huge for that to came since the current fear are in the minds of the holders and only few morons are bagholding for safekeeping and bagholdings but their's so many also are in brain freeze state where they do a dump schemes since they afraid to lose more if that 8k price came on one of these days. at this moment its not smart to sell below 11400.
it can go lower, but if we get directly breakout to 11555, you wil mis the rise.
Not a huge surprise to us since if you may find out already on how things will go with the price of bitcoins, And 11400 is not a huge deal with it since it can even surpass that and reach for its another ATH predictions by sane experts. I recommend watching Jan 27-29 prices VERY CLOSELY!
If it dips, you'll know 100% there's still price manipulation amongst the bears. Furthermore, if it does dip, that will be the time to buy into it again as it will probably have a 20% rally on Jan 30.
These are just my thoughts and speculations.
If the price reduced further more, for example 7-8 k.You have to buy a bitcoin as much you can. It will be golden opportunity to get into bitcoin. If you are a newbie and had a plan to get into bitcoin trading, this is the right time. Best option in trading is using the Market fall.Cheers. But I doubt many people does that since we cannot tell on what would be the outcome of bitcoins for its succeeding days since looks like the bitcoins will go sleep and stable at this moment since their is current fear running on it. It should be mandatory for every ico / bounty to tell you in advance if KYC is needed.
And what if scam campaigns are requiring the KYC? Do you think people will be safe for that if KYC will be strictly be done by all of the campaign, KYC is been discouraged to be use in bounty not unless if the coin project show some transparency and make sure 100% that the collected identity will be safe or burn after they finish to audit the people who participate nor invested on their project. |

Great point that needed to follow so that your wallet will not be hack by those damn phisers/hackers but I want to add some things that needed to avoid and that is those Sites who's covering up with good promotions and asking for private key for claiming and other than that is downloading some unknown links which can lead you to be hack due to malware placed. |

Delist notice - PASC
Pascal Coin (PASC) has been in a status of delisting for some time. This is because of an above average support load being created due to bad transactions from another service provider which we then had to recover. We did reach out to the other provider at the time but were unable to come to a satisfactory solution for both parties, unfortunately this means that Cryptopia will no longer be supporting Pascal.

Do bounty campaigns that pay in BTC/ETH ever work the way they're supposed to?
In the time I've been a member I've attempted to participate in 3 bounties that all claimed they'd pay out in BTC and/or ETH. The first one (FUNDCRU) was supposed to last 4-6 weeks with weekly BTC payments. I received payment for the first week, but then when it came time to be paid for the second week the devs announced that they were suspending the bounty campaign indefinitely. No payment was ever received for week 2, and they never locked the thread so some poor fools kept reporting their work all the way through week 6. The second one (Private City) claimed they'd be paying out in ETH. The campaign manager pretty quickly closed the thread after citing problems with the project dev and no payment was ever received. Now I'm on my third one, the infamous "C." In case you don't know what happened: the original bounty thread claimed that they would be paying out 15 BTC (or ETH if you so chose) over two campaigns. The first payout was supposed to happen on December 16th, but the dev asked for 72 hours to calculate all the payments which made the new deadline December 20th. As of now, no one has received any payment. They keep claiming they're going to post a BTC and an ETH address so people can check the payout transactions, but so far all they've done is add a little line or two to the post every day to maintain the illusion of updates.
I'm beginning to think that any campaign that isn't going to pay you with their own token is just looking to get free work out of people by promising something they never intend to deliver.
Your camp stops because they had failed and their expectation to get more traffic/views, and maybe they doesn't have any huge balance to support their camp that's why they fall for so early since sig campaigns are not guarantee anything to its advertisers and they should have some another option to get spread their words and get more clients. |

I have been watching bittrex all day and in the last few hours the volume of BTC has increased significantly due to panic selling. BTC actually hit $14,400 today so at $15,490 right now its actually recovering a little bit.
Panic selling can create a nightmare for the price. Everyone sees the price dropping and wants to unload to avoid loss.
Yes. this is exactly what is happening. Panic sellers are missing the opportunity. The price will rise very fast again. I think most of panic sellers have sold their coins and now it is turn of people who are patient to get their reward. Impatient people mostly doubt when they see price kicks for more and this time is not the right time to get panic and mostly this time is the best time for opportunity gathering since we can even earn more money if we would grab some bits on our hands. And high patience people will be the gainers for this flactuation game of bitcoins. |

We can't actually predict it because it is changes randomly as you said. Or maybe there are people who can predict it, I myself can not, I also do not understand how to go up and down. Because we have not understood, so we must be ready with whatever will happen. Right because the only thing we can do is to trust the system of the coin we wish to buy and hodl it for more longer times and by it we can earn more money if their a times of pump coming on them. And theirs no accurate prediction on tradings but we can have a clue from simple identifier like fuds,hypes or anything news coming on the coins. |

Today everyone is hypnotized by bitcoin and almost forgets altcoin because I see in some media all discussing about bitcoin really this is a good news for bitcoin holders where currently bitcoin has answered for all big question marks for everyone who keeps save the bitcoin they have. I think bitcoin will continue to have higher prices even though there will be a decrease in bitcoin prices that only temporarily interfere as I firmly believe that investors will again make an investment in bitcoin when bitcoin is at a low price. and I think I will keep bitcoin in the long run because I firmly believe that bitcoin is a form of investment that is so even the best for now is really incredibly bitcoin.
The price of almost altcoins have increased in past days. As you said, when the most of traders forget the altcoin price, that's the time to pump altcoin, this is the scenario of the whale and I'm researching their next move after be ended the altcoin trend. But for now suddenly the price fall again and it's little bit alarming but I will still hold my coins until next year and see on what would be the result of my hodlings. PRL is already in U-Coin exchange.. maybe 1$ to 5$..if they would list to big exchange it will be better..
I'm hoping for price to reach this value but I guess it would still takes few months looking on charts the price movement is quite slow and volume is pretty little I had managed to buy on etherdelta on november when they distribute tokens for 0.5 eth 30k prl and Im waiting to make profits good to see it start to pump last week. Dev's plan to add the PRL on the other exchange and if they could do that they can maximize the tradings of their tokens and possibly it could bring good hype for their coin to gain more value. But seems their are holders who got their tokens from bounty and airdrop still crashing the market and maybe if they are done to dump their balance off, we might see these coin pump harder in future. |

Up Up and Away. I think it will 1000$ on 1st Jan 2018.
That's an early prediction huh, but who knows maybe we can see that one when that date cames but lets start hoodling since I think we can even earn more with ETH since the currently nice growth continuously running and this current value pump is so unexpected since we see eth go stable and dropped harder. And i'm sure for this rise all ETH contract coins will get affected and will be brought to the moon also. Its price rise almost $200 in just 1 week so if this trend will continue after some price correction it will be very possible to reach $1k in the next 2 weeks and i think after the end of the year new ATH will achieve if youre planning to make profit then do it now buy as long as you can.

Currently you can see btc price is increasing and now 1 Bitcoin equals upto 7.9k US Dollar. Bitcoin price is now increasing so fast that i think it will be 2x of its price within the middle of next year
Bitcoin is back down to about $7700. It looks to me like it has made a double top and will head down to about $6000. How come it will came back to 6000$ do you see any deep correction happening? Or any bad hypes that can make bitcoins price falls? Since I think that prediction is little bit low for now and the way I see the 7300$ is the lowest price would ever came for bitcoins right now and maybe we can see the BTC touch down for another 8000$ level and maybe for even more. |
