81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you find interesting ICO ? on: September 15, 2018, 03:33:12 PM
Where do you find interesting ICO or crypto projects to invest ? Here on bitcointalk announcements or on other websites related to new ICO  announcements !

Well, i usually find the interesting ICO's in some rating website. But i suggest you don't rely too much on it.
Unless you do your own due diligence, don't try to investing some new ICO companies. It can be a scam ICO.
82  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why I don't Support KYC in cryptocurrency as it is on: September 14, 2018, 01:39:31 AM
I am going to be very honest here with you guys. I know some of you may antagonise or kick against my view. But I will still speak the truth as it is.

My major reason centered on the fact that there is no regulation for cryptocurrencies.
How can someone somewhere in the name of ICO project team, whom you don't even know, some without a verifiable office address, whose presence is just online and the internet, demand your sensitive information including your international passport, government issued ID, proof of your residential address, and other personal information or documents?
What if this person is just a scammer? What if this person works for maybe a terrorist organization who is just looking for real biodata or identities? What if this person is just a criminal looking for ways to fake his own identity and take upon yours or anyone else? What if your verified photograph (face) matching your identity is used in pornography or nudity? What if the data is accidentally leaked? My questions go on and on.

Remember, the cryptocurrency as it is currently has no regulation, as such there is no regulatory body or authority you can petition your grievances or seek redress should any of the aforementioned incidences happens to you as a result of the information you have forwarded. The ICO project team whom you sent your details can as well disappear without trace.

Therefore, as long as there is no Cryptocurrency Regulation, then there should be NO KYC.

Well, yes i think KYC should not be a requirements for everyone who involving in a cryptocurrency.
But because many scam and fraudulent activities, KYC is required for security reason. So, if the scammer scam peoples, they can be traced by the address and the KYC information.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Phones on: September 14, 2018, 01:29:39 AM
According to a report on Coindelite, Taiwan based Smartphone Company HTC is Working on a Blockchain Phone. What is your take on this? Is it worth spending so much on a smartphone? Will it be a success?

I think it is hard to make a blockchain phone, and what is the blockchain phone in the first place ?
Look at electroneum, it claim that they will have phone miner, but now the price of ETN is falling too great.
The premined coin was too much and not transparent.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government announce bitcoin is illegal? on: September 13, 2018, 01:55:13 AM
We know Bitcoin is one of the powerful and top coin in marketplace.
But world wide all county are announced its illegal.
I personally think that bitcoin is very help us for paying any payment.
Its has many facility.
But our government are announced its illegal

There was nothing in particular, it is just a regulations of cryptocurrency in their country. If they didn't say it is illegal, then they wouldn't ban it.
They only see bitcoin is used to bad activities. However, i am sure btc will be accepted by all countries if we keep using it for buying or paying something.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My sweet and bitter experience about bitcoin on: September 12, 2018, 02:21:51 AM
I started my cryptocurrency journey around July 2017. I bought some altcoins;  verge; dodge, Xrp Siacoin on Bittrex and left some on bitcoin. It was a roller coaster for me around November to December 2017, particularly with verge, my crypo investment of just about $120 grew to a little bit over $3,000. I never new on time until I opened my bittrex. It was wao!

I took out some money since I was in need about $1000. With the euphoria of bitcoin suppasing $20,000, so I watched until my investment shrinked from about $2000 to $1500, then $1000, I decided to take out some little more until I had about $800 left.

That amount have shrinked further to about $450. The worst came when I took a third of the amount to buy Mithril coin when the news came that it won a vote to be listed on binance,  and suddenly it was disqualified,  and the price have falling like packs of cards, more than 50% right now.

Its a question of if I had known, I would have withdrawn the $3000 the moment I saw it on my bittrex account. Who can tell the future?

But I am wiser now.

Does anyone have similar experience

I think it was a great experience for you. We never know the price of our coins , thats why we make some mistakes sometimes.
In crypto, there are many uncertain things. When your investment has gain some profit, better to sell it and take profit than wait it for bigger profit.

87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good strategy to buy tokens at low price directly after ICO? on: September 11, 2018, 04:04:39 PM
Hello
You know that most of ICOs lose their token price directly after token distribution. Sometimes it happens through bounty hunters, sometimes for other reasons... So the question is as follows: Is it good strategy to buy tokens at low price directly after ICO?

Indeed it is a good strategy to buy ICO after the sale because you can get the coins or tokens with cheap price in the exchange.
But you will need to make sure the project hit the softcap first, otherwise you cannot buy in the exchange later because the ICO failed to collect the funds.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market is going down, is it a good time to hold the coin? on: September 11, 2018, 03:58:18 PM
I now have $ 500 in capital. Is this the right time to hold the coin. and what kind of coin should I hold? I need some advice now, Because according to my judgment this will be the momentum for altcoin to explode in the end of 2018

Sometime you need to sell the coin when the market is bad if you want to buy more good coins in this cheap price.
If you have $500, you can start to buy more without afraid of your coin value never going up.
Last year, all cryptocurrency reached their peak, i believe it will be occurred again someday.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Psychological fear dominates the market on: September 10, 2018, 02:02:43 AM
The continuous decline in Bitcoin prices may make investors very nervous and many people have lost confidence in Bitcoin as well as crypto.
This is a very normal psychology and nothing strange in life, in any field, there are two emotional state is governed by FEAR and GREED.
Especially in the financial market, not just the crypto market, when prices are rising, people often feel GREED, focusing only on positive trends and never thinking about trends. Negative, when the price goes down, then the person feels FEAR, then focus only on the negative trend and never thought that everything would be positive again.
Talk about this for people to imagine that believing in a current trend is only relative and timed, so look at the market trend with an objective eye (out-of-game) so that If not, then it will not be absorbed in the psychological game of the market. Finance is a game of psychology!
What do you think about this?

The real investors are not getting nervous just because the price of crypto in this year are falling, this is just only temporary.
They must be able to see the vision far in front of them. Crypto has gone to the bottom in this year, if it keep stay in the bottom for more than 1 year,
i will get nervous too.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you use Bitcoin as a practical currency? on: September 10, 2018, 01:51:59 AM
Hello All, I have a question.
If I want to use bitcoin as practical or daily currency then what should I do?
Is American express or VISA offer such kind of opportunity so far?
I am very excited to read something special here: https://reliable.cash/t/can-you-use-bitcoin-as-a-practical-currency/33
Specially these are amazing to me:

Quote
There are many reasons for bitcoin to be not used as a practical currency. Some are listed here.

  • Some users lack the infrastructure required to use bitcoin
Some users lack the knowledge required to use bitcoin
It will not be a good solution for day to day purchase
It takes time to process a transaction that is why it is not practical at all
Not many stores accept bitcoin as a payment either online or offline
    Stability in pricing
Strong network infrastructure required for its payment to process

Now I want to purchase my Pizza using Bitcoin Cheesy
What do you think brothers?

The users should not think a complicated way about using bitcoin. If you are a developer, you can make an application with a simple UI, and the other process are automate. User only need to deposit their fiat, and it convert automatically to btc. When user want to transfer their btc, they just have to scan the address barcode. That should the way user use crypto, leave the complicated things to developers.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China plans closing Bitcoin mining. on: September 09, 2018, 01:46:05 PM
What can you say about China of closing their rigs/mining?
This could overshoot the price to the moon or plunge the price below the ground?

Those holding btc just brace yourself fasten  your seat bet for possible vortex of price.

Well, if bitcoin price keep going down, maybe it will really happening. But as long as the price of bitcoin not falling too much,
The btc miners in china will keep mining the coin. We can see it by the difficult of bitcoin mining.
There are many btc miners in china, if they stop mining btc, the difficulty of btc mining will drop drastically.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Is Banning Ads for Bitcoin and ICOs on: September 09, 2018, 01:37:48 PM

https://www.coindesk.com/facebook-banning-advertisements-bitcoin-icos/

"Social media giant Facebook has unveiled a new policy that bans advertisements involving bitcoin and initial coin offerings, among others..."

I think this is the old news. It was because many fraud ICOs were running at that time, so social media like facebook banned the ads.
Not only facebook, twitter was banned ICO ads too. But now, i heard about facebook lifted the ban, allowing the crypto ads again.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be contented with what you have on: September 08, 2018, 04:24:58 PM
Slow and steady they say wins the race. Do not be in a haste to make it big in the crypto world. There is never a shortcut to success. Be contented with whatever you gain at every point in time.
Do not look down on yourself because you see others make it big. A drop of water makes a mighty ocean.
Your gain might seem to be small today.
Your portfolio might not look so big.
Just in a moment and with little more patience, your portfolio will see the brightest light and be filled above your imaginations.

Well, basically we are human are never enough to have something than we currently have.
But we still can change that with a right understanding and thinking.
If we are still jealous about the other peoples profit, we cannot move forward to gain profit. We should learn more like the success peoples.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still HODL? on: September 08, 2018, 04:18:18 PM
Right now is a tough time for anybody holding tokens. The HODL strategies put into effect a mere 3 months ago have cost portfolios a huge % loss in value...
I myself have witnessed thousands upon thousands in value destruction. Hrmmm, but what to do now?

Although I have watched, slowly and painfully, tokens descend in value equivalent to a brand new Cadillac down to a value where I cant even sell them for a used 1980s Ford where the bumper falls off...

Instead, I opted to HODL… But the question remains...
Should one effectively Sell-Out and take that broke down ford valuation now?
OR.
Does one still HODL and dream of Lambos full of Women and cocaine?

Nowadays, holding tight wont make you gain profit except you want to hold it for long term only.
If you are only a short term crypto investors, i think to gain profit you must buy and sell very often to get the optimal price.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make cash without investing? on: September 06, 2018, 02:41:34 AM
How can I earn cash without investing? Can I earn a thousand dollars without investing or buying first?

Well, your question is strange, it is same as 'how to get the fruit without growing a tree'.
If you not investing on something, you will not earn any profit.
Either it using your money, efforts, or time, you will need to investing using them to gain much profit
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some ICO is not scam on: September 06, 2018, 02:23:07 AM
Hi, let me clear this uncertainty a few people said that all ICO is a trick however I don't trust them since I have put resources into some ICO and influence a favorable luck, to give me a chance to give you some piece of information to contribute.

1. When you need to contribute as a matter of first importance investigate about the specific ico you need to put resources into, endeavor to check their Whitepaper in light of the fact that some ICO duplicate content from another ICO white papers

2. Attempt to check their LinkedIn profile however that does'nt make any difference since some phony LinkedIn profile.

3.Try to know their genuine area despite the fact that some utilization VPN to shroud their area.

4.website expert issues a considerable measure since some don't know how to construct site and they are guaranteeing that they are in to Blockchain

5. Notwithstanding all this..involving in ICO is a major hazard
   Roll Eyes

Thanks to many scam ICO's, now the image of ICO is damaged. ICO actually really good option of investment.
But there are many peoples who didn't take their time to investigate, research prior contributing.
Investing your money without due diligence is same as donating your money.  Cheesy
97  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market stabilizes. on: September 05, 2018, 02:50:27 AM
Until now after a huge market price fall down crypto market was exhausted after some market price corrections. And i do believe really on bitcoin seeing market price remains at 6K USD per BTC even if some altcoin had drop to almost 50% of its market price from before compared to the current market price. Market price slowly increasing yet it is still not could compromise the huge fall down on crypto market.

Rest assure, cryptocurrency market seems like being recovered now. Some good coins have uptrend price.
But unfortunately there are some coins still on the bottom like ETH. We just need a bit patience to reach the end of this year.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of crypto currency will be bright in India on: September 05, 2018, 02:43:27 AM
Previously Banks in India working under the rules framed by the central bank i.e. Reserve Bank of India ; the banks were instructed not to allow their customers debit their accounts maintained with the banks for purchase of crypto currency.

Against this order; one suit was filed in the Supreme Court of India.  During one hearing the Reserve Bank of India admitted that the instructions were given to check illegal transactions in the country.

Now Bank has admitted that regulation of crypto currency is their necessity.  This admission indicates that transactions will not be restricted but will be regulated.  So again the business will start.  Though final hearing is in September this year.

I am very much positive that Central Government will definitely allow the transactions to take place but definitely will like to impose certain rules and regulations to stop money laundering; terror funding etc. Prime Minister Mr Modi is very much in favour of digitalization of money in India; so future of crypto in India seems very bright.
https://www.ccn.com/ban-u-turn-indias-central-bank-admits-cryptocurrency-regulation-is-necessary/

But i saw some scam ICO's from India, why was like that ? Does the regulator in India approved cryptocurrency ?
If it regulates for avoid criminal actions such money laundering and terrorism, then it is ok and good for India.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I invest like around 600 USD in to Ethereum, Is it a good investment? on: September 03, 2018, 06:10:49 AM
Hello everyone. I want to invest some money. I have saved around 600 USD. Now I want to invest in.
Ethereum looks like that, it will be a good place to invest some money. What do you think? If I invest my 600 USD into Ethereum, can I able to make some profit? Or there is a possibility that, I might lose everything? Please advice and suggest me.

Having $600 is enough to buying ETH, but dont just hold it. You can use your ETH to buying some tokens of good projects.
There is no certain you will gain profit, but once you gained your profit, i think it will be a good amount of profit because ETH is still cheap now.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The name altcoin is boring on: September 03, 2018, 06:05:04 AM
If Bitcoin's the man of the cryptoworld then all other currencies are his bitches. So why don't we call them bitchcoins instead of alt coins Grin ?

Well, it is up to you if you said that and maybe it was because you don't know the meaning of altcoin.
I think altcoin means alternate coins, the alternate coins aside bitcoin in cryptocurrency.
