Hello, I got an $200+ BTC. I would like to Invest it somewhere so I can make some more. Anyone got any suggsestions? Somewhere is good , but best to stay away from cloudmining and mining as well, as that amount wouldn't buy you much .

all i hear is dread, and im planning to get into mining wit 1-3 th/s . any suggestion?
Its fine to buy that amount. Do the calculation and see if you can break even in a few months. If not, then its not worth it.

Yes, maybe you will make it after the halving. But before that you can only hope. How about start working to earn that loss back.

This like others pointed out. If they wish to drop the price, all they can do is dump the coins from the auction., But that wouldn't kill bitcoin

Let us know when the transaction is confirmed. Anyway, I think this might create troubles to newbies especially. And then they will start to complain about BTC not moving fast.
That doesn't happen much. If it did, we would have a lot of people already complaining by now. Some do fall for it, and complain. But not many care when you just have to pay that low fees.

First of all I would like to start this off by stating that I am a believer in the possibility of the success of Bitcoin. This may seem like a contradiction with the title of the thread but it is not. This is because the possibility of success is very low due to the reasons which I am going to describe. At the moment bitcoin is 250$ and has been there for quite a while. Exchanges such as cryptsy, poloniex, btc-e, ect. exist to exchange btc to usd and btc to other alt coins. Circle and coinbase exchange btc to usd and are currently common way to receive USD from BTC. That is a brief summary of the current ecosystem.
Now let us imagine that bitcoin reaches "the moon" as is often wished for in the Bitcoin community. Let us imagine that one BTC is worth 1 million dollars. It is commonly accepted that these exchanges, cryptsy, poloniex, btc-e, circle, coinbase, ect. are for profit. They are not running their businesses out of altruism, but for profit. If one bitcoin is worth one million dollars, how is it remotely imaginable that these exchanges will not just run off with the coins? Even more if I have one btc at one million dollars, I will have to go through some sort of intermediary to receive my USD. This intermediary will run off with the coin because of its massive value.
The issue is a facet of human nature, greed. One bitcoin would not even have to reach 1 million usd for the above scenario to become a reality. How high does btc have to go? The 1k mark was enough for mt gox, 2k...would there still be trust? Would they all run off with the BTC? Ok how about 40k?
This is the problem of bitcoin. People steal. Especially when it is irreversible.
By the time we arrive to 1 000 000 $, the exchanges will be more professionnal and they will make so much that they will benefit staying in activity. Owners should be well known and trusted. ACtually that depends if the people who will be trading will be trading the same volume in terms of the BTC amount. if they trade in the amount in respect to fiat, then it will be the same fees.

In Bitcoin Core version v0.10.0 (64-bit) (Mac in this case) there is an option for sending BTC with low fee or zero fee if possible. The transactions will be a lower priority but will eventually be processed. I have now tried this for the first time and the transaction appears to be stuck or is being processed very slowly. Does anyone else have any experience with this?
.... Any thoughts?
Well yes , the transaction does become low priority and is processed slower. If it was zero fees, then could take days for it to get through.

I don't think they will ever be able to produce too much to bring the prices down. Or they are keeping it a secret and producing all the gold and already selling it.
