Well that's it ? searchable again? Better provide indepth info about status of coinexchange! Minor minor info of coincap Hi, Coinexchange was running an older wallet build that didn't contain the transaction code fixes. So there wallet was getting hung on unconfirmed transactions. They are in the process of updating to build b257fcd. Once the upgrade is completed we should be out of maintenance again. This should happen relatively soon. So everyone should take note of this because it seems there are old builds floating around. You should be running not just .13.9.0 but build b257fcd as well. You can find this information in the mooncoin-cli -version output or any of the other binary's version output. So check you version and update today. Regards, |

Mebagger2 here. I just wanted to assure everyone here that the Development team is working with Coinexchange to get mooncoin out of maintenance. We hope to have them running again soon and have our coin out of maintenance. They are an independent entity and need time to review the changes needed and are in a very different time zone than the Core developer team. This does cause some delays but we are all working together to get the situation resolved. Your patience and continued support is appreciated. As always we are available for questions on PMs here and telegram.

Good afternoon. This announcement comes from Mooncoin News channel in Telegram: " Coinexchange have reported that there have been a number of invalid transactions on Mooncoin Blockchain. We have asked for a report and have received the specific tx id's. We now need some more information and have requested such. As a trial, we have had our team put through withdrawals from CE and they have gone through properly. One was in USA and one through Australia. The Australian one showed up as an error but after confirming the transaction it went through. One tx took 5 minutes to complete, the other, 8 minutes.
Rest assured the team is working on it. We have been in discussion all morning and are still in communication." |

Mooncoin is listed at CMCcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/mooncoinunfortunately they put it in inactive status due to lack of volume. They recognise only Coinexchange from several exchanges on which Mooncoin is listed at the moment, and now there is no trading volume at Coinexchange's MOON markets, that is why Coinmarketcap temporarily regognises Mooncoin as a coin with inactive markets. To avoid the situation in the future, Mooncoin has to be listed at more than 1 exchange across several of the exchanges featured at Coinmarketcap. About Coinexchange there is no more news currently, but though they only put markets in inactive status (there is no news regarding delisting), it's not good when Mooncoin's reputation depends on 1 exchange, even if the exchange works great. The UNIT market is currently inactive and the wallet is in maintenance. We have had recent issues with invalid deposits and are currently investigating the issue.
Our technical support team is actively working to resolve this and get the market and wallet back online. Unfortunately, we do not have an exact ETA.
Please do not make any deposits or withdrawals while the wallet is still in maintenance as this can cause transaction errors.
If you have made a deposit or withdrawal before realising the wallet was disabled, you will have to wait until it is active again to confirm successful processing. If the transaction does not process successfully, please respond to this ticket and we will look into the issue further.

Mooncoin still has a good network hashrate, no matter reduction of mining rewards took place. That is a good sign of support from miners. Mooncoin's CMC rank was 400-500 some months ago, now 300-400.
Why not list Mooncoin at big exchanges right now: it would cost money and the community could try to raise money for listing, however, probably strategically that would be better to wait until important development on Github from mebagger2.
Why? If there is no big trading volume, big exchanges will easily delist MOON after listing and that would be bad for Mooncoin in people's eyes. Some old coins are listed at Bittrex and have a market cap only $500,000-$2 million. For example, XMG or Goldcoin.
What does it mean? If no one buys a coin, they will not buy it at big exchanges as well.
Definitely big exchanges matter, but only after the coin became really extremely interesting to invest in. Thus, first Mooncoin needs new interesting tech (SmartLikes) to be implemented.
