Just wanted to check in with members and see if anyone has ever used key4co.in - Its pretty straight forward. You send them BTC, they give you a pc video game key/DRM for Steam, Origin, Uplay, etc. My current process for buying games with BTC usually involves me purchasing an Amazon gift card from Gyft using BTC and then buying the video game key through Amazon. However, those are usually full retail price whereas this site seems to have very good (almost too good) prices. For example, right now Titanfall is about $60 everywhere...give or take $5. But on key4co.in its .07 btc, which is basically 45% off retail. And most of the game keys seem to be about half of the usual retail. Im tempted to try it but would really like some feedback from people who have used the site before. Thanks! -D

Ok, great. Thanks. My only problem now is figuring out my Windows DOS commands. Since I've only used a Linux terminal my whole life I am only familiar with that. Actually, thats not enirely true. I think I used Windows DOS/command line input when I was in middle school in a computer class. But just like everything from those days, I did not retain anything

Firstly, install OpenCL driver for your GPU.
Then use cudaminer instead of cgminer for Nvidia.
Don't mine dogecoin as it's too difficult for your GPU, try other altcoins with lower difficulty.
You'll then at least get some shares. Enjoy!
Definitely try this and try mining xen coin. CPU mining is easy and at least you can tell if it is mining correctly. Hell, I have an old laptop that mines xen coins 24 hours a day using cpuminer xen.ltcoin.net

We pay $18-$40 for articles starting from 400 words.
Really? That is a pretty damn good rate for online writing. Ive worked as a freelance writer for many years and I am going to check you out right now

Hey guys,
Ive been running my cgminer and bfgminer on Ubuntu and Mint for a while now. Ive had Windows 8.1 on my recent gaming PC and wanted to install the two on that machine as well. However, and this is important, I am wondering if anyone else has built either one of these miners on 8.1 and if they have experienced any problems in doing so. I did not attempt to install them right away bc at the time, 8.1 was brand new and I wanted to give devs time to work out any kinks. I would like to use this box for mining because I can use MSI Afterburner whereas on any of the Linux OS's Im stuck running cards either hot or not to their full capacity.
So here are my questions/concerns:
1) Are there any common problems with installing cgminer (I may install bfgminer as well) on Windows 8.1?
2) Has anyone had any problems with any of the programs, drivers, or anything else interferring with any games or the necessary dependencies required to run games? If so, I do not want to risk it. My system runs too perfect and I dont want to ruin anything.
Thanks in advance

As per topic title which coin is best to mine atm?
Any potentially good coins due for imminent release?
mine xen coins. you feel rich when you get hundreds of thousands of them. Even though they are worth fuck all.

Attach a monitor or dummy connector first and run it. What is your hash rate with the intensity at 11 or 12? (Or whatever level you can run without it crashing)
Also, what are your temps?
And when you say that it "craps out" what exactly is happening? Does cgminer crash completely or do you just get error messages?

Clipped>> What do you think should be the name? Bitcoin Bonus will send 5 Bitcoins to the person who is the first to submit the winning term which will be what we end up choosing to use for our site. We'll issue a full report of all the terms submitted and the number of votes they received. Multiple entries permitted (each must have a different term per person), submit any term you'd feel comfortable using. Submit your entries here
Once you've submitted your idea, I'd encourage you to announce it here and encourage others to vote for it at Bitcoin Bonus. Wining term and winner to be announced by Sunday, May 22nd here! --Darrell [/quote] Your site seems to be busy blowing farm animals. I was thinking to call them a "Naki" (pronounced "nah * kee")

So I guess we're all blaming Galvin for SN's identity leak?
There is no "leak" of an identity. The Newsweek reporter states all the steps (clearly) that he took to try and ID this person. Anyone can do it and otehrs have gone that exact route before.

Agree thatnothing is really profitable now but you can at least get some coins from a pay per share pool on coins with a really low difficulty. For example, Digger has a Xen Coin pool and BBQ Coin pool that I used to cpu mine
xen.ltcoin.net
bbq.ltcoin.net

|

Is there a working pool for Doubloons?

Here is the deal:
I am using cgminer and it has been working well for weeks.
I just added Ubuntu Unrestricted Extras and it removed libavcodec53 and libavutil51
I fired up mining ANC and it was getting its normal 500-600 kh/s on the single gpu. Now, I fired it up again and it wont go over 15kh/s, mostly staying around 10kh/s
WTF!
Can someone tell me wtf is going on and do I absolutely need to have those other dependencies for cgminer to work? I didnt have to install those to get it running

- snip - I decided to try and earn a few bitcoin online several places offer 10 or 8 uBTC for viewing websites ect. - snip -
No! Stay away! You will regret this. The bitcoin network will refuse to relay transactions that have a payment of less than 0.01 BTC unless you pay a transaction fee of at least 0.0001 BTC (that's 100 µBtc) per kilobyte. Each of these tiny "dust" coins your are receiving will take up a bit less than 200 bytes in a transaction when you go to send bitcoins somewhere else later. So lets say you are collecting 10 "free µBtc" for each visit to the website. Lets say you visit the website 20 times. You now have 200 µBtc, but if you try to send it anywhere, you'll end up with a transaction nearly 4 kilobytes in size. You'll have to pay a fee of 400 µBtc just to send your 200 µBtc somewhere! You'll spend all your µBtc on transaction fees and there won't be anything left to actually send! These "free µBtc" websites prey on those who don't understand how bitcoin works. They "pay" you with amounts they know you'll never be able to spend. They know that having these tiny transactions in your wallet will force you to pay significant fees later when you go to use the coins. They make money off your visit by charging advertisers for placing an add in front of your eyeballs, and then toss you a few shavings of copper off the edge of a penny. They don't care that you will have a bad experience later, they've already milked you for all the profit they can by then. These few paragraphs should appear on every post that asks about "free btc" sites for tasks. Way too many advertise "free btc" but pay in uBTC and, like he stated, hardly ever generate enough activity for a payout. It is the new "Earn money from your computer for doing nothing!" type ads that plagued our precious tubes since the late 90's. I dont understand why we can't just have our series of tubes without stupid interferences. This is why we cant have nice things.
