81  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market is back? on: May 20, 2019, 05:51:42 AM
I think that current situation on the market shows that we are not in the real bull run. But I would say this is nothing unusual, just a correction that was kind of expected after a rather fast rise. Price is fluctuating and I think it will remain so in the upcoming period. Although the price crossed 8000$ it didn't continue to grow but I don't see any reason to be worried or to start selling.
The price fell down to 7090 US dollars this day any all those who had invested in the 8k dollars figure are in loss but they need not to worry about anything because the price movement shows high chances to cross even 10k figure in upcoming days. This downturn is not much serious and now the price is affordable much more at this stage so traders have the opportunity to collect as many coins they want.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The key reason for gambling on: May 20, 2019, 05:27:08 AM
I realize this question was probably raised before, but I believe that the answers might be changing with time, because bitcointalk community grows and because the interests and needs of people can become different in years. I recall a video on addiction that explained that people mainly become addicted because of feeling sad and lonely. When I made a thread about whether gamblers think that gambling addiction has the same reason, the answers differed a lot. Now I am curious what kind of people are gambling here. Are they mainly looking for money, excitement, socialization? Please vote and leave a comment below in case you want to add something to your answer.
People gamble because this is the fastest way to earn money without doing hard work. And due to this mentality, many people have been coming towards gambling and as per the time, they make this thing to their full-time work for making money. And they just accepted that they can do a lot better in this profession. This is what the current situation of the users who just began playing in gambling sites. After losing, the users will increase the further betting amount to recover previous games money. And in the recovering, they will lose more money and takes lone to play more. So it's just addiction or nothing more. Where you spend your savings in the hope of earnings.
83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this year be favourable to you? on: May 20, 2019, 04:35:28 AM
As for me, I just think gambling is no longer for me. Okay I might not have noticed that I was losing money more than I was gaining and that's probably because I have a job that pays and maybe cause I'm also taking gambling for fun. But ever since I started taking note of everything this year, the loss is more than the gain. So what's the need for it?? I can't be involving myself in something that gives new more loses than gain. That's why I am starting to drop it this time around.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralised web - Shift Project? on: May 18, 2019, 01:21:12 PM
What do you guys think about Shift project?

I think it'll be big after phoenix release. You can also host your website on testnet already now.

https://www.shiftproject.com
When they are talking about a decentralized, what are they really referring too, is it that they want build an entire web platform like the internet but in this case it's going to be decentralized which means that it would not be controlled by just a central body but by all the individuals who are holders of the coin and decides to run the node or are they just trying to create a decentralized web browser, because I don't see why the project won't gain traction if the focus was on creating a decentralized internet for the blockchain.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFC Technology on: May 18, 2019, 01:00:01 PM
We at Euno aim to have both by the end of the year but i am wondering which will get used more! Find us on our thread here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4563505.0

Please vote based on which you use the most.

Thanks
I personally will make use of the card and not the wallet because I already have a wallet I own and I love their interface so much, but I want to own a Crypto ATM card so that I would not need fiat anymore for my transactions even in my country, I believe that the card is the main point and should be focused on because a lot of persons will be more interested in owning the card than creating a wallet.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO you think ICO websites help investors to choose best ICO to participate? on: May 18, 2019, 12:38:09 PM
DO you think ICO websites help investors to choose best ICO to participate.
Now there is a lot of websites rating ICOs, most of this websites rate the ICOs, but in other hand this websites charge fees from ICOs.
Which means that this evaluation may not be accurate, so do you trust these websites? and do you recommend using them?

I don't think this ICO rating websites help in actually telling you which ICO project would be a good investment or not, I believe that there is monopoly in the system and they rate those who pay more money than others who doesn't, this is why I won't advice any of my friends or newbie I bring into the system to visit this ICO rating site to get projects for investment because they might end up losing all of their funds to scammers and begin to refer Crypto as a scam instead of a savour.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: Starbucks, Nordstrom And Whole Foods Now Accept Bitcoin on: May 18, 2019, 12:06:28 PM
This is just the beginning of mainstream acceptance in the crypto world, we have been waiting for this day for a very long time and it's already coming to past making us very happy, only an hater of crypto will not rejoice for this kind of good news we receive everyday towards our community, I recently heard that ebay will soon be implementing the bitcoin payment option into its system in no time, this year has been a very create year for cryptocurrency and I am still waiting to hear even much more good news about our community.
88  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm A Professional Trader, Here's My Strategy on: May 18, 2019, 11:31:18 AM
There are peoples who would like to start trading with the cryptocurrencies seeing the bull markets arriving and I really think that the website you created would really be much useful for the newbies and also it might help them to avoid any loss as of entering the cryptocurrency markets. There are a lot of skills and techniques used by individual traders and some of them might never want to share them with the community.

Also you yourself need to gain some more experience to make the markets give you some more knowledge and experience as only 6 months is not that big time and also it might not be called as experienced. It is good to hear that peoples like you are shifting from forex trading to cryptocurrency trading.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top coins to have in my portfolio? on: May 18, 2019, 09:51:25 AM
Hey guys, other than these 10 coins https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/10-coins-to-have-in-your-portfolio/ which other tokens should I consider having in my portfolio?

Input is appreciated!
We have so many crypto coin in the market that would be nice if we could have them in our portfolio but I think the amount of coin one can hold is based on the money he/she has, so if you have enough funds in your possession, then I will say that any of the top 50 coins in the market are likely to moon in price once the bull run begins fully, though there are some few among them that will moon more than the others because they have a very good potential for the future and will gain mass adoption, this includes bitcoin, ethereum, eos and tron.
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I spend the daily expense by playing gambling? on: May 18, 2019, 08:28:20 AM
Do you even have to ask this question?

The answer is obviously no, how can you risk the money you need for your daily expenses.
This thread needs to be locked now. Everyone here knows that you cannot rely on the money from the gambling for your daily needs. Do you know how risky it could be to let your family on the mercy of the uncertain income from the gambling industry? They will suffer a lot or you will suffer in the first place. You really need to get over this addiction and start a business. There are so many opportunities around to do so. Get a loan from bank.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bear market season change to bullrun? on: May 18, 2019, 07:53:36 AM
I want to hear your opinion about changes in current market conditions. Has the bear season really ended and changed into the bull season? Then how do you make a strategy in trading. Buy large quantities of altcoins? Share your opinions to share experiences here. Thanks.

it's obviously Bullrun or bullish season already confirmed based on the graphics chart. Bitcoin is success passed the price resistance 1 at 6,000 $ point, and passed price resistance 2 at 8,000$ point aswell.
now it will move to 10,000$ point, it can be happen in the next week or couple of days I guess.

I hope bitcoin reach $10k in next several weeks. Market trend already change and right now i think we are entering bullish moment on bitcoin. Hopely after that, altcoin price will bullish too and ethereum reach $350. I am just believe cryptocurrency is good long term investment
This is truly amazing and I will tell you this is going to happen. The way Bitcoin made it to the $8000 figure was more like a surprise because it just took Bitcoin a matter of 3 days maybe to rise from less than $7000 to more than $8000. It is still roaming around the $8000 figure and might cross $10,000 in days to come. Having said that, it looks a wise step to speculate.
92  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A better way to invest in cryptocurrency. on: May 18, 2019, 07:17:52 AM
Having a permanent job is better than investing your time in cryptocurrency because your income is secured and continous. Earnings in cryptocurrencies varies and it always contains risks because of volatility and price cycle. Presently, the cryptocurrency market is experiencing a bull rally because of bitcoin and many altcoins had continuing price uptrend but I still prefer to have a secure employment and trade only when there is enough time.
If you are in the crypto thing for money, it is more likely that you are not going to be successful or you might make some profits due to a right time decision but that would be nothing as compared to the profits made by someone who prefer to stay in the crypto market regardless of the market vibes. This is important. A better way to invest in crypto is to get your self fully dedicated along with doing other things as well.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Hits $270: $300 Next? on: May 18, 2019, 06:50:14 AM
I think the first target should be around 350$ and the second one should be 500$.

Of course, there will be bumps on the road but it will reach there.

I am patiently waiting for this opportunity, and I think ETH will never go back to sub $100 after it pump to $270.
All of our thoughts here are just based on our prediction on the future, but it has move that way, the pump has started, so let's remain optimistic for ETH's future.
Right, the current price of Ethereum is 265 US dollars and is another amazing price rocketing after the Bitcoin. Litecoin is not much responsive this time but as we have noticed that all these coins will start uptrend to maximize their prices. All we need is to buy the coins i.e Bitcoin and Ethereum so that we might be able to get the huge returns of it in near future or may be it take another high fly next year.
94  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My luck is very bad for crypto trading 😞 on: May 18, 2019, 06:21:28 AM
If you do not have enough experience in trading, then in the world of digital assets you need to take at least six months or one year and use only reliable and proven sources of information, every day they become more!
in the world of trading, I think experience alone is not enough. even when you have been trading for a long time, but you don't study, I think it's useless. don't rely on luck in this regard, because the results are sometimes disappointing. experience is indeed needed, but, the most important thing is to learn from experience.
It is important to learn from experience but today new traders are focusing on the minimization of bad experience. They do not want to have a bad experience ever in future in the crypto trading and this is a very good sign. They learn always all the time they spend in the crypto trading that will result positively. Other traders who blame their luck after facing with loss are totally wrong, they should learn to trade.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Phoneix BTCP on: May 18, 2019, 05:47:07 AM
All or majority of previous Bitcoin Forks have been unsuccessful because most of those forks effectively had or have an aim to belittle the original Bitcoin. The Phoenix BTCP project will always respect Bitcoin and it's creator's ideologies. Bitcoin Private team, after their ZCassic fork did their best for the forked coin however, couldn't succeed completely primarily due to the market conditions as well as the challenges and integrity issues that they faced from their own team members.

Phoenix BTCP is going to use BTCP as a use case especially for the ethics, values and integrity. Phoenix BTCP will create a more stable, reputable, high performing coin using the same codes BTCP team utilized and developed but with enhanced features. BTCP team's community is a great community and deserves a lot more from what they have gotten so far. Phoenix BTCP will NOT go against Bitcoin; will NOT undervalue other competing coins; will NOT over promise. The Phoenix BTCP will deliver what this world wants and what this community deserves. No major commitments except for this one that this new project WILL HIT one of the top 3 Crypto Exchanges on its Launch. Stay tuned BTCP holders....

On this new project development, take note, the Phoenix BTCP will give each BTCP holder a value for their money. Respect for Respect, Value for Value, Coin for a Coin!!

"Do you remember the 21st night of September?
Love was changing the minds of pretenders
While chasing the clouds away"

I am hurt but I am not out....still alive...

Stay Tuned.....
Okay, I think you are getting me so confused now because I don't understand what you are trying to talk about, are you saying that there was a coin that was supposed to fork out of bitcoin but didn't anymore due to some issues in the market or are you saying that you want to start up a project, all I could see here is parables that cannot be read, maybe it's just me though, let me hear others opinion.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What information does the participation in the airdrop focus on this currency? on: May 18, 2019, 05:19:48 AM
Do you often participate in airdrops? What information will you care about? Is it on the exchange? What is the price of the currency? what is this else? What do you think the airdrop activities of the project are doing well?
Most of the coin in the market that gives out airdrops turns out to be shitcoin because any thing given out for free to people is not really valued by those it was given to, this is why it is good for them to carry out some task before the coin is being rewarded to them, and one thing you should know is that only 1 in every 30 airdrop that actually gets to pay you something reasonable when they get into the Crypto market so you just have to be ready to do trial and error to be able to earn from airdrop.

98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC price is much more important than USD price on: May 17, 2019, 12:40:21 PM
When people discuss crypto prices, they always do so in relation to the US dollar, however this should only be correct when discussing Bitcoin - for alts the more important metric is their price in BTC.
Why? Because it indicates their performance relative to Bitcoin, so if Bitcoin rises and alts rise too, the first thing that you have to look at is their price change in BTC - when it's negative, it means that BTC outperforms them, and the opposite if it's positive.
Bitcoin is often called the king of crypto, and rightfully so - it's more stable, more safe, has higher volumes than any other coins, so when you invest in alts, you absolutely want them to outperform BTC, otherwise you are taking unjustifiable risks and get lower profits.
I believe that it is normal that the price of bitcoin is being compared with that of USD for now because this is the best way we could be able to get the exact worth of bitcoin since bitcoin itself is not so recognized in the world as a currency, but I believe in just a few years to come when the price of bitcoin have gotten to $100,000,000 because the value of fiat would have been ran down to nothing, then we are going to just depend on the value of bitcoin and it's smallest unit (“satoshi”).

This topic was created years ago and no one replied to now, I believe the cause of this is posting a topic in the wrong part of the forum, it is very important that we know the rules and regulations guiding a forum or a subforum before making a post there because even if the topic wasn't deleted by a moderator, we might not get the desired result we need, this part of the forum is just for altcoin discussion and nothing more, so issue on trading should not be made in this part of the forum but in the trading discussion section.
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The key reason for gambling on: May 17, 2019, 11:54:18 AM
I'll go with to earn money, most of the people I know gamble to earn money, they try there luck in gambling to improve their way of living. It's like thinking that gambling is the only way for them to improve when in fact, not most of them are lucky enough to win in gambling. But I think it still depend on who gambles whether they do it for fun, to earn money or to relieve stress.
I think that earning money is a key reason for gambling. You won't be able to have a fun experiencing too many losses thus you need to win to feel yourself good.

There is no other reason for them to gamble except money. I don't understand people saying that they can just gamble for fun or entertainment. That just means that they are having fun risking their money and doubling it or taking the pot or prize and that obviously means that they want to earn or win money and that also means that they want to have fun and earn money, that is still their reason.
I think there are different types of people and to be honest, not all of them try to gamble for money. Some might gamble at sports out of fondness and some might do so for monetary gains. But the general perception among people is the later I talked about. It is monetary benefits to a greater extent that motivates them to be part of the gambling world and make money.
