81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No hype is good on: September 06, 2020, 03:19:10 PM
No hype is really good. If you bought coins during a hype its not a really good idea. I choose not to decide anyything during a hype rather i buy when im done researxhing.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance in trouble over listing scam defi token on: September 06, 2020, 11:17:07 AM
Its hard to blame binance over this. They are afterall a platform and investors should make their own research especially when about to risk their own hard earned money.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: September 06, 2020, 09:18:04 AM
Believe me my friend, anywhere in the world, it is not easy to make money. If you see any airdrop that promises 100$, 200$, 300$, 500$ and above just for referring peeps, or sharing post online, then it is atmost 99% fraudulent.

Likewise, if you see trade signals that promises certainty, or bounties that promises you a fixed price for your token, be wary. It is not that easy nor realistic.

Its never a good sign when something offers a very high return rate. Its most likely a scam if they promise a big amount for referring someone in these scam projects.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum overpower Bitcoin in the future? Which side are you on? on: September 06, 2020, 07:05:52 AM
This might be possible but not in a near future. Ethereum is making a name for itself, its being used in a much more regular transaction than bitcoin. But bitcoin is still being hyped even until now.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Recent profitable coins? on: September 06, 2020, 01:09:26 AM
You know about recent profitable coins?
I want to invest in crypto and want to know recent profitable coins? Please help and suggest me about recent best coins. Some days ago i just invest on TwT coins and it give me huge profits.and Btc also.. If have a good suggestion. You can suggest me. Adavance thanked   Smiley

Try looking into NOIA. they have some big partners right now and their white paper is pretty solid. Just last month their coin jumped to 10x the amount. And i dont see it going down soon rather take more in value.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the crypto community getting lost again? on: September 05, 2020, 02:16:04 PM
I mean when has it not been lost. The start of BTC is creating this coin for a different purpose but it became known for something that is not that. Let it be lost. It has always been like that.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not fall for all DeFi HYPES on: September 05, 2020, 03:33:29 AM
Theres a significant amount of projects jumping ship to DeFi because of the hype. These projects jumped to DeFi inorder to ride the wave DeFi was pulling. Its actually sad if youre one of those people who believed in those projects only for them to change routes inorder to gain more investors.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many listed coins on exchange without volume, any reasons? on: September 04, 2020, 04:37:24 PM
I guess one of the reasons are people are trying to sell value less coins in a desperate attempt to cash on them. Ive read on a thread before that some people are trying to sell coins from dead projects.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your favourite coin and token ? on: September 04, 2020, 10:17:34 AM
what are the coins or tokens that you hold at the moment and explain why you choose that
hope this can help others in choosing what cryptocurrency is good for hold and has a bright future  ☺️ .
personally I invest in XLM and XRP , is both coin are good as a long-term investment ?

For now im kinda biased on NOIA. Im new at this crypto business and trading and its the first project ive actually been at the start of, ive been following a lot of projects but this is the only project ive been in that ive noticed the start of it. And i actually believe in this project.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: September 04, 2020, 06:54:17 AM
A lot of people actually hold unto their coins even when it seems like its dying, because who knows if its value go back up. But also a lot of people dump them to move on and not hold unto things and just let go. Im the second person. Its exhausting keeping track of too many coins after all.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greedy crypto developers on: September 04, 2020, 03:02:40 AM
Developers should stop taking investors as fools, you cooked your project up to your taste and everything seem fine enough but because you are too greedy and can't take your eye off DeFi success you decide to switch your project to DeFi. Seriously are investors stupid enough to go along with your obvious trick? To all developers who are doing this, it's a complete slap to your faces, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves.

These guys only want one thing even before starting their projects, they want to earn. They see DeFi gaining a lot of hype, ofcourse they were going to jump ship. It just sucks for the investors who actually believed in them tho.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: September 03, 2020, 12:50:02 PM
A lot of people that have no experience or context what crypto is thinks that this is easy money. When in reality nothing is for certain and we are all taking a gamble. Winning or gaining profit from a trade depends on how good the team behind the project is. And who knows what team is not dead.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad projects equals Bad results on: September 01, 2020, 01:34:03 PM
This makes obvious sense. But the sad part is, the projects that disappoint you the most are the most promising projects on paper. Its harder to judge a project especially if they have all these potential just to leave it hanging.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto after COVID-19 on: September 01, 2020, 04:07:27 AM
Once COVID-19 took the world by storm, the world's economy has been on a constant decline. Crypto has largely benefited from this, as the market experienced new gains in such as short amount of time. There's now a stablecoin and "De-Fi" craze making many ERC-20 tokens, stablecoins, and even Ethereum extremely popular in the mainstream world. Their prices have increased at a fast pace, leading many wondering what will come up next after the demise of COVID-19. If the world's economy starts recovering at a slow and steady pace, crypto's gains might not last for long. Maybe everything will return back to the way it was before the deadly disease? Or maybe crypto prices will remain stagnant on the market?

Whatever happens after COVID-19, there's no denying that crypto is a resilient alternative financial system in times of need. In a first of its kind, crypto has remained "impervious" from negative events in the mainstream world. My guess is that crypto will continue to go higher in price even after the demise of COVID-19, as people's trust in the banking system will diminish. The premier cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) will be officially recognized as a true alternative of Gold, proving itself as a store of value in times of need.

Thoughts? Huh

Seeing that during this pandemic the crypto world has risen due to people depending in the internet more than ever. when the time covid-19 will end, itll be harder for these people to turn their backs away from the internet. I think the crypto business will continue to prosper.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: August 30, 2020, 06:52:00 AM

96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest for quick gains only on: August 30, 2020, 03:28:51 AM
Do not invest on DeFi projects that are just DeFi, make sure the DeFi project you pick has better utilities,  ChainLink for example has Oracle to offer, few new DeFi projects I see lately are just using DeFi
name, be careful, Here are few lists of DeFi projects that are more than just the Hypes surrounding them because they actually have some to offer.

DIA

DIA (Decentralized Information Asset) is a Swiss not-for-profit and open-source blockchain project with a mission to drive the adoption of transparent, open-access data and oracles just like chainlink

https://diadata.org/

ORION PROTOCOL

Do you guys remember DYCO? That's a new crowdfunding strategy from Maker team and Orion Protocol is the first to try DYCO out and it was successful, Orion is building B2B and B2C solutions on the most advanced liquidity aggregator

https://www.orionprotocol.io/

COMPOUND

Compound is a money market protocol that lets users earn interest or borrow assets against collateral, all from the Ethereum blockchain. Compound was one of the first DeFi companies of this recent DeFi cycle to gain mass attention as their native token, COMP, skyrocketed in value before correcting to current levels.

CURVE FINANCE

Launched in early 2020, Curve allows users to trade between stablecoins with low slippage, low fee algorithm designed specifically for stablecoins. Curve is one of the early proponents of yield farming and currently offers 7 pools where users can stake stablecoins to earn rewards, such as new currencies.

These are good examples of real use cases and these projects aren't here to take advantage of DeFi hype but to actually deliver real utilities, there are more good DEFi projects out there  e.g Synthetix and Oikos Cash , do good research and avoid investing blindly for quick gains, thank you

Some of these are really good. But i dont think telling people to not deal with quick gains will be of help. Some people out there make a living out of this, out of trading fast even with minimal gains.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the project is fake? on: August 30, 2020, 02:18:58 AM
Fake project is really frustrating if you're one of the victim especially for investors and bounty hunters.
I had read an interesting way to make sure the project is real. You can identify the project is fake by it's address of the company who is running IEO/ICO. Fake project would be indentify with this way because they put fake location. You can check it with google maps to verify if it's real.

So how do you indentify if the project is fake?

This has become extra relevant espicially during this pandemic. There are a lot of projects popping up trying to get into the hype. While most of these are just seemingly reviving old coins but in reality theyre just selling dead coins to hopeful investors. Cant call it fake project tho, just flat out dead.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers in a top exchanges telegram groups on: August 29, 2020, 12:38:44 PM
This is for all newbies and those who don't know, please share among friends

Every single telegram channels or groups of crypto exchanges are tagged by scammers, be extremely careful

The moment you have a problem with an exchange you will instantly get messages from people claiming to be team of the exchange, you can get the following messages

1. How can we help you?
2. What problem are you facing on our exchange?

They will pretend to be the exchange help service and they will ask you to make deposit to get your issue resolved, honestly if you aren't familiar with scammers you can easily fall victim

Group channel of exchanges like binance, kucoin, Okex, huobi are full of scammers waiting for people that needs the team help to resolve an issue, be wise

Scammers are everywhere, this cannot be stressed enough. I have a friend whos been involved in crypto for quite a while and still fell victim to it. She doesnt even remember why she fell for it, she just trusted someone without back checking the account. The guy that messaged her posed as one of the admins taking on the name and profile picture. She didnt notice it was a poser till it was too late.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: August 29, 2020, 06:34:37 AM
So I bought an altcoin called batcoin from a cryptocurrency exchange website. I even withdrew all my coins to an offline wallet, because I don't exactly trust exchange websites. However, the exchange it was listed is now gone, due to a hack.

So now I am stuck with coins that have no value.  Undecided

Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

What do you think I should do now?

Ooh tough luck buddy. Ive heard that batcoins are being abandoned even by the creators at that. Batcoins are basically of no value anymore. Im sorry to hear about that.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects and their unreal excuses on: August 28, 2020, 11:47:38 PM
Some of these projects are becoming too obvious. A lot of projects are popping up during the pandemic but some are making the pandemic as an excuse to not deliver. Unreal.
