its low for now,as i said that fair miner fee amount is 0,1 mbtc it can take up to 4 days.you got to wait,but dont forget to check your wallet sometimes. How can you say its low if you dont know what the size of the transaction is? Hello,
It`s been 2 hours since I sent 0.2BTC to another wallet and there are no confirmations(the bitcoins have arrived at the destination). I usually send bitcoins using my mycelium app using normal transaction fee and it takes top 10 minutes to reach 2-3 confirmation.
Is this normal? Is there a risk of not reaching any confirmation?

Welcome, be careful with advice you get here, because some users post to get paid for the signature and not to help others. There are also users that actually want to help, but dont know enough to do so. They may or may not have a paid signature. In general you should take everything you read here with a grain of salt. Anyway, to the topic. Its actually not normal that you usually have 2-3 confirmation within 10 minutes. On average(!) every 10 minutes a block is found. Thus you should get 1 confirmation every 10 minutes on average. There are also many transactions waiting for a confirmation. Currently ~28k  The miners that include the transaction into blocks and get you your first confirmation prioritize by fee per byte, because the size of a block is limited and they want to get as much bitcoin as possible. Thus it is possible that you have wait for a few blocks until a miner picks up your transaction. From my personal experience with mycelium the "normal" fee option is usually fine, but you might not get included in the next block. So I would suggest you wait a little longer. The "priority" fee can help with this if the transaction is urgent. Im not spammer.I have written them in the light of my knowledge,i dont even know the size of the transaction is factor in the confirmation,i have not seen it at anywhere. |

I want to know the best GPU I can buy right now to profit in script mining. I already have Antminer S3s running alongside, mining new SHA-256 coins but I want to run script mining so that I can cover the losses for running my Antminers.
Is there any updated thread here showing the comparison between various GPUs that are profitable for mining script or other algorithms?
Unfortunately,you can't cover the losses for your running antminers with mining any scryptcoin. Why ? Because there is ASICs too for scrypt algorithm.shortly its like mining bitcoin with gpu. But you can mine various coins and make good profits, monero,monero-like,sia,vanillacoin,spreadcoin That and the lifespan of graphic cards are great, honestly 7950 came out 4 years ago and is occasionally used still for mining and has a lot better resale value. How long will maxwell cards be good for mining? 4-5 years? How long for an S7? since im not about mining bitcoin idk about s7.i think it can't exceed 5 years,you know new technologies are presented almost every 1.5 year by the companies.i dont know the all recent maxwell nvidia cards but if you want an advice mine is gtx 960 it has cuda 5.2 its fairly cheaper than higher models when giving good enough performance. also sp_ , djm34 and others working hard on improving speed of ccminer for compute 5.0 , 5.2 cards |

the risk is depends on fee if you haven't pay any fee that is possible your transaction will never be confirmed. how much pee did you pay for the miners ? fair amount is 0.1 mbtc |
