All the latest stock Bitmain FW for S3, S4, S4+, S5, S7 works fine, nothing extra to do.

Kano will only let us grow so large before he stops allowing new miners (if I recall his goal is 10% of the network).
Really?

Restart itself takes just seconds but ckdb reloads everything and processing all data for a few minutes after start, before data will be available on website for users.

While Kano is sleeping I may try to answer - if my answer instead of Kano will be ok to you.

ckdb works together with ckpool and all miners works against ckpool.
As Kano restarting ckdb only it doesn't affect on mining process and on shares count, these are logged with ckpool.  After ckdb restart it reloads all log files from ckpool and processing all data. Nothing lost.

OneInchWonder,
you are comparing uncomparable numbers especially in different Network Difficulty periods and your test result  is nothing, sorry about this. It might be good idea to learn some math before doing this and difference between payout schemas at Slush and Kano.is pools. Also I tell nothing about current Slush probs

But your conclusion is correct - Kano's pool is much better Smiley

Why u still staying here with such luck?

Nice gift for New Year!  3 blocks at Dec, 31 Smiley

S7 with December firmware switched to backup with no probs, no actions required.
93  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [6 PH] Kano CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: December 27, 2015, 03:35:02 PM
StevenD,
you've forgot one last but not least thing - Network Difficulty.
Nov 18 - 65G diff
Dec 24 - 93G diff
it raised for +47% roughly

And pool hashrate raised from 2.2 PH/s to 5.56 PH/s,  +152%

so your part from the total submitted shares count is very small.

Shift hours dropped because of pool luck for last blocks. Please read once again about 5Nd payout.

With your S3 unfortunately you will earn almost nothing these days, it might be good idea to try lottery at solo.ckpool.org and maybe you are lucky

This is bitcoind message, every bitcoind displaying this.. defined block time 10 minutes, but now it is at least twice often..

No backorders, I do not want and I will not have any domain rights as domain is not expired (for public use) and it was renewed by registrar for their own interest.  I just will pay for this on behalf of the real owner and this is possible sometimes under some conditions and when you know right contact to ask about this Smiley  Funds already charged and we just need some time up to 24-48 hours (already less) for some manual processing.  It will be renewed or I will be refunded.  Will let you know.

Official forums at dash.org might be  the best solution, but current topics at least google indexed and they may be available while server running and there are a lot of info there anyway.  Hack with hosts file will work but anyway working domain much better.
I've just got message from domain registrar representative - domain was renewed yesterday by original owner so I got refund.  It changes nothing as domain is working now but just to notify that it was not me Smiley  Owner renewed it himself in a period of time when my request to registrar was already submitted&paid but before it was manually renewed. Just FYI.

Is there any way to renew domain that you don't own? Never heard about it...
Nobody knows everything...

There is such a thing as a backorder.   I wonder if your backorder will beat mine placed days ago.

It doesn't really matter since the official forums will be hosted on dash.org.  I'm just hopeful I can protect the domain from people with less than wholesome intentions.    Roll Eyes

Just FYI,  I will try to renew DASHTALK.ORG within 24-48 hours. If successful it will be available again soon while server is still working..
Anyway it might be good idea to bring another forum at DASH.ORG as mentioned above to prevent such blackouts..

PS: I am not dashtalk.org owner.

One minor problem with bitcoind is that you can't tell it to change that limit without shutting it down and restarting it.
Since I now run 3 bitcoind on the main server it's not that much of an issue to switch settings I guess.
Just interested why 3 bitcoind on the same server?  I understand they are specified as backups to ckpool and maybe connected to different nodes but will you share detals?
