81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: electricity consuption for 1 bitcoin on: May 24, 2016, 06:15:29 PM
I make a model to reduce a energy consuption for mining farms.
The basic idea is to use gaspistons gensets with cogeneration\trigeneration systems.
With this idia we can get chep kWe and free thermal power wich we can use to produce colling way in trigeneration system.

How does this even work?

To reduce mining costs you could use the heat generated to heat water and deliver this heat to houses in winter, but then coal/gas might be still cheaper and winter is only small part of the year + at the places where indstrial miners have cheap electricity (probably around 2 cents/1kwh) there wont be big town near anyway

Well i think solar panels actually save quite a lot of energy if you're run a couple of miners at your home. Though they are expensive; its worth it in the long term.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to choose a better name for Bitcoin, what would it be? on: May 24, 2016, 06:14:25 PM
Bitcoin; it just rolls out of the tongue. It would be cool though if it’s used a simple names such as “rin” That’s the name of the currency from a new game that I’m developing soon. But bitcoin is still a good name.
83  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: May 24, 2016, 06:12:34 PM
Join a signature campaign is a really good way of earning bitcoin on this forum, but since you're a newbie it would talk about a month for you to actually start earning money from these posts because most signature campaigns accept higher ranked members and not newbies. While you wait you can do some freelancing jobs if you have any service that you can provide according to your skill. You can also try typing 1000captchas for $1.5 worth of bitcoin if thats your cup of coffee.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: May 24, 2016, 06:05:07 PM
A good way for someone to learn is ways to obtain bitcoin; beginning with faucets, then as he realises that it’s a slow method of obtaining it; new ways are open to them like mining and signature campaigns. Making and developing that interest and eventually being resulted in  investing in Bitcoin. This is the best way to teach someone about the bitcoins.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: May 24, 2016, 06:00:55 PM
Recently I interviewed people about Bitcoin, and the ability to have the same impression:
Most people trust banks. This is especially felt in the developed countries where the banking infrastructure is well developed. Consumers love and appreciate the stability and reliability, for this they are even ready to pay more for financial products. They do not want to understand how the product works, they need affordable and simple solutions. People who have heard of Bitcoins, consider it illegal tool, and the rest believe that cryptocurrency can only be used for the purchase of drugs and weapons.

Well I'm not surprised that they think banks are secure. And I also understand those who think bitcoins are used for illegal purposes, which infact, back in the past is kinda true.

However, we need to remove that stigmata and reintroduce them to bitcoins, which is now currently the dominant cryptocurrency used all over the world and the network.
They should also know and understand that bitcoin is getting ready for real world adoption.

Well i'm a bitcoin user; the main problem that i face is finding a place to actually use that money. I have no credit card so i cant actually convert the bitcoins to usd and transfer to a bank account. Its just there for doing online payments that accept bitcoin.
86  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: May 24, 2016, 05:53:43 PM
I bought some coins for holding, cause everybody knows, halving is coming. I really want to see how much profit i can get after all. Hope i willnot be frustrated.

You will.not be frustrated, don't worry. Bitcoin price is steadily increasing though not that big increase. It is steadily adding small amounts and growing near 500 each day.

I agree and I am voting for this kind of increase. Slowly but surely. We dont want to see ourselves panicking when a big wave comes. That might also lose the price of the bitcoin when everybody is selling.

Almost 3/4 of all BTC has been mined already and will be near 90% until next halving, so the supply will be decreasing drastically over next few years and the demand steadily increasing.
I think there are still more than 9 million bitcoin more that have not been mined. so it is still a very long bitcoin reached that point. if all bitcoin already been mined? and divided to all users? then what will happen to the bitcoin? I'm very curious.
is it possible buying bitcoin will still occur?

Yes that the reason people not selling bitcoins much and only buying which is also causing an increase in the price. Halving is another factor which is makng people invest in coins. Its the currecny for the future and we should invest in it.
87  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: May 24, 2016, 05:51:50 PM
If women are tech savvy then they will surely start using it but if they are comfortable with credit card and fiat they will never get into bitcoin for sure.

Woman just need money or i guess everyone need money. So if you give good offer for services in Bitcoin, then surely
women should be impressed and they will involve more and more in bitcoins and its trade also.
88  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: We split profit 50/50%! ▶▶ [banned mixer] Affiliate Program ★★★★★ on: May 21, 2016, 04:09:00 PM
This site is gradually getting more popularity  and the signature campaign makes the it too much popular. In a few weeks, I guess cryptomixer will become the more popular bitcoin mixer.
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: Getting closer to Halving but .. no increase ? on: May 21, 2016, 04:05:46 PM
we are pretty close to halving now and after several weeks no increase for bitcoin prices seems today slowly but sure the prices has rise up and i had buying during prices $430 and the current prices $435-$438 but i'm still hold my bitcoin and hoping we will reach to $440 today or tomorrow

I think we're not much close to the halving. Only the price rise happening is just of the technology and on its gradual rise. The halving effects will cause a increase in price when you are one or two weeks away from halving date.

You should see bitcoin's price going up and up, it is slow but not going down when halving will come than automatically bitcoins price will increase very high, may be it will be 700$ reached. than you should sell your bitcoins because after halving bitcoins price will going down, so it depend on you how you can get profit.
90  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: May 21, 2016, 04:02:51 PM
I want ask anyone if i give you 10 Btc what will you do. because i want investment but i have no any good idea to invest it (except gambling) but i don't like dambling. So i want ask you viewS.
just give me that 10BTC now,i will show you what will i do with that amount Cheesy
i just hold it 5BTC to waiting for bitcoin halving, and use 5BTC to open website that have so many affiliate, its can give me profit.

I think the best way if you have 10 btc you should save it now, you can see very passing day bitcoins price increased, now it is good to save your bitcoins instead of investment. otherwise gambling is not a good investment , gambling is all depend on lose and lose, letter bit you can earn profit. but you can't say that it is a profit. so you should avoid gambling.

92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Memory is cheap - on: May 21, 2016, 03:53:09 PM
The post is about cheap memory. Bandwidth is another issue. Bandwidth is very cheap also. The only issue is with the Network Infrastructure, the protocols used and handshaking between different types of network and so on.
Look at the chart again. It is related about Bandwidth and not about the cheap memory. Cheesy
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS basically DESTROYED on: May 21, 2016, 03:52:30 PM
China didn't design the ASIC, the mining to say the least, software is provided by western. Just utilize their production capacity.
Even 98% hash from China, they are not from the same group. Last tie I read, the money/technology backing up the operation is from western.

I don't know where we will end up with all this. China definitely owns mining. If bitcoin controlled by china, why dont we go to china?or at least we can consolidate with china, and ask them have a good control. i dont think china is  trying to control bitcoin because i'm sure china know that bitcoin cannot controlled. We all want bitcoins to be mined no matter  where they are mined.

95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: May 19, 2016, 04:56:25 PM
it is wrong if you consider it anything more than a hobby, you can't make stable profit from it and you shouldn't spend too much time on it, Also never use big amounts in it IMO.
I agree with you. if we look at gambling as a source of income was very wrong. but if it's a hobby or having fun its good. because if you consider it as a source of income you will be addicted and could also lose all your money and also can make you crazy.

Use gambling as a time for fun, don't try to get rich out of it. Most of the time you loose, and it takes lot's of time, money, bets and effort to skill up.
I don't ever lose more than that what I had set aside for the fun money. Also-know when to quit when you are ahead. Usually depends on the situation, but if I hit a couple lucky runs,I will replace my fun money with profits, so that even if I lose, I still maintain my profit. Grin
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: May 19, 2016, 04:51:29 PM
im one sick bastard then xD

You better cure your sickness when it is still early and there is still medicine to stop that. Earlier solution and curing it will be better, rather than if you already get addicted to gambling and no one could stop well it will become a syndrome xD
Absolutely, being addicted with gambling is hardest disease to cure, that is an emotional disease where you cannot control your self and you just gamble regularly just to satisfied your cravings to it. When you gamble you cannot decided well so in the long run you will lose and might lead you to bankruptcy.

Yes Sickness thats a better word for Gambling. Its sort of sickness.  It is just a pay for entertaining if you are just want to play to win you will lose everything, gambling is for fun not for living. But if you are lucky , you can be the richest in small amount of time.
you should  manage with right balance and timing to quit. will help you to not lose too much.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: May 19, 2016, 04:49:47 PM
I think they just want to buy in cheap.
I think it's because they do not believe bitcoin in the future. Well, maybe they think soon bitcoin will not be used and will are abandoned. but if we see a very rapid development of technology, I think this will make bitcoin really become a tool very good deals, we can see some of the news that there are some countries that already accept bitcoin

Bitcoin is growing guys, we don't need to worry about the future of bitcoin, and we don't need to listen what people are saying about bitcoin, they just follow what people around them feels about bitcoin.

Yeah either they are not knowledgeable enough or they are highly talented so that they can take advantage of it if people start selling all thier coins looking at rumors around them, wise people will always ignore this kind of rumors.

BTC is not dead. Value of bitcoin is almost stable but soon it will rise. So instead of making false excuses that bitcoin is dead, they should see the current and the future of bitcoin. Which is very promising.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: May 19, 2016, 04:41:09 PM
The poor people that live from the hopes of making money on gambling are very deluded and im sorry for them. Im broke myself and I know how stupid it would be to spend my hard earned money in risky gambling. Sure, taking big risks its the only way to get out of the broke situation, but if you lose you will not even be broke anymore, you will be on the streets begging for food and I would rather stay broken than that. My only hope is that my Bitcoins are valuable enough in 10 years to change my life.
Most of the people do not understand, how gambling should be played unlike you. They forget the value of their bitcoin and simply going for gambling to waste them.
I guess you will become rich with your bitcoin hoardings and you will come back to gambling after you become rich.

That's a wise thing you say. For some bitcoin holds less value then money. Which is a wrong, since they both hold the same value. For that reason people in casino's play with chips and not with money. It's easier to depart from your chips then to depart from your money

If we come back to the main question, If you were rich, would you still gamble? ofcousrse the Rich people only gamble. It is not the game of poor people to gamble. You need money to gamble and rich person has it.
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: Getting closer to Halving but .. no increase ? on: May 19, 2016, 04:39:43 PM
Yeah its getting closer but if you see the price is very stable they are affraid for bitcoin crash because block halving is to far..
And i think even after block halving it need more months or weeks before we will see that the price will increase as like other opinion..

I think many miners have held back many of there coins to sell after halving. So the price may (initially go up only to) end up lower... but after all is sorted in a few months time Bitcoin will begin to rise in price, possibly near the end of the year.
Yeah your but now according to preev the price is now 453 and its gradually increase but im not use if it will continues increase.. because there still possibility that the price will dump again..

The price is increasing but not too faster, may be when halving will come than the price will going fast but you can't say that no increase. if you see last  2 or 3 months the different the price of the bitcoins going up and up. i hope you will see when halving come the price of bitcoins will cross 800$.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: May 19, 2016, 04:37:15 PM
I am not agree with your this point. do you thing buying/selling of coins (bitcoin and other altcoins) are not profitable? I am sorry but you are not saying truth. trading is the most profitable source of income. if you do trading with experience and you know how to trade correctly, you'll get huge benefit with trading.
just buy sell at the right time.
