81  Economy / Computer hardware / Wanted - Antminer R4 (With or without PSU) on: November 10, 2017, 11:46:59 AM
I am looking for an antminer R4. Does anyone have any for sale?

Must be willing to use escrow with ognasty or psychoticboy. I will not send to any other address other than their confirmed ones, so no fake escrow emails please!

If there are PSUs included, would be up for paying a bit extra for one.

82  Economy / Goods / Panasonic FZ1000EB Bridge Camera - 4K ready + 3 Spare Batteries + Box + Charger on: October 22, 2017, 01:17:20 PM
I am selling my Panasonic FZ1000EB bridge camera. This is a high end bridge camera and is capable of 4K video. It comes with two spare batteries.

The camera is in mint condition although a bit of the symbols on the dial to change shooting modes have rubbed off, functionally the camera is sound.

Selling as I am upgrading to a full DSLR.

The camera tends to cost between £450 - £550 new and does not come with any more than 1 battery, this has four batteries, the original Panasonic battery, a duracell brand spare battery and another spare battery. All of these have been fully charge cycled. This camera was great for a trip to Nepal.

Escrow accepted through OgNasty or Psychoticboy.

If you use 4K video, you will need an SD Card of UHS-3 or faster, UHS-I is too slow and the writing speed will cause 4K video shooting to stop as it cannot write to the card fast enough!

0.09 BTC all in.
83  Economy / Goods / Sony Xperia Z5 - Unlocked - 0.028 BTC on: October 22, 2017, 01:10:38 PM
I am selling my Xperia Z5 as I have updated to the XZ premium. This phone has been fully wiped and unlocked to work on all networks.  0.028 BTC.

The phone is in good condition, with a very minor crack at the top right of the glass, this does not go over the screen area and is confined to one small corner. The rest of the casing is in mint condition.

Escrow Accepted through Ognasty or PsychoticBoy, pictures available upon request, comes with charger and UK plug.

84  Economy / Goods / 128 GB SD Cards - UHS - 3 4K Ready SD Card - 0.013 BTC (2 Available) on: October 22, 2017, 01:08:12 PM
I am selling two Full Size SD cards at 128GB capacity. Originally bought these for a 4K camera but I am selling it. The cards have been fully tested (to capacity) and are genuine.

0.013 BTC each, escrow accepted through Ognasty or PsychoticBoy.

85  Economy / Goods / SparkTronics - www.sparktronics.co.uk Accepting Bitcoin - Console + PC Retailer on: March 20, 2017, 01:36:57 AM
We at sparktronics are now accepting Bitcoin at our online store. We sell games consoles and offer games console repair services, with worldwide shipping. We offer a full warranty on all of our consoles and ship worldwide. We now accept Bitcoin at our E-Commerce shop for consoles, computing gear and console repair services, based in the UK.

The shop is in beta phase so theming is not fully completed, but we are taking orders and have established a history of trading on eBay with feedback as well.

We accept BTC as a payment method with BitPay, we are still adding products we have in stock, but currently have Playstation 4 and Playstation 3 units ready to purchase including some rare low firmware 1.76 PS4s (no interest to the average gamer due to their high price, but for those wanting to run linux on the PS4 they are desirable as you cannot go back once updated past firmware 1.76).

We will have a wider range of consoles listed here over the next few days. Sales have been good on our eBay store and facebook page, but accepting BTC and other digital currencies is also a goal.

Visit us as www.sparktronics.co.uk!

We offer services such as disk drive replacement, BGA rework, etc.
86  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [FS] knc titans a lot of stuff on: February 04, 2017, 01:50:53 PM
The titan had serious electronics flaws, including ground faults, if the ground on a connector lifts, it tries to find ground through all the 5 pin connectors across all dies and cubes, causing failure. There was lack of power regulation etc. No heatsinks on the DC-DC converters, trying to pull up to 300W through 1 PCI-E slot.  The L3 is more homely due to lower power usage, especially on a 120 volt supply. A kid science project could have done it better...

The proof is in the pudding that they were very unreliable, although gentarkins mod helped. Don't get me wrong i got good profit from titans, but their ship has sailed, their race is run unless power is free.

I did my math, if you sell it at that price then good on you tbf, i do not see a problem with that Smiley But i gave my justifications as to my 'low' offer, as i am not being a knob, just realistic with figures.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Do not buy a KNC titan at higher than 1.5 BTC - read (current diff 102k) on: February 03, 2017, 01:39:59 PM
This is another post i wrote elsewhere to justify my offer on a titan, without free electric. The highest i see advertised is $4000 USD (4 BTC).

Bitmain antminer L3:

https://asicminermarket.com/product/l3-litecoin-miner-250mhs-400watt/

A GOOD KNC TITAN is 400? MH/s @ 1300w @ the wall. Most are 320, my math is based on 400.

The antminer L3 is 250 MH/s, 150 MH/s less.

With the 250 MH/s L3, this is your profit at 10c /kWh: 119.15 USD / month

https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc?hashrate=250&speedunit=MH%2Fs&difficulty=102398.53515485&price=3.8996&currency=USD&power=400&energycost=0.10

With 400 MH/s, 1300w @ the wall:143.12 USD / Month profit (At current diff).

At your cost, it would take 25 months to ROI provided diff remained the same, which it isn't as new hardware is coming on the network pushing it up. So an already 3 year old miner would need more than another two years to ROI if diff remained the same.

The monthly profit of the bitmain is lower, but the price is also £800 GBP lower roughly, and as it is new hardware with a warranty your chance of hitting ROI are better.

You are asking 3.8 BTC. for 4 BTC i can get TWO bitmain units, which would at 500 MH/s at 800w at the wall at 10c / kWh would give me: 238.29 USD a month profit, just under $100 more a month than your titan, new with a warranty from Bitmain.

https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc?hashrate=500&speedunit=MH%2Fs&difficulty=102398.53515485&price=3.8996&currency=USD&power=800&energycost=0.10

Titans used to go for insane prices due to the profit and I made boatloads of profit from my titans and sold them all off just before Bitmain announced it, but even then i got £2000 for one, £1750 for another which was a fair price. Now though, you will not sell one for 1.5 BTC, let alone 4 due to the diff increases.

So we have a comparision:

1. Your titan - 3.8 BTC + Shipping + Customs duty to UK would total 4 BTC probably for me. 4 BTC ($4000, $143 a month profit at 10c kWh so a 30 month ROI if diff remains the same (it wont))
https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc?hashrate=400&speedunit=MH%2Fs&difficulty=102398.53515485&price=3.8996&currency=USD&power=1300&energycost=0.10

2. 1 Bitmain L3 -  1.94 BTC + Shipping + Customs duty to UK, totals 2.1 BTC for me. ($2100, 119 USD/month profit, 21 month ROI at 10c kWh if diff remains the same (it wont) )
https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc?hashrate=250&speedunit=MH%2Fs&difficulty=102398.53515485&price=3.8996&currency=USD&power=400&energycost=0.10

3. 2 Bitmain L3 - 3.88 btc + shipping + customs duty, around 4.1 BTC. ($4100, $238 / month profit at 10c kWh, if diff remains the same)
https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc?hashrate=500&speedunit=MH%2Fs&difficulty=102398.53515485&price=3.8996&currency=USD&power=800&energycost=0.10

Note options 2 and 3 have a warranty, splits it across two rigs (if a KNC titan has a ground fault, all cubes die, if controller dies, your stuffed and many want insane prices for controllers they can't sell)

Due to the risk in purchasing it (diff will probably double by the end of this year, meaning ROI would be 3+ years on this rig, i would have my offers on titans stand at 1 - 1.5 BTC. I am not lowballing but being realistic about my investments.

I thought i would write this hard math, at the current diff of 102k to ensure that people do not get ensnared into buying one, the loss of money will be massive, make no mistake. If you have free electric it MAY be worth the risk, but not with the bitmain HW around.

My 1 - 1.5 BTC offer for one of these will stand if you wish to take it, i understand if you don't if you have already ROIed if i were you keep it plugged in and mining as you may make more in the long run.

If you wish to get more, try listing it on ebay, although most buying on there without free electric won't roi, prices are insane plus you have the eBay fees (10% of your sale price).

I hope this helps, im not being an ass but just doing hard math, i like to consider any offer I make as fair, and thus this is my justification for my offer Smiley It is up to you to accept or decline as you see fit as it is your miner. I recommend if you want more though any would wish to not take my offer, then plug it in and mine if your power is cheap enough you will get more if you are willing to wait.

Sorry if the above sounds a bit crappy, i do hope that you didn't pay through the nose for it and havn't yet ROIed because my condolences if you have...

89  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [FS] knc titans a lot of stuff on: February 02, 2017, 10:58:02 PM
You have offered these to me, you will not get more than 1, maybe 1.5 BTC for them. Next LTC diff jump is 104k. The days of getting rich ship selling titans has sailed although you might get lucky selling it on eBay. I got 2.5 BTC worth for my own titan but I sold it before the diff jump and the Bitmain hardware was announced. Now the diff is ever climbing, you will not ROI paying 1 BTC, let alone 3 unless your power is free.

My offer of 1 BTC for this titan will stand, based on financial risk.
90  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Faulty PS2, PS3 and PS4 consoles on: February 02, 2017, 01:02:55 AM
I am looking to buy faulty PS2 and PS3 consoles plus any other playstation stuff as I repair/refurbish them and sell them on once they have been repaired, but i tend to buy job lots to repair. I am interested in lots of any size if they can be shipped or even a single console. In the UK i am willing to travel with several suitcases to pick up lots that are too large to practically ship, this has proven the best way to get lots for my shop.

If anyone has any faulty PS2, PS3 and PS4 stuff let me know! Boxed, unboxed. I offer the following:

Faulty PS2 Consoles: 0.007 BTC + shipping
Faulty PS3 Consoles (PS2 BC model, 4 USB ports): 0.015 - 0.03 BTC each depending on condition, if it has box, controllers, etc + shipping.
Faulty PS3 Consoles (All other models, 2 USB ports): 0.01 BTC each + shipping.

Note: I am only interested in consoles which have the original warranty seal intact, especially in the case of PS3 BC models. Heat gun reflows will damage the board beyond reballing repair.

Any other large faulty or working job lots i will be interested in including games controllers etc, let me know a price.

91  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] Sony silver PS2 slim - BNIB (unsealed) - 0.1 BTC on: February 02, 2017, 12:36:01 AM
I have a sony PS2 with its cables still sealed (controller came in a bag which never seemed to be sealed) and the PS2 without a single mark on it. This PS2 is BNIB and has never been used, but the box is not sealed; the PS2 still has it's foam around it.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172508053085?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 is my actual listing, i have two BNIB PS2s in identical condition.

This is more than what a PS2 will go for used, but i am asking a bit less on here than ebay as ebay slap fees on.

I also have a PS3 60GB (backwards compatible) in identical condition for 0.35 BTC (currently entertaining some 0.33 BTC equiv. offers i might take) (this was turned on only once to create a user and update firmware, not a mark on it, controller and cables still in little bags), all these consoles do not have a single mark on them, have open boxes but have in the case of the PS2s zero use, in the case of the PS3 60GB Backwards Compatible model, probably two hours use at most.

The 60GB PS3 is here if anyone is interested: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172507754466?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

I have a fully working black PS2 slim with controller and all leads for 0.025 BTC, and a SEALED BNIB PS2 DualShock 2 controller for 0.04 BTC.

If anyone is interested, drop me a line! Will ship worldwide, based in the UK. Note these consoles are all EU region, although on the PS3 the region lock applies only to PS2 games and PS1 games, not PS3 games.

94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Node Hosting Service - node-hosting.online Seed / Regular Nodes 0.1 B /yr on: January 30, 2017, 06:43:52 PM
Limited Time offer: 0.09 /BTC /year, offer ends February 14!
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Node Hosting Service - node-hosting.online Seed / Regular Nodes 0.1 B /yr on: January 28, 2017, 12:06:41 AM
If you make your own coin (or if you support a coin and you want to pay for a high speed low latency node to support the coins network), this service is ideal. Say you wanted to make your own altcoin. The wallet when you open it connects to a few hard coded nodes within it, this is where it gets the initial list of peers to connect to from. If you took away the seed nodes, no peers would be found the 'no block source' in the wallet. You can manually add nodes, but who wants that, especially a beginner for a coin.

My service comes in where you make an altcoin, i host a seed node using the compiled coin software and you add in your seed node in your altcoin for example: coinname.node-hosting.online

Often you will have more than one seed node, in the case of HODLCoin they have multiples, I am one of them.

So when you start the wallet it looks to the seed nodes first.

This service is also good if you support the coins network and it does not have many low latency nodes. This can cause orphaned pool blocks due to slow relay time among other things these nodes are good to strengthen the network and can also be a good relay between pools etc without latency problems if pools chose to directly connect to the node. This can be hosted by a member of the community paying for it for support, like the UNO community did. That is the second use of such a node. In the case of HODLCoin my node has over 30 peers connected, where most home nodes are capped at 8 by default unless you remove the cap, it uses about 1 GB of server bandwith a day, so for an established coin no small server should be used for seed nodes.

If you make your own altcoin, I am happy to host a node for 0.1 BTC/year. I do not take customers with a greater than 1% total money supply premine, though so bear that in mind. Otherwise, go for it!
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: You want your own coin?I do it for you! on: January 27, 2017, 11:57:46 PM
The server node is a seed node usually. Basically when you start up your coin wallet it looks to the seed node FIRST then looks for other peers from there. If you made a coin with him for example you could have him hardcode multiple seed nodes or just one.

I offer seed node or regular node hosting service for any coin for 0.1 BTC / year, which would cover that. As the coin grew it is affordable to either renew or move the seed node to your own server if you so wished. For instance, the HODLCoin dev paid me to host one of the HODLCoin seed nodes on my server. He has multiple seed nodes for redundancy.

His 0.025 BTC / month = 0.3 BTC / year for seed node hosting. Good quality servers are expensive, but I was able to make it affordable for me on decent hardware for 0.1 BTC / year. His coin making prices are good though. Combining mine and his services would make a more affordable way of making a coin and having good quality seed or other nodes for it. Or if you wanted more than one seed node for your coin, take both his and my service, or host the seed node yourself on your own server and forgo mine or his service, or add our services along side your own for backup.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: You want your own coin?I do it for you! on: January 27, 2017, 09:12:53 PM
I offer node hosting services for new coins, maybe you could direct any of your customers to have you make the coin and me host the seed nodes? pricing here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1766796.msg17643679#msg17643679

I would be willing to pay 0.01 BTC per referred customer (yearly node hosting cost is 0.1 BTC with me, if you recommend a customer to me who signs up, you will get a 0.01 BTC bonus).

So someone pays you to make the coin, and can then if they want have a seed hosted from me (any good coin should always have multiple seed nodes), nodes hosted by me are given their own subdomain, such as <coinname>.node-hosting.online, as a coin can have multiple seed nodes this need not interfere with your seed nodes at all and could be used alongside them if the coin buyer chooses. After a year the service can be renewed.

The server specification is quad core Xeon servers, 4GB RAM, 1Gbps network, with plenty of disk space on my servers.

Good luck on your business venture!

98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: January 27, 2017, 08:39:39 PM
If the ETC community would like a high speed low latency node hosted, i am able to host a supernode for ETC for 0.2 BTC / year see here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1766796.0 for my node hosting service. If any in the ETC community are interested, drop me a line! I hold some ETC.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FAIR] Faircoin2 Call for nodes!! on: January 27, 2017, 08:20:24 PM
I have remote access to the server, all i need to do is install the node and configure it to accept large numbers of connections and then its ready for use, the node address users can add into their conf files or add it via the console, especially pools. The dev could also code it as a seed node if he preferred and reupload his binaries. For a coin with few nodes, this sort of node is a good node to have.

For HODLCoin, my server became one of the seed nodes, sending around 0.8GB of information/day for that one coin. A supernode is a node intended to allow a high amount of peers to connect, so if there are not many nodes on good connections you may find new users or one setting up a new wallet can download the blockchain faster, etc. I would highly recommend any coin using one of my nodes has pools directly connecting to it for faster block propagation = lower orphan rate.

Seems like someone has started their wallet, I am grabbing the blockchain. Once the 0.1 BTC bounty is paid, this node will be hosted for 1 year per 0.1 BTC and kept up to date with any late forks. May SHT live on!
