how will I be able to get my tokens out of the ICO account? I assume it will ask us for a waves or other address?

am I the only seller of this today? no matter what price I set, sell orders keep filling high 419 so far

wow, that 100k wall was like a knife through butter
this is one of the best investments ever if it keeps up - what are realistic targets if crypto market holds for the next year, 2 years?
impressive

look, alts and BTC have risen dramatically in the past few months...any or all could crash but, do you really think blockchain tech is not going to be massively adopted? Think about that in a longer term view
I believe it is prudent to diversify your crypto investments - and trim some holdings for fiat as the prices go up. This way, you have dry powder for the inevitable dips. But, importantly, don't forget to buy the dips and crashes!

you know, it's a bubble - but maybe only a short term one there re many positive catalysts the next few years
- ETFs - Hedge / Investment fund formation & buying - non-early adopter buying - hopefully scaling (segwit +lightning) solution - potential safe haven asset - next halving before you know it
sure, lots of possible negs as well, but the long term trend looks promising
I don't know about you, but i have tech savvy friends who own no coin still...lot of comers to the party to get in

look, there are new hedge funds forming with big money to invest in crypto - they won't put it all in BTC, so diversification makes sense
I think the hedge funds will pump coins to high levels - but I know the hedgies short as well, so taking profits along the way will be prudent
You're only proving the point that newbs have been duped by false "diversification", lol. Let's check back next year and see how that worked out, shall we? Depends when you're diversifying. If you're doing it now that the market has just rose a million times over, you're probably an idiot. If you diversified a month ago when the altcoins' caps were dramatically less, you were probably pretty clever. Obviously if the Bitcoin price goes up dramatically in a year you'll be laughing at people who diversified even at the right time, but that wouldn't mean they were wrong to do so. The actual risk:reward ratio of keeping all your money in Bitcoin might have been terrible. yeah, I mean if 25x to 50x baggers mean you have been duped, sign me up

anyone think the ETF has a chance this time for approval?

total mkt cap of crypto (available supply) will approach 100 bil $ soon imho makes sense to be diversified in BTC and Alt - even if alts crash...how soon we forget that BTC crashes very hard as well
|
|
|
it will be time to sell some when the "mainstream" folk start actually acting on buying BTC on coinbase or ETF, etc. basically when they start talking about it and FOMO kicks in, take some off the table. (doesn't seem we are anywhere near there yet based on my anecdotal checks)

who bought GNO for 5000btc price? lol
a hacker I suppose .. with the stolen API key from a whale they always paint the tape on polo - probably a few buck buy at that level just to get it printed

am I the only one on the board who diversifies in Alts (large n small cap) while holding majority BTC? Seems the way to go as a buy and holder
my BTC dominance has gone from 80% to 60%, pretty much mirroring the actual BTC dominance
|
|

I don't get why market cap still is around 3,5 million usd This one is worth at least 35 million Just a matter of time I think...... curious, why do you think it should be worth $35 million? I a in it too - but product has not been released yet, right?

if you know when the BTC withdrawals from Lite client are enabled, can someone post here?
|
|
|
Are withdrawals in btc enabled in liteclient? How long will it take to withdraw?
Can anyone have idea about btc withdrawal delay from Waves LiteClient? How many hours should I wait? Is it possible to withdraw to direct bitcoin address? for my one attempt to withdraw BTC, the wait is eternal didn't work for me and support was no help at all

I have been with Waves since the ICO, and this seems like its a bit confusing. I would have to research this with a small amount before knowing, but I see there is a SEND and a WITHDRAW button. Both sound like they would do the same. If I want to SEND BTC to Bittrex or do I WITHDRAW BTC to Bittrex? I am confused also.
If you want to send WBTC as token, use "SEND" button. If you want to send (convert) WBTC > BTC, use "WITHDRAW" button. Is there a way to get BTC out of Waves lite client? if so, how long does it take?
If you want to send WBTC as token, use "SEND" button. If you want to send (convert) WBTC > BTC, use "WITHDRAW" button. Usually it takes 10-20 minutes + some confirmations in the bitcoin blockchain. didn't work for me, and I did it this way - I will give bad review that the process does not work until proven otherwise. What does not work for you? It does not make sense, just send us a support ticket at : support@wavesplatform.com with detailed information. OK, I just sent it with the copied transaction info from lite client

withdrew 0.06 bitcoin off of dex to bittrex 48hrs now and no confirms the trans id show up but that's all.. also what is going on with the gateway it is soposed to be decentralized I do not see that ween they are holding the keys to bitcoin though the gateway
did your transaction ever go through? I am attempting the same thing with no luck. Anyone from Waves can chime in to say that this process works, or why it does not? Makes DEX almost irrelevant if it does not Did you sent WBTC from your WavesWallet to Bittrex ? I don't think Bittrex support WBTC currently. I hit withdraw under my bitcoin balance in the liteclient and it asked for a bitcoin address (which I entered and it accepted), didn't say it was WBTC. is that the way to get real BTC out of Waves liteclient, or is there no way to do it? WBTC is the same as BTC but working in the waves blockchain. Is there a way to get BTC out of Waves lite client? if so, how long does it take?

Perhaps the Bitcoin address was typoed? Do it matter if extra spaces were after the address?
It is weird that blockchain.info cannot tell you about the transaction, I would experiment with $2.00 before I throw a large sum at it.
blockchain.info recognizes the address I input- but not the transaction ID that Waves lite client lists...makes me believe it is an internal trans ID rather than a bitcoin network one...
