Currently eclipse stopped working for me

BitMinter.com is another great one with only requiring 1% donation for you to receive instant payout without waiting 120 confirmations for BTC

92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Haw many PPCoins will there be? on: September 29, 2012, 01:27:08 PM
whould i mine PPcoin's as i have 100Mhash or should i stay away

Do you want ppcoins?  The math I just worked out (might not be correct) showed me that it was slightly more profitable to mine ppcoin than BTC right now. However I doubt that will cover your electric costs.

please can you show me your math

and should i mine solo a join a pool

and if pool which pool

and how many pool's are there for PPcoin?
93  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: guiminer stops approx 10 minutes after monitor turned off. wtf? on: September 29, 2012, 01:17:17 PM
well, i sleep in the same room, so keeping the screen on is a no go. and a dummy plug would probably work, yea. i forgot to mention the tv is plugged into the nvidia card and nothing into the amd.

either way, moot point. i think i've sorted it. i sat here reading a book while listening for the fan changes so i could test different things. first thing i did was reset the clocks to default. ran fine. i must have had them set too high or the fan speed inadequate or something along those lines. so, i THINK i'm sorted. least i hope i am.

bring on the asic's and no need to fudge like this...

you are welcome
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [SUGGESTIONS] LiteBit.co on: September 29, 2012, 12:53:58 PM
We are soliciting suggestions on where to direct our limited availablity towards making LiteBit a true community destination.

Brief History:
We started at the beginning of 2012 with the intent of creating a convienient online billboard highlighting Bitcoin & Litecoin Community Projects.  We pushed Litecoin projects harder than Bitcoin projects because of the lack of exposure these startups had and the "newness" of the Litecoin Project itself.  The big goal was giving these project teams free marketing and more exposure for donations and recruitment.

Around April my wife and I adopted a beautiful baby girl and my time to work on most projects went down the crapper

Told you it was brief  Tongue

Suggestions, Questions, Thoughts, Rants, Raves, Issues, Problems, Praises:
I'm starting to carve out time again for LiteBit.co and 2 other cryptocoin projects I have been mulling on.

• I'd love to highlight new projects: both Litecoin & Bitcoin
• I need to purge some "old" projects
• Anything we may be missing on the site to help the community?
• Would a Marketplace supporting both LTC & BTC be worthwhile?
• Would a chat feature be worthwhile?  Either on a dedicated page or sidebar or per project?  Or not at all?
• Are the ads distracting?
• Are there sections we could add to enhance the visitor experience?

I appreciate the feedback ahead of time
Cheers,

Paul

go on but please don't put ads

Actually, I thought about it a bit more, and specifically under the Decrits system this would be possible because of the shareholder system.

Users blind their transactions and shareholders add them to a blind sig queue. Once there are enough in the queue (decided by the protocol, say 50 or so txes), a shareholder will sign all of them and have the coins deposited to his shareholder stake. Then the txes can be unblinded by their owners and sent along the network whenever they feel the need. You have the slight chance of getting boned if the shareholder removes his share, but he is only allowed to do this once per year, otherwise he has to pay a very big penalty. This does mean that the total of the blinded txes would have to be no more than a percentage of the shareholder's stake though, so if you want to unlink a lot of money it is going to take a lot of time. There may perhaps be a better way though. (perhaps being willing to put a bigger stake on the line to provide this service? for a fee, obv)

Having a built in coin mixer or tumbler is pretty crucial I suspect.

i would also like a coin like that
