81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with 1,5 BTC? on: April 16, 2016, 06:36:40 PM
Buy a laptop to develop bitcoin...
it is useless because everyone already have a lot of computers and laptops Cheesy
for me buy miner to mine Cheesy its passive income

I don't know as i have never tried it, but i've heard it from a lot of people that mining now a days has no much profit.
Because of the electricity costs all your profits goes there, so it would be just a little profit in a huge time interval.
And what i think is just 1.5BTC is not enough for starting with mining if you want to do real mining, i mean not online.
Mining isn't profitable anymore. The electricity price of mining is going to be higher than your earning unless you live in China or other cheap electricity nation.

Even if you earn money from mining, the earning is going to be satoshi or very low.
82  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: April 16, 2016, 06:34:52 PM
Maybe I'm old-fashioned but I think that rather than encouraging them to sit at a computer or mobile device trying to weasel a few satoshis, you should encourage them to get out and learn to work to earn money.

Do they still have paper routes? Door-to-door sales? Even better, they could start their own enterprises like lemonade stands or creating crafts to sell. Then they could use some of their earnings to buy Bitcoin if they so desire.

I wish I'd followed the example of one of my more enterprising grade school classmates who had both morning and evening paper routes, delivered after school for a local pharmacy, and delivered fish and chips on Friday evenings. He saved every penny he earned and when the pharmacist retired, he quit school at the age of 16, bought the shop and hired a licensed pharmacist. By the time he was 20, he owned 3 drug stores and 4 smoke shops.

I wasn't quite that motivated but at least when I was 5 or 6 years old I was harvesting wild watercress from a swamp in a local undrained park and selling it to the a neighborhood grocer, $0.10 per 6-quart basket full. When he sold it for $0.10 per bunch (6 bunches per basket) I got an early lesson in retail markups. By the time I was 10 I was printing certificates (good for one errand) and selling them to neighbors and family. Unfortunately I didn't save my money but spent it on candy and toys. By my teens, I was harvesting used soy sauce barrels from the back alleys of Chinatown, cleaning them (yuck), refinishing them, stretching soaked rawhide over their tops and selling them as conga drums. This I used to pay rent on my own place.

You're not doing your kids any favors by letting them sit indoors staring at display screens.

Just my opinion.
Agreed. I didn't think about earning money in my child days. Child should've be happy and shouldn't worry about money. They need to enjoy life as much as possible.

But in the Teenage days, I desperate for money because i routinely go to alot of places and watch in theater. So i started earning money in my teen days.

Just let your kid enjoy it's moment before it sucked. Dont let them worry about money. Just let them be happy first.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: April 16, 2016, 06:28:17 PM
1) For big transaction, the transfer fee is really low. It's great if you live in other nation and wanted to send money to your parent.

2) For investment, Bitcoin price is rising. It will be a great investment to get some profit.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: April 16, 2016, 06:25:00 PM
It will rise for a short time. It'll drop again fast because people will sell their bitcoin as fast as possible.

Halving is arguable if it's going to be profitable or not. If you sell it fast enough, you'll get a lot of profit. If you don't , well... it will be the same as before.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: April 16, 2016, 06:20:45 PM
much as possible I want to hold coins for price increase purposes but there are times that minor spendings occur so withdrawing bitcoin is really unavoidable.
Yes most of us are holding now. The time seems to be perfect to hold since it can go up big time.
However i am not buying anymore since there is also a big chance the price will go down again

I dont think that the price would go down now and will still go up,holding right now is perfect for me too before i sell my bitcoin at the right price.

Price will rise in next couple of months as we are expecting halving in next few months and that will take bitcoin to higher level and we can see all time high in this year.
It'll rise for a short time because people will sell it as fast as possible. If a lot of btc got sold , btc price will drop again.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: April 16, 2016, 06:18:37 PM
First of all, people will tend to learn if it's necessary. If bitcoin still isn't used everywhere, why they want to learn it?

If bitcoin got accepted everywhere, then people will try to learn it. They could learn it by watching videos, reading blogs about btc, or even told by their friends about it.
87  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: April 16, 2016, 06:17:12 PM
what you will chose amomg them.and why do the banks are afraid of bitcoin.why banks are not much smooth and faster like bitcoin.if banks start accepting bitcoin as payments then will it became a revolutionary for us?can bank can solve our mining or money curculation probems.
i will prefer to choose bank account for now, realistic is the best way to easy make transaction in real life, because not all people in my life use and know bitcoin, but i hope someday they will follow my way to use bitcoin.
I agree. Bitcoin isn't accepted as easily as fiat. I'm still using banks for buying things in the minimarket , shops, etc.

If bitcoin got accepted everywhere, maybe i'll move all of my money to bitcoin.
88  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: April 16, 2016, 04:30:56 PM
2016 is the year of bitcoin this month bitcoin havent gone down to $300 and it looking good have a steady price which is a good time to invest in it.
I think we just need to be patient and wait for halving occurs. I strongly believe that halving have happened then bitcoin will be sought and used by everyone in the world in conducting financial transactions. bitcoin will continue rising to 700 USD. I believe !
You'll only get profit in the Halving if you sell your bitcoin fast enough.

People will tend to sell the bitcoin. More bitcoin sold = lower bitcoin price.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: April 16, 2016, 04:29:21 PM
SEMI FINAL DRAW Europa League

SHAKHTAR vs SEVILLA

VILLAREAL vs LIVERPOOL, Liverpool play the second leg at Anfield, I hope the game will be like yesterday with Dortmund

FINAL : Sevilla vs Liverpool, I hope Liverpool can be a champion, if sevilla become champion again is boring, they could win the Europa League title three years in a row.
my favourite team Liverpool will meet strong team on europa Villarreal and both teams have the same chance for went to the final but i'm really hope that Klopp can show his magic again just like against Dortmund few days ago and the previous champion Sevilla always be good for european league i think Shakhtar must working hard to beat Sevilla
Villareal is really good now. They got a draw against Barcelona with only 1 player and kicked out coach.

They could make 2-0 to 2-2 in 45 mins. That's great skills. It's going to be hard for Liverpool to win.

Sevilla is keep winning the Euro. I hope that they lose now. But Shakhtar isn't that good...
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: April 16, 2016, 04:26:43 PM
Split your money for gambling and for saving. Then play.

If you happens to win a gamble, stop gambling and take your profit. Dont try to uses all of your profit for more gambling. While it could earn you much more money, but the risk is really high.
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this what we called "addictive to gamble"? on: April 16, 2016, 04:24:17 PM
Greed is the nature of human. If you win once, you'll try to earn much much more. If you lose, you'll try to make up your loss.

In the end, you only wasted your money to get nothing .
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Bitcoin? on: April 16, 2016, 04:22:35 PM
I've made quite some posts and read even more threads. Which made me think about the combination of Bitcoin and Gambling.

Is it ok to gamble with bitcoin? Last year we've seen a lot of scams and 'hacks'. Fact is that most of them are either made up by the devs or done by scammers whom use bitcoin's anonimity.

Pro
Let's be honest, Gambling is fun, but Bitcoin it is also very easy?

Con
Look at some dice sites, cloud mining sites that ust dissapeared with consumers money.

Since it is about money I am interested in your opintion, Is the combination of gambling and Bitcoin good?
For the pro, you could earn up to double / triple of your money. Gambling is the fastest way to get rich.

The cons is that if you gamble and you lose, you usually lose control of yourself and keep playing to return your lost money. You could go bankrupt.
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: April 16, 2016, 04:19:44 PM
Split your money for gambling and saving.

If you win a gamble, stop gambling and take your profit rather than trying to get more profit and then *poof* gone.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy in Roulette ? on: April 16, 2016, 04:19:04 PM
There's no strategy in roulette. It's all about luck.

Strategy said by people are useless for roulette.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: April 16, 2016, 04:16:50 PM
Ethereum is a new altcoin. With Microsoft help and active devs, it's price will rise.

ETH price is keep rising over the days. If you want to invest, it's a pretty good choice
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: top20 cons on: April 16, 2016, 08:44:34 AM
BTC is on top because it's the most used cryptocurrency in the world now.

ETH is still new. With the support of Microsoft, it's not a suprise ETH is big.

Doge and Lite is big, but their price is slowly dropping .
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: April 16, 2016, 08:40:30 AM
Trumpcoin now is rising. The graph is showing that trump is rising now. Trump is worth buying because the price keep rising.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH GETTING DUMPED HARD!!!! on: April 16, 2016, 08:39:26 AM
Now, ethereum is pretty stable in $8 or 0.019 btc.

Ethereum has dropped since it's released. Trading ETC is not wise now since the price keep dropping.
99  Economy / Gambling / Re: MY WEBSITE help Me QUIT GAMBLING. on: April 16, 2016, 08:37:21 AM
It's good if your gambling site makes you quit gambling, but i'm not sure how it'll help other? everyone wants to make real profit that's why folks gamble, the only motive of gambling is profit and fun for some.(those who are in for fun can utilize your site)
50 btc is a lot to lose Undecided, when and where did you lose?

I lost 50btc from the 90 btc profit i made. I walked out with 40 btc (which could be 90btc) and from there on I understand that greed is built right into everyone brain. I won from PD
Yes, it is the greed which have looted every person in the field of gambling. A person who once win a game he thinks to win again and again and in that way his/her greed make them lose all their wealth.
Yep. Human greed is controlling you when you gamble. If you win, you always want to play again and again until you got no money left.

Even tho gambling is fun and such, but the risk is really high. It's better to not gamble ever.

Anyway, congrats to monodice for curing his/her addiction.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHERUM will be 1st Crypto Currency..? on: April 16, 2016, 08:30:12 AM
I think one NO from Microsoft is not such a big deal. They will change their minds one day. I voted for no, eth is nice coin I earned od that coin, but now its falling. I'm thinking to wait a bit more and maybe buy it again. But all that is same game like with other alt coins, for me bitcoin will always be number 1 crypto currency.

I agree. A lot of ETH transaction is done using bitcoin , not fiat. Now, BTC is still the strongest and most used since it's the most accepted everywhere.
